Zero stars if possible.. Their return policy is a joke, if you open the item they won't return it. How are you supposed to try an item without opening the box. Do yourself a favor and buy from somewhere else where they care about customer satisfaction

The worst online shopping experience i had so far,...

The worst online shopping experience i had so far, i ordered couple of items online at the end of Nov 2018 and the order was showing 2 different shipment, one i received a week after and the second one was wrong tracking number and i never received.
I have contacted their customer service multiple times and the answer was to wait for a month to see if i didnt receive it then they can refund or send it again.
After waiting for a month i contacted them again and they promised to send it with fastest shipping method they have available, the new tracking number been showing for the last 10 days that the parcel hasn t been picked up yet.
So basically i been waiting for my order for more than 40 days!!! I am really disappointed with this kind of the customer service

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Traded in some old camera equipment for a great price. Turned around and bought a few items. Had to call in to use my trade in discount, but the person I spoke to was professional, kind, and courteous. Item's shipped near immediately. Extremely satisfied. Thank you.

These guys are doing a GREAT job during the pandemic. They are the go-to 100%. I'm video-teaching my University Business School classes from home, and got into the home-studio thing. B&H is getting goods to my front door here in Manhattan within 72 hours FedEx. Incredibly reliable with six orders now. Want to update an order? Customer Service gets back to you fast and gets it done, even now during the pandemic. Never has this kind of gear from ethernet cable to mics to booms to lighting been more important to the conduct of business. B&H is delivering. Can't recommend this enterprise too highly.

I usually like to give people and companies the benefit of the doubt and forgo leaving negative feedback over minor issues but B&H screwed up pretty badly. I placed an online pick up order for a $22 UV filter. When I arrived at the store the staff couldn't find it. Ok, things happen, no worries. I waiting on two different lines for 30 minutes while they searched high and low for it. After a half hour I asked the rep assisting me to refund the online pick up order and they agreed. I went upstairs, found the same UV filter, purchased it and was on my way 10 minutes later. Good stuff! Too bad Customer Service made me wait a half hour to resolve something I was able to do myself in 10. Before leaving I asked that same CS rep to make sure the online order would be refunded and they confirmed that a refund was already being processed. Two weeks later and no refund. I just called CS and they're investigating. Thankfully it's only a $22 filter. Keep the money - I'm more annoyed about the wasted time and poor customer service.

This is not a shop. This is the paradise of photographers and videomakers.
I always dreamt about visiting this place, as i continuously fill up a basket on their web site; so i had to buy something...
You can see entire rows of any kind of article... hundreds of tripods, tons of batteries, dozens of photo printers, regiments of bags.... and there is also a huge used equipment section. You have to take queue tickets for anything, but you will be served quickly and you will see your real basket, with your gifts, running on the ceiling to the quickdrop section, just after the battery of POS. It's like a wonderland.

I have been a B&H customer for ten years. I shop both at the store and online, from big ticketed items to small ones such as SD card.

Great customer service. No problem reaching an agent who was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Their prices are from reasonable to competitive. Please note that there are lots of fake memory cards out there. Get the genuine stuff from B&H. Recommended vendor.

Everything for photographers in this amazing Disneyland of photo and video stuff! They have expanded to offer other electronics so since J&R went out of business they have become my go to B&M store form all electronics while in NYC. It is very difficult to bit their prices and the very attentive service and advice from their knowledgeable sales professionals.

Competitive for local prices and a great return policy!
If you need camera help definitely wait to speak to someone on the second floor and you can call up any lenses/accessories you want to attach to your personal camera or one you're interested in.
They took months to fully deliver a very expensive and multi item order. When checking their website, items were "in stock" and had to remind them I was still waiting for items
Great to buy a few items, wouldn't for bigger packages

One of my favorite photography and electronics store, the staff has always been very helpful answering questions and demonstrating the features of the equipment in which I was interested when I have visited the store in person when visiting NYC. I find their prices to be very competitive and their customer support service to be very efficient. I also like the efficiency of their online ordering system, and the promptness the orders are processed.

I got here just when it was opening and there was a line of 20 people outside. I asked what the line was for, and everyone just said it was always like this. This place is great, but I gave four stars for two reasons. First, it is too expensive. You can find better deals on the internet. Second, the staff are very in your face. Non-stop questions about whether or not they can help you.

COMPUTER/LAPTOP BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGE. When purchasing the laptop the sales associate on the floor was very patient, informative, and all around helpful but at no point did he mention that I would not be able to return the item. Again at checkout, the cashier at no point mentioned that I would not be able to return the item. In less than a week I return to B&H to exchange the laptop for something better. In the return/exchange part of the store the agent was very rude. Just a nasty attitude when telling us that I could not return or exchange the laptop. I tried to explain to him that it would be helpful if the store would post a notice to customers about the policy, But he didn't seem interested in any kind of "customer feedback". Needless to say, they have lost a customer.

