Took my wife and she was so happy with everything that she got. The staff was very friendly and didn't mind when we asked questions. We will be going back.

Found this place to be overrated. Coffee's good but it's insanely crowded and the staff are somewhere between ambivalent and surly. Didn't enjoy the cupcake; way too much hazelnut.
One of the best junk food spots in DC. While it's sad that Georgetown is on its way out in terms of shopping & eateries beyond the college crowd, this is always a great spot to chill and enjoy some desserts.
Planned to eat a cupcake, get coffee, and get work done...but no wifi. Cupcake was ok. Cake is dense.
Usually there's a queue cos the cupcakes are apparently very good. I had the carrotcake with cream cheese topping and it was great!
Great barista crew - clearly proud of their work. Excellent range of roasts that rotate over the weeks. And the baked goods are sinfully delicious: about the only way to resist temptation is to wear a blindfold! I prefer to relax at one of their bistro chairs outside, but the back-area seating is both communal and inviting.
Won't go into detail but this place is great. Can get pretty busy but the food and desserts are incredible! I love the bee sting bar, the cupcakes, and the quiche in particular!
Just got to Georgetown Cupcakes. They're much better and you make a line for a reason, because they're the best
This was definitely a big step up after visiting Georgetown Cupcakes. The atmosphere was quite trendy and my brownie with raspberry swirl was very good. Would definitely go back if ever in the area.
Great cupcake shop with lots of character. The variety is awesome and the cakes are big enough for two. However the service is so-so and they are a bit on the pricey side at $3.85 per cupcake.
Espresso and cupcakes are spectacular, be sure to sit outside or get your food and drink to go and walk down the block to the waterfront.
This is indeed my favorite cupcake store. They have delish and fresh cupcakes with cute names and cozy place to chill. I love their wall covered with tissue from the customers. I hope they will add more books in the future.
Awesome cupcakes. There was a very long line for the drinks though...
We were looking for Georgetown Cupcake, when we stopped and asked some locals if they could direct us to it. They said they could tell us, but that just across the street, Baked and Wired was MUCH better. We decided we would give it a try and are so glad we did! There was a short line that moved super quickly. They were very efficient, and the prices were fair for the amount of cupcake that you get. I tried the Vanilla Vanilla, and the Carrot Cake. Absolutely amazing and delicious!
Nice food and coffee, but 25% too expensive. $3 for a regular size cookie is crazy; it was good, but it should have been gold-plated for that price.
Dont go to Georgetown cupcakes! Baked & Wired is THE place for amazing cupcakes!
Line moved very quickly, all of the employees were wearing masks, and they were all very nice!!
Solid spot for coffee and a biscuit with nice sitting room. My kinda cafe spot!
The best cupcakes in all of the DMV. The Cherry Blossom cupcakes are seasonal (during Cherry Blossom season) but are well worth the wait! They have plenty of other flavors to hold you off until then. Highly recommend!!
Whenever I am in the DC area I stop by here. Love the cupcakes and there service. I recommend everyone try the strawberry cupcake, that is a must have for me.
Excellent cupcakes. They even have gluten free for those with wheat issues.
Delicious
I hope you don't just eat the taste that you always ate
Always a lovely stop in Foggy Bottom! I got the carrot cake and my partner got the strawberry. Both were wonderful the strawberry was REALLY sugary but hey, it s a cupcake. Definitely worth the price for the size of these things and their amazing taste. We did not stay in to eat, but there was a good amount of seating in the back with a super cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff as well!
I can t remember the last time I had cupcakes that were that good.
They have good coffees and cakes. Trendy. Sometimes too difficult to get a seat though.
Great spot to grab a cupcake and coffee. They have different coffee beans each day that are used for pour over and for espresso, and you can select which bean you d like them to use in your drink.
The coffee was good but a poor selection of alternative milk & no WiFi. What coffee shop in the universe has no WiFi? Especially if your name is "Wired". In Colorado we usually have Hemp, Coconut, Soy & Almond Milks in both sweetened & non sweet. ???
These cupcakes are delicious. It's often crowded, but it's worth the wait. Much better than Georgetown cupcakes down the street. There some space to eat inside, but this is mostly a carry out place.
Awesome coffee shop and sweets bakery. Went here after a fine meal at Reverie for a little more on the sweet side. The coffee shop is awesome. It s as hipster as it gets but in the best, unpretentious way. I had a Burundi pour over and talked with the manager while he prepped it really cool guy who knew his stuff. He was passionate about his craft too. The cupcakes and biscotti were excellent as well.
Best cupcake in Georgetown!
Try the pistachio one it is so yummy!
Chocolate cup cake was pretty good.
But red velvet was soo sweet.
I recommend you mexico? Chocolate cupcake.
I went on sunday, it was rush. I waited almost 15 mins
The location is a bit of a headache to get to, during high traffic hour, yet we'll worth the Excedrin. This is one of the most creative and unique bakeries on the east coast. Must try the "Oh My God", if I could, I would give it stars.
Best cupcakes in DC! I like the variety of flavors and their homemade marshmallows. The spot gets super busy but it's worth the wait, even on sweltering hot days or chilly winter mornings (I've stood through both!). Seating can be tricky because of the size of the spot, but during off hours you can grab a counter seat or an outdoor spot. A must stop if you're in town!
