It will be in the next century when I revisit this greasy spoon. All the seniors and bluehairs rave about this joint because their taste buds are dead and the food is overcooked to the point where you don't need to chew it - just slurp it down. NEVER AGAIN

Excellent food at fair prices! Service was great and we really liked the interior look of the bar and restaurant. Their fried cod was very tasty and we also enjoyed their appetizer sampler. I'd recommend anyone to stop by this spot and give them a try!

A BAKER s fan for years. Variety of foods offered. Weekly specials include Chicken N Dumplings on Thursday. Great cocktails, smiling faces, happy following. Due to the present health conditions, comfortable care has been taken for your safety and mine. See you there!

This is only my second visit, the first one a year ago with friends turned out to be a wonderful, relaxed and pleasant meal, so we had to come visit again. Our waitress Jeanne not only recognized us, but remembered things we had ordered. We definitely must have left a good impression, and these days it is extremely rare to have a staff member recall us from a year ago. It was the beginning of yet another great meal of shared appetizers, tasty entrees, and dessert indulgences. There's nothing bad on their menu. The place is cozy, a bit old fashioned, and the food is dynamite.

Bakers always a quiet place to have a meal. The service was ok. I order a brisket sandwich with no gravy and on wheat bread. The waitress brought the sandwich and it had gravy all over it. I told her i didn't want gravy. The waitress took back the sandwich. The waitress brought out another sandwich on white bread. I just said thank you. The sandwich meat was tough to eat. I don't think it was brisket meat at all. I ordered coffee. The waitress told me she wouldn't charge me for my coffee. I really didn't think the meal of two sandwiches and one cup of soup and a small bowl of Turkey chilli. Was worth 42.00 dollars. Me and my daughter wont be back. If you want a quite place to eat then go to bakres. But if you want good food that not to touch then go somewhere else.

During these unusual times we find ourselves eating takeout more. I had the shepherds pie the seasonings were great. I only had one complaint which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Every once in awhile I would bite into a mostly raw potatoes. I did love the seasonings they use different than I've had before

My wife and I have been going to Baker's Restaurant since we moved into the area 7 years ago. We have tried most of the entrees on the menu.

In our opinion, they have the BEST crab bisque that we have ever tasted. It has just the right amount of Old Bay seasoning to give it great flavor without overpowering it.

We have always enjoyed our meals here. Our only disappointment is that the plain baked haddock is very bland. But we found the Carribean style and Chesapeake style haddock versions are quite flavorful. We also recommend asking for a substitution for it if you order the Baked Seafood Platter. It's well worth it.

For the most part, the staff has been very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Yes, we did have the occasional server who was not up to par, but everyone has a bad day occasionally.

Lunch was delicious, with one 'favorite entree' : crab pretzel sandwich; and one new offering: corn cake pulled pork & coleslaw sandwich. Service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere was pleasantly comfortable.

Got food to go 9-11-19. A burger. They asked how I wanted it cooked. I said well done. Totally pink but also fairly tasteless. I asked for lettuce, tomato, onion. There was lots of onion. I just like a little so I pulled most of it off. As I ate, I kept smelling something that stank so bad but nothing tasted bad. FInally I smelled the fries, the pickle, and then the bunch of onion I pulled off, ughh. That was it!! Like something rotted. I'm sure it absorbed the smell of something it was stored with. I pulled the rest of the onion off the burger. Fries not even fully cooked and tasteless. I only ate 3. This morning I've had to use the toilet 2X. Will NOT be eating there again!!

We came down to celebrate a wedding at Baker's and we were very impressed with the food. We had three tables of between 6 and 8 people each. We were given one server and she was AMAZING!!!! Didn't miss a drink refill the entire night, had all of our orders correct, and she looked unflappable the entire time. The Christmas decor was plentiful tastefully done. I enjoyed the prime rib - twice! There was more than enough for left-overs the next day. I also had a sampling of the scalloped potatoes; wow! Delicious! And the Crab Bisque had sooo much crab in it - fantastic!

Server was very rude to us the minute we walked in. We almost walked right out, but gave it a chance. The food was not good. Items over cooked. I ordered the pickle beets for a side, they were just sliced canned beets. The food was not very Fresh, a lot of items frozen or canned. Very disappointed

Great Chinese restaurant, Mexican and Japenese are good too. There is an Ihop which is normally a popular place for breakfast and a great coffee shop which normally has live music and fire pits outside. A lot are empty and have closed down but there are still several restaurants open. The Indian restaurant just changed ownership and unfortunately does not match up with the previous restaurant. Will not return, did not like the food at all.
