During covid, the restaurant serves slow food. But overall is good .. good

A luxury hotel within walking distance of Sukhumvit Station with the famous rooftop bar in Bangkok!
Nearby food stalls are also busy, and access to the NANA Plaza is also a good choice!

Absolutely loved my stay here. I was with a group and we all loved our hotel. The buffet was FIRE! Excellent food! The rooftop pool is AMAZING. The rooftop bar is super cool and the views are amazing. Loved the hotel. Smelled awful outside but nothing in the hotel. Love the area, lots to do nearby. Easy to walk to places. Love it.

Excellent service, beautiful rooms and stunning view from the rooftop bar. The staff is professional and responsive. The Hotel offers choice of 3 restaurants. The morning breakfast consists of a rich buffet.

Amazing hotel, very helpful friendly staff and high spec rooms. Cherry on the cake is the rooftop bar though, worth staying here just for this, especially at sunset. Not cheap but definitely worth it.

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect at any Marriott. Clean, great service, comfortable. Amazing rooftop lounge with incredible views of Bangkok, and decent DJ spinning every night. Probably the best spot in Bangkok to watch the sun go down!

Enjoyed the stay here, friendly people..enjoyed the food expecially samber, curry, puri idli which we missed for the last 3 weeks of our vocation...all the food lovely and hospitalility is beyond expectation.

Modern, new hotel. Liked the breakfast andthe rooftop bar. Exec lounge was overcrowded, often no seating available and food/drinks offering was mediocre. My (premium) room was small, the layout awkward and the design uninspired.

Guests Platinum and above can currently receive Club benefits during happy hour near the lobby because the Club Lounge is temporarily closed. At the moment They offer a quality a la carte menu straight from the kitchen and two hours of drinks and cocktails. For 30 USD per night and considering the value of food & beverage we received, it made the room essentially free.

Hotel staff told me that all suites are on floors 36-39 and those floors were entirely closed so I knew before going to the hotel that our chances of a suite upgrade were zero. I booked the entry level room and ended up in an Executive room (I think); I am not sure what is the difference between the first categories of room types because they are all 34 square meters. Anyway the quality of the room was good and I especially liked the marble floor and limited use of carpet which was only around the bed. The shower / tub enclosure was very large and also had marble all around. Considering other hotels in this price range that we visited recently, the room was superior to competitors, in fact I think I liked that room better than some suites we received at other hotels which is unusual.

Last year there was no breakfast buffet and the a la carte menu was excellent, this year the buffet has returned. I found the choices to be above average including a daily rotation of curries, fried rice with protein (not only vegetarian), nice pieces of grilled fish (salmon, sea bass), etc.

Happy hour has been cut back to 2 hours only (5:30pm-7:30pm) but as mentioned above the good news is that they retained the a la carte menu compared to our stay last year. As far as lounge food goes, this hotel is hard to beat. For the price guests currently have to pay at this hotel it was surprisingly good quality, in fact guests could order whatever they wanted from the menu and as many times as they wanted so it could easily be a meal and the menu changed every day. Drinks included cocktails and not only house wine and beer. It is possible to pay as low as 30 USD per night for the room if combining with Megatix, I doubt there are many nice restaurants in Bangkok where a couple can get a multiple-course dinner including cocktails for this price, and we still get the most important part as it s a hotel after all: a room for the night!

Wifi speed was unstable during our stay. Upload speed was generally good, varying between 30-80 Mbps but I clocked download speed as low as 4 Mbps and as high as 30 Mbps depending on the time of day. This was different than my stay last year where everything was smooth, consequently it seems wifi is more problematic since the hotel occupancy has gone up.

Overall for 30 USD per night the value was undeniable and even considering the many offers in hotels in Bangkok at the moment, Marriott Sukhumvit is one of the best deals one can find even without the suite upgrade. The little cherry on top for value is that they even provided two free pieces of laundry per day for guests Platinum and above. Given the above average quality of the room I will be inclined to return in the future when things are back to normal to see their suites.

Really disappointed with the stay at this hotel. There's a nice rooftop bar, but they gave away all the seats to backpackers from hostels who were buying 1 drink.. meanwhile people staying at the hotel were forced to stand at the bar. I repeatedly mentioned that it seems backwards to not give your paying customers a table but was given a laundry list of excuses instead.

Most popular pub in Bali. Mostly known for their buffet and Discos. They have very convenient drink options. Recommend.

There are not many people in the pool and it is good to play.

I checked out, left my baggage, came to play pool, went to the sauna and ate until dinner.

This is my favorite hotel in Bangkok. The price is good and the rooms are fantastic. There is also a awesome roof top bar that offer great views of the city at night. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent hotel in Thonglor area. The rooms are bit on the smaller side, but they are fully loaded. Very nice rooftop bar, good food.

I travel all over the world for business and I never leave reviews for large hotels. The staff at this Marriott is so exceptional I had to give them credit. The absolute most wonderful people, kind, helpful, super friendly and nice. The facility is also beautiful and right next to the subway. It s in a quieter neighborhood with less chaos but two stops away from all the nightlife and shopping. Highly recommend! Also, I recommend the hotels airport car service...super helpful!

Rooftop is a must-visit spot to explore the scenery of Bangkok plus alcohol during happy hour!

Nice hotel, good and friendly service. Rooftop bar serves good cocktails and obviously good 360 degree view of Bangkok. A bit pricy but I think it is reasonable specially during happy hour.

The rooms are neat and clean, the service is very intimate and welcoming, all the staff are smiling with care, and the holiday is very relaxing.
Convenient transportation, there are many high-quality and delicious shops nearby, and the nearby ramen shop, mango glutinous rice are very delicious.
There are not many types of breakfast, but there are some basics, but the service staff are very careful to pay attention to every link.

I've only been to the rooftop bar - its a great view and not too crowded with nice cocktails.

Can't say enough good things about being gold status and above with a nice place like this. Room upgrade and lots of good amenities and services. Ambassador lounge plus food buffet. Pool with decent gym and washroom view and size was very nice. Roof top bar and very good service. Furniture was a bit beat up but minor considering we're here for bangkok. Thong Lot location was amazing.. none stop food and bars ! Enjoy and thanks again Marriott !

I was invited to an Indian wedding and stayed for 4 nights. Comfortable and perfect. It is a few minutes' walk from Thonglor Skytrain Station. A wedding ceremony and a party were also held in the hotel for 4 days.

Great hotel. Beautiful room. The sky bar !!!! But ... a couple of details bugged me. First was the desk chair with false leather pealling off. Not a big deal the rest of the room was fine . Second was a wake up at 6 am on Sunday due to radio alarm of next room going full blast. I guess room service forgot to check the alarm when the people left the room. Last, the hotel restaurant. I have a hard time believing people travels to Thailand for business or pleasure and wish to pay top dollar for a steak.

Shower and bathroom are integrated and easy to use.

First class accommodation, dining, rooftop bar... Near Thonglor BTS... Downside - you don't get Marriott rewards nights in your account...