Don't get caught up in the TV hype of other cupcakes in and around Washington, DC, Baked and Wired has the best cupcakes. Different flavors and all are large and just the right moistness. They have other amazing baked goods. I am not a coffee drinker but people seem to love their coffee as well. There is some seating and there is almost always a line. But it is well worth it.
Some of the best cupcakes in DC are created here. Beats Sprinkles, Georgetown, Crumbs, and a few more that I have tried. Plus they are not tiny cupcakes like the ones you get at most shops. Worth the money!!!!! I have been going here for cupcakes for 5 years after I stumbled upon it after leaving Georgetown Cupcakes.
Skip the more popular cupcake spot on M Street and visit Baked & Wired for a far superior dessert. Delicious cupcakes and baked goods on offer. Vegan and Gluten free versions available. Best coffee drinks in the city!
Service wasn't the best. Didn't get all my cupcakes
Definitely a good stop for bakery lovers. I would probably say it's more of a cupcake shop, but there isn't anything wrong with that. The shop and seating are nice and cupcakes delicious. They have very zealous winged waiters outside. They cleaned every crumb practically before they hit the ground! They truly gave me the royal treatment.
Great coffee and cupcakes. It's the homemade version of GT Cupcakes. The cakes are bigger and the coffee's awesome. A great way to start a Sunday morning in the District.
Darn good macchiato! Miss it already. The iced coffee was very good as well!
Love this place. This is a proper bakery and they have a gluten free option (my niece is a Coeliac). Everything they do is good and the line is out the door. Grab a drink as well as a sweet treat and enjoy in or whilst having a walk around Georgetown.
Cool place to go grab some cupcakes, cookies or just an overpriced coffee
This place is SO good! I got several different flavors and they all were fantastic. I recommend the mint Oreo cupcake, a personal favorite. The service during COVID-19 was excellent and organized. Will be going back soon, thank you Baked And Wired!
Extremely disappointed in my order and embarrassed to tell people what I paid for it. Unappealing AND dry.
I love their cookies and coffee, but a bit overpriced and the layout of the seating could be better.
Cute coffee shop and bakery. I had an ice cream sandwich and it was so amazing! The service was great and the vibe of the lounge area was super laid back.
Place has a line out the door at 5pm on a Saturday. Super popular spot.
A great place to come and sit with a lovely cup of coffee and a good book. One of my favorites in the city.
Friendly staff and amazing donut-muffin and tea, lovely place to have a relaxing snack.
This place had the cutest shop and the best baked goods! This was a highlight to my trip to DC.
Best cupcakes in the city!! Going anywhere else is a waste of money and time!
Very courteous staff, happening place. The cupcakes however were a bit dense.
They make lattes the way one expects - like a food group unto itself : )
Nice that they have fresh water on tap for the taking, and interesting seating throughout the place.
Had the pistachio cupcake...it was substantial with nice homemade cake texture. The icing was ok - a little on the sweet side, but since the cupcake itself wasn't overrun with sugar, it paired well.
Great cupcakes and coffee. Staff was also great but the place is really small anf always crowded.
The taste is ok. They gave me a wrong order.
NONE of the pieces were what I ordered. I jumped on a flight now I even cannot return them.
This place is an awesome spot to get a tasty pastry and cup of coffee. The store is a little awkward because you pay for the baked goods and the coffee separately; this is not a negative just different. The iced latte was okay but the nitro cold brew was phenomenal. If you are visiting the Georgetown area definitely check this place out. There is seating inside and also restrooms.
Aliens are real! And this coffee shop/bakery is amazing.
Best cupcake I've had in the DMV area. Loved supporting this local business
The cupcakes are phenomenal! BETTER THAN GEORGETOWN CUPCAKE! There are also yummy non-cupcake options, some gluten-free options for those looking, and delicious drinks. Be forewarned that this popular place often has a line down the sidewalk.
I'm calling out the other cupcakeries in DC. They are not close, not even 25% as good, as the cupcakes at Baked and Wired. Please try the dirty chai cupcake. It was my first Baked and Wired experience and my tastebuds were shook. And then get the dirty chai drink because that is also delicious.
Love the different espresso bean options and that they offer cortados. Cupcakes are solid but overpriced.
While everyone is in line at Georgetown Cupcakes, come here for a better (and bigger) cupcake, plus some decent coffee.
Best cake cups in DC hands down. Don't even try to go anywhere else. If you want a cupcake go here, don't question it. Just go. Like now.
Very good place with a wide variety of cupcakes. They are big. You will definitely have a dilemma choosing one!! Tastes great too.
Best cupcakes in GEORGETOWN hands down!!! Strawberry has real strawberries in the batter n the size.. OMG. If your visiting it's a must visit.
Their cupcakes are moist and large in size. There could be more frosting on them for as much as you pay. They have creative flavors on the menu. Each flavor is a different kind of party in your mouth. The cupcakes are above average quality but not the best ever. I personally think they could add more solid flavors that are less whimsical. Overall, the cafe was a hipster vibe going for it. Staff is friendly. But, the coffee itself seems overpriced for the average quality.
Conjoined cupcakery and coffeeshop. The matcha latte was pretty good and not too sweet
Baked and Wired is always the best. Every time I go. Best food, best workers, best drinks, best atmosphere. It's always a delight!
