Ayres Hotel & Suites Ontario Review

Friendly staff with excellent customer service. Loved our experience!

I was worried about having a smoking room but the suite exceeded my expectations..The cable service wasn't the best but the room made up for it along with being close to the mall and other shopping centers.The mattress was amazing and my son had no complaints about the sofa bed!

The pillow gave me a rash on neck... the coffee maker was crap... the shower head was broken... will not be staying here again.

Place is clean beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast was adaquet, it would be nice to have apples and bananas and yogart added. But all in all I would stay here again. Airport transport was s bonus too!

The bathroom tub was plugged. The drain needed work. There was a big hunk of hair on the bathroom shower curtain. The room was nice and quiet. The ladies at the front desk were really nice to me.

Staying here is always a great experience. However, this particular stay we had a very boisterous family above us with people jumping up and down for hours before they were asked to move. In the morning, the noise resumed.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast during the week is better than what they put out for the weekend visitors. Overall a good place to stay if you're in the area.

Hotel Staff is very nice. Fireplace in lobby area was not working. It would have been nice to have a fire going while we had a glass of wine. Rooms were clean. Hall carpeting could be replaced but I believe they were in the stages of replacing all carpet. Huge mall within walking distance and any restaurant you can imagine.

Nice hotel. Room is nice and clean. Would stay here again.

The complimentary breakfast was amazing great job. The pool was nice the only issue was my daughter and other teammates who were in the pool had a lot of cuts on the bottom of their feet from the floor of the pool someone should look at that. I also forgot to add my rewards card to get the points from my stay. But other then that I will be visiting this hotel again in the future. Rolando was the best.

It is a nice budget hotel. Guest service is friendly and they offer breakfast and happy hour.

Overall stay was great; a little disappointing with Breakfast but the one person we saw seemed to be a little overwhelmed in keeping things full as to Coffee, juice, refilling the waffle batter, etc. Staff when we arrived were very accommodating and we greatly appreciated their assistance; would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Very clean, large rooms that smelt good. Very comfortable bed and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Only stayed one night but it we a great night. Booked the Executive Suite and it was more than what I expected, the best thing about it was the pillow top king bed, the best sleep I have gotten in a long long time.

Bath tub did not drain after shower. Could use more seating for breakfast and another trash bin. People did not know where to dispose of their trash and left item on counter and tables.

First time staying and will definitely return with next business trip. Did not know there was van service though. Would have liked to use it.

This hotel was a nice experience.. The complementary breakfast was nice and the staff was nice as well and very professional when it came to making your experience great.

Everything was Great ,the tidy up crew was phenomenal ,always smiling ,very clean establishment ,anything extra ask for was brought to me ,no attitude or judgment. staff wonderful, management is supreme, friendly kind , you can tell they enjoy their job very polite well-mannered,ask myself if my stay was well and if there was anything I needed?.. how my day was going? .. would have given five stars but due to a desperate need of remodel just a little renovating, uplift,you know a little BOTOX for the lips, kind of thing..light .surgery make life breath back into the amazing location for a peaceful hotel.. the bathrooms retiled with granite or tile not fiberglass and really just the lights and a place for USB plug-ins for the new modern phones there was not one of the room two rooms I stayed in didn't forget your portcharger. Other than the Reed model is amazing very good time definitely go back to stay again thank you everyone for amazing stay God bless..... help somebody else smile... Just me

The location is right across the street to the ontario mall! Within walking distance! The hotel sees older, but the customer service was jus wonderful! Pool was down for some type of remodeling, but they let utilize the pool ect door at their sister property. They offered free continental breakfast that served waffles, Oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, bagels, and toast. In the evenings they offered little appetizers and ordourves. They had complimentary coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby as well as ice lemon water. The staff was so friendly and accomadating. The rooms seemed outdated, but that comes with an older hotel. Overall the hotel was clean and organized. Reallly enjoyed the hot tub and pool area. Pool towels were provided l. Shower had hot water with great water pressure. Room was spacious and comfy. Cable TV provided in rooms as well as free wifi. Overall an amazing stay. Thank you Aryes!

