Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory (LSMTL) is a government-owned laboratory established to ensure zero tolerance to building and civil engineering infrastructure collapse in Lagos State. The laboratory was established in 1961 as the first materials testing laboratory in Nigeria, and it has since been providing quality testing services for construction materials used in the state.
