I have been working for this company since 2020/Nov, it was a rough beginning, but for the most part come to work and do your job, prior to joining this company I had heard some horrible stories in regards to management, so I was skeptical, but to say the least my manager is very Kool and laid back and the few officers I work with are even cooler, the pay and benefits are great, not to many part time job offer you benefits so I'm grateful.
Sites are very nice, Great Mgrs. Mark Odom, Great -Admiral Trainer, Don Orcutt, Director of Operations although tough he truly cares about the Ofcrs Military Style of work, he also ensures you have all equipment, he gets nothing but high praise for his performance, Brandi is Great, Victor is Great, . Style not all but 2 Individuals that's unprofessional. Senior Ofcrs don't go to Headquarter constant employee turnover. Gilmer (New Director) great he has only started and helped our site out asap.
Challenge: To improve communication as with many organization while growing & reaching organizations goals & objectives. Site Ofcrs are not always trained as stated on their resumes. Operations Mgr-can have tendency to mess up staff pay. Improve Ratings during expansion.
Solutions: Stay in touch with Union & take great notes. Observe & Report suspicious activities constant prayer. Help out and contribute as much as possible until the change comes. The change has come & we will be better. All co. have challenges to overcome. Networking is essential. Allow site officers rate Ops Mgrs. & share with the chain of command.

Not the company some individuals make the company looks bad, also alot of officer checks were short every paid when we signed in. Alot of fishy money situation was going on. Officer was wrongly terminated, with no explanation, my DC site had alot of favoritism going on. This company really need a class action lawsuits put against all because of 3 people in management.
Worst company I ve ever work for, OperationS manager in the dc gallery area is horrible and disrespectful! They are known for not paying you on time or missed hours not being on your check
If you are prior military and don't have a Honorable discharge they WONT hire you.

Bad place to work at doing security they don't treat you right here they move you from site to site I was working at city center making good money for some reason I got push off the schedule without a reason I had to keep asking for hours then I requested a meeting with HR I recommend everyone to find somewhere else to work these people don't no how to treat or talk to you at all .

Working for this company they will screw you over. They dont care about their employees. The officers who work in all weather conditions get the bad health insurance while the Admin get the better health insurance. They have a lot of favoritism and not alot of equal opportunity especially in the southern area of VA. They will smile and lie to your face.
I parked my car in one of the facilities at 1777 N Kent St. when I went to pick up my vehicle, the garage was locked and I was told to go to the front and a security officer would let me in to the garage. The security officer was not on More
I am so shocked at how the Admiral Security Service guards behaved to me. I really am shocked they let people like this work in security and this is how their staff treat expecting mothers. I was at the Chinese Embassy Visa office with my Aunt in Washington DC. I am 8 months pregnant and there were no seats. I sat down in an empty chair as I waited to be serviced. It s was the only chair left. About ten minutes later a security guard came and screamed at me to get out of his chair. I shared with him that I was 8 months pregnant. He said quote I don t care if you are 8 months pregnant! Bring me my chair! He perceded tomake me move the chair to him and I could barley lift it. After he kicked me out of the chair and made me move it to him, he sat down at it. Other people tried to say something to him and he screamed at them too. I went to another guard and asked for the name of the rude guard. He said he can t give me his name. He also can t give me any contact info to a manager. As I stand here writing this review, I am so disgusted at their behavior. These are the people they hire to protect us.
My children were spotted walking with fishing rods ages 16 & 10 at dc wharf and was illegally detained and assaulted by admiral security officer Suoervisor Mr. Herring . My children fishing rods were stepped on and broken and my 10 year olds wrist swollen and bruised for being roughly handled by this officer .Admiral had not contacted me and it s been 2 days . I have filed charges with MPD and seeking an attorney .

This company does not give it's Virginia and Maryland Security Officers raises, they are so cheap and Arrogant as hell, also if you want to work for them try to get a job with them in Washington, D.C. they pay more because of the Union, the Union looks out for its people, but the company does have some nice working sites

This new security staff at the front desks at both of the main entrances to the apartment complex that I live in is very nasty, especially this one particular guy with braids on the side I live on and enter. Because there's only one device allowed per family in each apartment that allows a person to beep themselves in through the front entrance, even when dialing the code on the intercom in the main entrances, a person can wait for forever before the staff at the front desk allows them in and when they do, especially this aforementioned guy with the braids, they yell out very nastily and aggressively to the people that come in an accusatory manner, asking if they live there. Surely there is a better way to handle this, being that it upset my daughter, who, in spite of living here, was made to feel like a common criminal yesterday and I know exactly how she feels, as I have received the same behavior from most of this front desk staff, especially this one guy with the braids, and I have to repeatedly show him my ID, proving that I live here, even though he already knows, when I come in or pick up a package. When I asked him for his manager, he stated in a bullying tone that he is the manager and then called out to me, as if to challenge me, to go to the leasing office. I did and another girl at the front desk on this other side ordered me in a nasty way to sign in. I told her I live on the other side of the apartment complex and she scoffed and laughed and said that I still have to sign in and aggressively ordered me to enter the time in on the sheet. I refuse to let this new staff bully me and my family - especially my daughter - who just wants to come home and relax - especially after a bad day and week - not be accused of by this nasty guy with the braids, asking if she lives here, like she's some kind of criminal. The atmosphere with most of this new staff at the front desks upsets me and my family and makes us feel on guard and on edge and creates a hostile, confrontational environment that we feel uncomfortable coming home to.
My advice: keep a close eye on your check (hours displayed) & pay rates. Either know or have a copy of the Union Contract. Just ask a field rep they can email you a copy.
No one company is perfect but you received your pay check when it is due it operates fair enough do not forget. You are the company .