The rooms seemed worn down and dingy. There was little lighting in the room. The carpets looked dirty. A power outlet was not readily available near nightstand. The shower was the absolute worse. Barley "spit" water out and couldn't get clean with the lack of water pressure.
The pro was that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room.
There was a large breakfast buffet including hot and cold items.

Kinda old air conditioner did not work on the 2nd floor lobby

The inn and suites building is right next door to the suites building, and they are separate businesses, so don't try to check in to the suites if you're at the inn. The staff is helpful. Rooms were decent; refrigerator and microwave included. Also complimentary hot breakfast. Parking is no problem. The inn is close to the freeway and close to the Ontario mills fashion district mall.

The pool was below average. The breakfast was above average. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall excellent location.

Great quality suits, nice facilities and friendly staff. I came back to my hotel room while it was being cleaned and everything was being bleached, pillow cases and bed sheets were being changed and towels replaced, some things that certain hotels will skip from time to time. Continental breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but sufficient.

Just average hotel. Nothing to highlight. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I have slept at.

We always have a great stay at this hotel. The manager is great and always accommodates our needs. This time the power went out in our room,. the clerk tried everything to get it back on and was going to change our room. She finally got it back on, so we didn't have to change.

The only concern I have, I always have a hard time to connect to the WiFi and most of the time I can't even connect, when I ask the front desk employees they they telling me that they have the same problem, you should have a simple way to connect. I understand that the WiFi is included with the stay.
I hope next week end when I check in that will be fixed.

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff. The breakfast is actually quite good.

Great location, lots of shopping & restaurants. Hotel is okay, served the purpose...next time I will try Ayres Suites next door. Room was very clean but the hallways were plain, beige walls...seemed sparse. The air conditioning was very loud whether you want heat/air...couldn't sleep-turned it off. Enough space in the parking lot but cab of a semi parked across several spaces...maybe own lot would be better. One morning, vagrant women getting bottles out of hotel trash. Ayres Suites vs. Ayres Inn & Suites seemed better.

Reserved 2 rooms for a thurs/fri. stay. My room was very nice and everything was in order. The room my sisters had was a bit different. No lamps were plugged in and a few other things made it seem as if the room were put together quickly. Both room keys for my sisters room went bad. One of the keys for my room also went bad. (bad as in would not open door)

For the rate we received the stay was good, however if the price was normal rate there would have been some problem. A decent $100/night room.

Very pleasant experience. Any concerns handled quickly, and rooms were quiet.

Excellent location, we have been staying here for the past five years and have recommend to others who now also stay. We fly over from Australia to go to the NHRA race in Pomona and the hotel is always clean and ready for us to go to our room.

We enjoyed our stay very much. When we came into our room for the very first time it was nice and cool. The air conditioning was on...and that pleases my husband a lot (since its not warm and stuffy). Our king size bed was very comfortable. We liked that we had a microwave and mini refrigerator, also. Our room was clean the next day also. Good cleaning service!!!

Cost-effective, the attachment is a shopping center, very convenient

Easy walk to local shops and restaurants even though it was 100 degrees in September

Let's go down the list:

1st they said the package we paid extra for online was no longer valid and they couldn't help with anything.

2nd they said the manager would be in on Saturday to talk to us. This was a lie because apparently he was off until Monday.

3rd the shower had no water pressure. My long haired lady could not comfortably wash her hair since the pressure was so low.

4th they have a shuttle that's supposed to pick you up never showed up and they never bothered to call. When we walked to the hotel and told them to cancel the shuttle since we ended up walking to the hotel the driver said "I waited there" we told him we were directly outside for 45 minutes and didn't see him so his response was to shrug with a side smirk

5th pillows were so broken down we ended up going to Target to buy our own.

6th bed was not flush to headboard so there was about a 2.5 inch gap pillows would fall inbetween. But the bed also couldn't be moved so no way to eliminate the gap.

7th pool was not that clean and had the green ring growing around the edge.