Been coming here for for along time now! The customer service is hit or miss but everyone is super knowledgeable. They keep a tremendous amount of inventory onsite do a good job of managing the crowds here during peak hours!

I have ordered multiple items over the past few years and I am always satisfied. My last order had a couple of broken items, as an online retailer myself I know that happens, I emailed a picture on a Sunday, they replied within a couple of hours and my replacements were shipping to me on Monday. My replacement arrived in perfect condition. One order was for an item I could not locate on their website, because I was not sure what to call it. I emailed, described it and they quickly replied with a link to the item. You don't know if a place is good/bad until something goes wrong or you need assistance finding something and they scored 5 stars on both accounts.

This place is very cool... cutting edge and modern. Help is available in every department and the returns are what I would call reasonable and fair.

They will leave you alone if you just want to browse. Can get crowded frequently especially arou d holiday time.

I never had a problem here.

If you haven't been there yet and are in new york city...check it out.

best store and customer service ever! Bernard in the camera dept is awesome! I first went to Bernard to buy my Nikon D850 then went back twice to get 2 Tamron lenses and thanks to Bernards advice they are phenomenal.

DO NOT do any business with the used department. The checks they send you will bounce, which according to your bank is on you. Then you get the pleasure of getting screamed at on the phone but an absolute lunatic. I learned my lesson, hopefully you've learned yours.

Very fun store. I stayed there for hours just playing around with all the electronics. There's just so much in one place! The employees are also very nice and friendly and know everything what they're talking about. They are very useful I finding the right product for me. Highly recommend this place if you are considering in making a purchase of any electronic.

I referred a family member to your company. And his first phone call experience was horrible. He was planning on spending a significant amount of money with your company but because if the lack of customer service he received it s your loss. He was trying to purchase some professional equipment and was asking questions and seeking guidance. But the person who answered his call was rude, sarcastic and rushed. If your customer service persons wish not to provide customer service then maybe that is not the job for them. I will no longer refer your company because I do not believe in telling people good things only to get treated horribly.

I had ordered several items online but couldn't decide in a back pack and if a converter would work with my camera and lens set up. I was in the city today and went to the store. I had forgotten how large it was. As I was looking lost among the backpacks the sales manager came over. Started to help me. Took the bag over to the camera counter so another associate could provide all the gear I have at home and show me how it would all fit. Then the associate also took the converter tested it with my camera and lens set up. They took time, were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. A lit of businesses could use this as an example of what customer service is and should be.

Please read before making a purchase. I ordered the sigma 70-200 2.8 plus a 1.4 TC and a few other small accessories before heading out for a trip to Yosemite. It was a little last minute and I had to overnight the order to get it before my trip. When it arrived I was ... extremely disappointed to find they had sent me a cannon mount. I immediately called customer service and they said they were sorry for my trouble, but they would not reimburse me for the overnight postage. I scrambled, found a local store and purchased a used Nikon version of this lens for cheaper. After returning from my trip I printed the RMA and found it had a ten day deadline (which is different from their website which says 30 days) it also says they do not pay for return postage. Their website says to ship it "via insured ground service with a tracking number". To properly insure this with tracking it cost me an added 40 dollars. ( since they are not responsible for lost or damaged items i felt i should fully insure it. ) So at the end of the day I payed ninety-eight dollars to have the wrong lens overnighted to me and shipped back. I'm sorry B&H but from now on I'm going to shop local. There is no excuse for me to have to pay ~100 dollars for something that was your mistake. And yes I did review my receipt and the shipping invoice they all said Nikon mount but the lens was a cannon mount.

I had previously ordered from B&H and they did a great job with my order and the delivery of the content. However, I wish I could say the same about this experience. If timeliness and customer service are a priority to you, B&H is not the place to shop. I placed my order 4/24, and paid for standard shipping to have it arrive by 4/27. When my package did not arrive (it was also shipped through FedEx and was a high-quality item WITHOUT a signature required) promptly on the 27th, I verified through the tracking number that it "was delivered to the front door." I wrote a concerned email to which they responded that a claim would have to be put in with the carrier (FedEx) which would take 5 business days; if the carrier had no success in finding my product that I paid for, then B&H would send me an affidavit to fill out and send back and then FINALLY either refund my money or replace the lost product. B&H's customer service response to this has been very casual and poor.

Their prices are great but not worth the stress and poor customer service and waste of time. Very disappointing. Highly advise going somewhere else for your product even if the price is a little more--you might have a better chance at finding your paid product or getting a refund than you would with B&H.
