Fast WiFi, affordable place to work on your own stuff downtown, but get there early if you want a seat. It seems like they've oversold their community space. A lot of phone calls happen in open spaces, etc. Getting close to too full to concentrate.

This is the heart of the tech district in downtown San Antonio. There is a super relaxed start up vibe that just floods the surrounding area. Everyone here is super positive and open to talking about their work. Love it. It's a great place to get feedback on business ideas, get trainings and also make use of a co working space. Amazing, highly recommend.

I just canceled my membership, too. I agree that the place is pretty bro-y. It's so crowded that there is literally no place to sit sometimes, so I had to work out of the library down the street. FYI, canceling your membership takes 30 days notice. So I am being charged for a month I won't be using. That is SO scammy. It didn't take 30 days for them to start taking my money. They took my money right away. But it takes 30 days for them to stop taking my money? A total scam to get another month out of you! How gross!

Geekdom is a great cooperative work space to be apart of. As I switched from being a full-time web developer to being part of a true start-up, the friendships and connections I made at Geekdom are invaluable. I highly recommend for anyone interested in learning how they can plug-into San Antonio's growing tech community to drop by and take a tour. Come get your geek on!

Out of several coworking places visited across the Southeastern United States, Geekdom blew them all out of the water. The community is fantastic, the crazy amount of quality events they put on is fantastic, the location is ideal (right in the middle of downtown - you can walk/bike along the riverwalk right up to the front door). The price point compared to other coworking places is INSANELY good. Basically this is the standard to compare all other coworking places by, I'd say.

Excellent shared office space, and the staff is friendly and active in trying to better it. Lots of construction in and around the building, but that's not really their fault. Plenty of parking and worth using if you're in the area.

Love this place! Came here a few times for a weekly meetup before finally deciding to purchase a membership. Since then, I've made so much progress in my business. Being in a space with other entrepreneurs is invaluable and there's no where else in San Antonio where you can find the same type of atmosphere that you do at Geekdom. Besides the atmosphere, I love that the space is 24-7, the amount of community events they hold every week, and free coffee always on deck.

This is probably the best workplace in Texas. The internet alone us worth the membership or office rent. Lots of events, awesome atmosphere. The only real negatives are that parking is expensive (compared to the suburbs) and the AC and exhaust fans in the mens rooms have been broken more than 90% of the last 2 years.

Depending on who you meet as well as your personal niche, you could have a great time here or a horrible time. I experienced the latter....From a total stranger interupting me while I was speaking to another person, all the way to another marketer blatantly walking up from out of nowhere in an attempt to try and steal my prospect at the SAME TIME I AM INTERVIEWING said prospect for potential business.....Outrageous? Yes, and extremely unprofessional to say the least. He even had the balls to hand my prospect his cheesy business card as Im sitting there looking right at him. Of course, he ignored my presence. He was too busy trying to steal my prospect which I never got as a customer...."Is this really happening?" was all I could think at the time... If you go there, my advice is to make sure you watch your back and DONT trust every person you meet no matter how kind they may appear to be. For the majority, it seems everyone is out for themselves, even if it is at YOUR peril. All in all, I won't ever be signing up to come back to this place. I used to have a positive outlook towards people, but because of my experiences from Geekdom in San Antonio, I am EXTREMELY wary of everyone now. I see a degree of deception in every person now....as if they're waiting to take advantage of me in anyway they can.... If this place is an indication of our present society in America, then allow me to be the first to hop on a plane to Holland (and never look back)! I expected more out of this place. It has profoundly disappointed me and my expectations for any team projects, ideas I have, etc. - I will stick to hiring people from india and china via online websites as they are more trustworthy than people I found at Geekdom San Antonio.

Geekdom is the go to co-working staple in San Antonio. Massive facility, and massive community compared to more intimate spaces around town. Open 24 hours and located near lots of great food and downtown amenities, it's a great place to anchor your freelance business or even a small team in the shared space. Once you outgrow that, they have dedicated office options available, which my employer used for a couple of years before we even outgrew that, but that's a good problem to have.

Love the place - just not for me at this time. While I'm a computer programmer, and Geekdom is a great place to network, learn, and learn to start a business, it is primarily focused on software startups. At this time I need more hardware oriented support. Seriously, these guys are great!

Build. Make. Learn. Love. Play. Geekdom has got it all. The collaborative culture makes it easy to get access to the experience of other members which I have found an invaluable resource. What I love most is that Geekdom offers the infrastructure and space for awesome things to happen and the community (YOU!) builds the culture.

Really loved the location in the heart of downtown with parking conveniently located next to the building. Courses are very informative from basic knowledge to the most complex of ideas. Everyone is welcome and the seminars are free. I encourage anyone who is wanting to start their own business to attend these free seminar.

Geekdom is a great collaborative place. The introduction is very throrough and explains almost everything they focus on. Since they are a startup incubator, almost everyone is focused on their work since they pay for the membership, but they are very helpful when asked. The key is to find out from the front desk who is there that can help you with your concern and seek them out. As another viewer commented that she found it unhelpful, she did not have a real name nor did she understand that in the business world, you have to actively seek out help instead of waiting for it to come to you. There are plenty of places for teaching opportunities and I think they do something like a hundred meetuos and events a month where you can learn so much on such a variety of topics so I think a one star review is simply from someone who has the wrong expectations and is ignorant of all the events and opportunites there. Great place for collaborative help on a tech startup including legal, security, data , and many other firms located there.

It's a great place to go and meet people interested in all kinds of tech. Fun and informative presentations about current tech, howtos, trends and startup info. They have grand plans for the future and really focused on building a great tech presence in SA.

I was an original member, have been going on and off since it opened in the Weston in 2011. It finally got too bro filled for me, i.e. pushups in the common area and all that BS, that I left. Parking is inconvenient and the atmosphere the place fosters is not for me.