8th the Jacuzzi... Oh dear Lord the Jacuzzi ... it was so bad it needed it's own entry. My lady was foolish enough to enter this thing. First the water is so stagnant it smelled after starting the jets. Second we thought the spa was green in color ... nope the spa was full of algae. Oh and her legs were burning after getting out.

Excellent hotel...clean, modern, friendly and helpful staff.

Prices in this mall simply and simply leave you speechless super cheap and all brand stores are concentrated in that place

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel while vacationing. Clean hotel, helpful and friendly staff and awesome buffet breakfast bar for guest.

We loved our stay. Great location, friendly staff, very nice breakfast. The only negative is the A/C smelled of mildew when it was on.

The room was rather old for $ 175 a night. There was no blue tooth hook up for phones the lighting was bad. One light didnt work at all. The air conditioning unit is old and loud and smelled. There were plastic cups instead of glasses in the room. I was disappointed. The microwave was old and coffee pot was dirty. I also placed the do not disturb card in the door and and cleaning staff came in and made the beds and moved our suit cases ?.. but didn't dump the trash or vaccum and they took our waters out refrigerator. I want ever stay there again.

I stay at this hotel regularly for work. It's consistently clean and the staff is friendly. It's a pretty good hot breakfast, too.

Everything was wonderful during my stay!! Easy check-in and very nice service. Superb on the customer service and felt at home with the good vibes that they gave.

Made reservation online. Got to hotel, told Christopher our name and checked us in. Great-not, turns out we were supposed to be next door and were charged twice. Not to mention shower wasn't working properly, the room smelled like the carpet was just cleaned and not dry. The breakfast was stingy with food keeping very small amounts of food. More than likely won't be staying there again.

Rooms are about average. Microwave and fridge in all rooms, very close proximity to mall. Front desk is nice. Monday-Thursday they have happy hour during the evening, worth checking out.

The hotel was fine. Loved the size of the room. The T.V. had issues. I couldn't watch the Opening of the Winter Olympics since the channel was receiving bad reception.

They wouldn't price match online prices and didn't let me cancel my reservation.

The hotel is beautiful, inside and out. It was indeed an elevated stay in my book. The morning breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The afternoon snack and drinks were on point, and everyone on staff was friendly and very helpful. There were an awful lot of airline pilots who stayed here during my visit. If they think the place is on par, then I know its good stuff in my book as well ;)

I do not recommend this hotel because : it is dirty, service is very bad... I reserved this hotel for my anniversary and when I checked in with my wife, the room was dirty and smelly. When I went back to tell them that I wanted I wanted my money back they said that I could not have a refund because policy states that a guest has to ask for a refund within 5 minutes of receiving the room keys... how obsurd!!!... this ended up ruining our special evening

I love staying at Ayres. I will always seek out this hotel in any area in which I am staying. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable. Wifi always works well. The breakfast is always good and offers good variety. Great value for the price!

Stayed overnight after attending a music festival. Location is very convenient to airport and has lots of restaraunts within quick driving distance and short walk. Our room was clean on arrival and the beds were comfortable. Not a 4 star hotel by any means but if you want a good night comfortable rest for a decent price this place is it. They charge $10 extra if you have more than two people with you so keep that in mind as you check in. Breakfast was alright. Sausage was good.

From the moment I checked in the General Manager was rude. Not a single person smiled. Breakfast was very inadequate and when I spoke with the lady whom was working in back she was beyond rude. For being my anniversary date night, your establishment was a huge disappointment.

We have been staying at this property since 2012, at least once a year. So far we are pleasantly satisfied with everything.

I love this hotel it is like home away from home , l have stayed several times , when Ayres was booked full I had too stay at other hotels in the area there was no comparison. Please tell your staff what a great job they do each day , the breakfast is so good and starts my day with greatness . Thank you Ayers family , your forefathers and mothers would be very proud of you all.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was stocked and warm. All went well!

Everything was good only one problem we could hear the people in the room next to us, very thin walls. We could also smell the food the brought into their room. I think it was because the room had a door access to the other room which we kept locked. It was inconvenient while trying to sleep and they were talking and then smelling the food woke us up.
