Liked it, but didn't love it. I got an Americano, and it came out quickly, but didn't have the deep, dark flavor I like to get from those. The atmosphere and buildout are good, but in Verizon I did not have any cell service, fwiw. Great Georgetown location, but at the end of the day the coffee was so-so. Very cool staff, though.

Overrated, over priced and not enough seats!!! Cupcakes had way more frosting than cake and the brownies could use more time in the over because the one i tried was definitely undercooked. The cookies were not that bad. Nothing special here.

So good! Found this spot after having dinner in Georgetown. We had the cookie ice cream sandwich and a red velvet cupcake. Really tasty and definitely recommend this place over Georgetown cupcakes when visiting DC.

These cupcakes are absolutely fantastic! However, the young woman in the Bob Marley shirt operating the register this evening was unbearably rude for no apparent reason. I cannot for the life of me imagine why someone who has no desire, or perhaps ability to be friendly and kind would be in a frontline position dealing with customers.

I didn't know what a real cupcake was until Baked & Wired hit me in the face like a hundred puppies flying in on unicorns. It's that good.

Everything is delicious here. The customer service, the premium ingredients, the cozy seating area where you can read and lounge*, the parchment the cakes are wrapped in, and the clever names of each treat.

Skip the competition and get acquainted with Baked & Wired.

*Besides, if anyone asks what you're up to this weekend, you can simple say "I'm getting Baked & Wired."

Great place for a coffee and a cupcake. I recommend trying the dirty chai, which they tend to only have in Fridays. The cafe is always excellent and the beans they use are always changing. The only negative is the crowds and difficultly getting in on the weekends.

Tasty cupcakes, a vanilla cake with weak tasting coconut-vanilla frosting and coconut shavings should not be called a coconut cupcake. Overall better than Georgetown cupcakes, due to lighter, fluffier cakes and frosting.

I stumbled into Charles Town and stumbled into it. I guess it's a famous store to come later to write reviews.
The store was pretty and the pastry products were also good. It was nice to have their own menus that are not common to see in a wide variety of varieties. (It's funny because the name is unique.) It's not a regular bakery, but it sells coffee like a cafe. On the side of the store I sell beans, such as beans and tumblers.

<Reference> American confectionery bakery products are shorter than Korea. American butter cream in the first place because it uses more sugar than Swiss or Italian. The taste was so sweet compared to the pretty shape, and the bread was just plain.>

I just accidentally visit here while I look around Charles Town. Now I see this pastry shop looks lot more than I thought.
The shop looks great and the pastries look great. There is a variety of cupcakes and I love it because they have their own style. (Name of cupcakes funny also) This is not just pastry shop, so they are selling coffees like a cafe. There is a goods shop inside of the shop.

Such a great stop when in D.C.! Coffee was excellent and the cupcakes were, again, awesome!! Got a bag of the granola to take home!! The canal is being worked on so the vibe is a bit different, nonetheless, it is worth the visit.

I adore this place! My boyfriend and I made the joke that we would visit DC just for these cupcakes. My first time in and the line was rather long, but the place is really tiny. I had the GF chocolate strawberry cupcake and can easily say that was one of the finest cupcakes Ive ever had.
My only criticism would be that people didn't seem to be order in the order they had arrived in. As we ordered ahead of others standing in front of us, which may be why the line was long. Regardless, really experience! Very cute, well designed, incredibly flavorful, and great options.

Good

I travel to DC and the Foggy Bottom/Georgetown area on a regular basis. This is my only destination for coffee. Cold Brew or Americano with a rotating selection of the best espressos to choose from. The baked goods are outstanding. Biscuits, coffee cakes and of course, cupcakes for later.

I ve loved this place for years, and whenever I m in the DC area or have friends visiting, I always insist on a stop here. The coffee is delicious and if you have a sweet tooth, the cupcakes are a must. I ve had a good amount of the flavors over the years but always find my way back to the Presley (banana flavored muffin with peanut butter frosting and a chocolate drizzle). I knocked off a star because the staff on the bakery side were very curt and rude. This was a first but needs to be noted.

The cupcakes are inventive and delicious! The coffee and lattes are also very good. The place is a little small, so eating/drinking inside can be problematic. Besides that, definitely worth stopping by.

Just had a brownie here which blew my tiny little mind - imagine a full-on Trainspotting style intravenous heroine shot of a brownie. Everything you ever wanted in a hard drugs experience but without the needles and homelessness. Phenomenal.

My favorite DC cupcake shop! Absolutely worth the wait in line and they have done an awesome job opening their shop with safely in light of covid. The cider-chai is so unique and the razmanian devil is the best!

Love this place! It's off the beaten path and not as constantly crowded as some other cupcake places in Georgetown. They have a large selection of cupcakes and baked goods. The cupcakes are more cake than frosting, which is great for those that don't like all the frosting. The coffeeshop attached is delicious as well! I prefer their espresso to most other places. The backrooms are generally crowded with people, but the canal nearby is a great place to sit on a nice day.

The place was busy when we went. Line was outside the door. From other reviews it also mentioned that there is always a wait. I tried two different cup cakes. They were good but not the best i had before.

The cakecups are very good but Baked and Wired is not following proper protocol for Covid19. On April 25th Neither of the two women serving the cakecups had on a mask. Only one woman was wearing gloves. I messaged the establishment twice inquiring about this health violation. They have not responded, so I feel this is note worthy.

Want cupcakes but don't want to wait in a 30 minute line (...like Georgetown Cupcakes)?

Come to Baked & Wired instead! They have so many different flavors and cute names for their flavors also. My favorite will always be Red Velvet from here.

They might have a line out the door on a nice day but it moves really quickly! They have a separate area if you just want a coffee/drink. Super efficient. There's tons of seating inside as well if you just want to relax.

Best sweets in the DC area, though the music that was playing was horrifying. The 'B', 'F', and 'N' words were just flying. At the same time, kids were eating cupcakes. This location is not suitable for kids.

I was excited to get dinner late at night, dreaming about going to eat. Excellent service to you. The dining place was guaranteed to have a fantastic job during the covid. That made us so excited about it. Not the first cupcaker we've been to, but they're certainly
