Mango Chamoy Margarita was delicious! No complaints on the food! Service was just a little slow, that's all.

Food looks great but it lacks taste. Queso flameando is not the best I've had. That carne guisado taco was just ok, not the best. Prices are ok for the food they provide. I always like the live music inside. I would not recommend anyone that wants a mind blowing tasteful experience to this place. It's just an ok place to eat.

not good. I ordered cheese enchiladas and they were served with chili meat sauce on top. Beans were bland. Rice stuck together.
Acoustics are very bad, can hardly hear one another talk. Tea was not refilled. Will try it one more time to see if there are improvements.

It s convenient if you re hungry in that area! Menudo is pretty good! What I liked most was the service quite frankly.

Our first time there. Food had a good flavor a lthough enchiladas were a little bland for true Tex Mex. Drinks were on point if the right bartender made them. Hot sauce was really good. Even had a kick with a hint of garlic. The charro beans were very good has cilantro just FYI for all you soap people out there. Although my wife thinks cilantro is soap ate around it and she loved it too. Place is super loud hence the minus one star. Tile floors and partial wall tall ceilings Spanish music, TVs and wide open rooms with everyone talking. Wife said it felt like she was yelling at me the whole time. I couldn't tell ( zing). Adding some sound isolation pads/foam on the walls & ceiling I think would make big difference. Anyway if you go on a Friday night don't expect a quite dinner. It's not like the game was on. They were playing stand up to cancer telethon. It was just busy had a 5 minute wait to be seated

Absolutely the best value for quality Mexican food in Spring Branch! Don't forget to try their incredible breakfasts!!

We were there and the restaurant was almost empty .There were 3 employees standing there talking to each other doing nothing .we sat there for about 10 min .We didnt get chips or salsa , no one took our drink order ,or even acknowledged our existence. We left .We will be happy to give our money to someone else !

Food is slightly bland. Suggest adding more favorable spices. Chips and salsa very good.

This visit was okay. Had the Wawa Enchilada plate and it was alright, but I probably won't order it again. The guac was a little off, tasted tangy (not lime tangy) like the avacados were overly ripe. Shell for the Taco Salad was a bit chewy as opposed to crispy.

The staff have been very friendly at each visit, but the service was sometimes very slow and it would take a very ling time to get our food with no chip or drink refills. Their food is great though.

The fajitas I ordered took 15 min + and then they were overcooked to were some were stuck to the dish. Also the rice was mushy and clumpy. The refried beans were cold. Finally the server was nice but didn't check very often.

My parents love this place. Always a good eat for dinner, and breakfast tacos are delicious.

We had lunch here one weekday and the food was fine. Not terrible but not extraordinary either. The decor is well done and they offer some interesting take-home items as well, for example local honey. It is a safe pick for Mexican if you don't know any other places.

Tried here 5 times now; impressed every time. Fantastic friendly service, great food at reasonable to low prices. Never have a problem getting service.
Just went back; still best overall place around: Kristin was fantastic, and enjoyed our clowning around with her and mockingly giving her a hard time. Everyone there was pleasant. Will definitely continue to go there.

We're in here 4-6 times a month and the food and service are consistently top notch.

Just a piece of advice to the owner & management>it is AGAINST THE LAW to inquire or let alone ASK TO CALL MY THERAPIST as to why an individual has a support animal. I had the appropriate paperwork. I did NOT have a vest on him>you can buy those on eBay. I have also been in the food & beverage industry for about 28 years. Check yourselves

My first time eating there today, and I will definitely be back! This place has some of the best fajitas I've ever tasted! Refried beans and rice were on point and also loved the chips and salsa. Very tasty!

It was ok .But needed to add a little more bean on there chulapo. But I would go back again. And the server did well

Nicely decorated and friendly staff but slow to bring out food... which was lukewarm. And corn tortillas cracked! Recipe needs improvement if that happens! Why was a taco served in foil like the to-go bfast tacos at a local chain? Presentation needed help.

Such a great place . very good food and amazing staff very clean environment. Food is very good . Been here a few times already every play I've ever gotten every cycle I've ever eaten or all good I have zero complaints about this place is very clean and very well spaced out the place looks bigger than what it looks on the outside they don't stock people on top of each other I can honestly say with confidence I recommend this place to you and your family but the prices being so good and the food Portion Ali large you will be happy you eating here

Stopped by after church, for breakfast. Service polite, but slow, machacado with potatoes and refried beans was delicious. Prices reasonable. I'd go back!

Amazing food! First time here, but very impressed with the Chorizo Flameado! The chicken Tortilla soup is one of the best tortilla soups I've ever had, also their Micheladas are GREAT!
I Definitely recommend you try this place out!

This restaurant has great customer service and fabulous food! I received my food within ten minutes and nothing was missing. I didn't have to ask for anything additional. My waitress anticipated everything I could have desired before I asked. My food has always been delicious whenever ive eaten at Ay Chiwaws. The atmosphere is relaxing, and every so often I bump into friends. Evidently, I'm not the only one who loves Ay Chiwawas!

What's with the blinding lights over each table. OMG. Food was meh.

I LOVE this restaurant, until today!!!! I asked for the Al Carbon Salad with NO cheese, and they gave me cheese . So, we went back, and the lady said there is no cheese this time and guess what! There WAS cheese!!! Very disappointed

This place has authentic Mexican food with huge portions. We walked out having spent around 30 for 2 meals and 2 drinks and apps.

Friendly attentive staff. Food was tasty... chips and salsa rocked. Clean floors and tables. We got the senior plates for 5$ each. Excellent value. Watch the game on TV or have a drink from the bar options were available too.

Rude, the order was totally messed up and food was awlful!!! Not sure I will be going back. Manager was too busy to be bothered.

I really want to like this restaurant, but its just ok. The food is bland and needs more seasoning. The alcohol is good. The breakfast tacos are good. But they're always cold when I get them to the drive thru.

I love their verde enchiladas. They are really delicious. They also make really good poblano enchiladas and have good queso. Nachos are good from there too.

I like to eat here. The food is very good and the prices reasonable. They also have the best chips and salsa.

I eat here regularly. The food is excellent, I especially enjoy the beef fajitas, but I have never been disappointed by any of their menu choices. Their salsa is incredible; not too spicy, not too bland. The servers are always courteous and attentive. The prices are fair for the quality and quantity of food served.

Service wasn't the best. The food was bland. We won't be going back. Servers wanted to socialize with each other. And have conversations in Spanish in front of customers. When they speak English. And then glare at you. Rude.

Hard to find any value here. The carne guisada burrito I ordered was about 90% rice & beans; no salad. The food was alright and the prices were high. Also, the menu was hard to read because the letters were so darn small. won t be back.

The homemade corn tortillas and the menudo here is really good. The sopapillas here are excellent!

This place is absolutely wonderful, everything about it.....The people and the food were great!

Very good food. Restaurant is very clean. Service was fast and friendly. We always do split checks and this is the first time the checks were all accurate the first time. Just a really great dining experience and great overall atmosphere.

I'd give it 5 stars but draft beer selection needs some serious attention. Craft beer please. IPA!!

Great place,and tortillas are delicious. But my server Lidia is always AMAZING!!

If you have the afternoon to waste, then you should order food from here. They can take 45 minutes for a piece of chicken. And bring your own liquids to drink. You'll starve to death waiting for any type of a refill.

If the server is not assigned to your table, you'd have a easier time getting attention from a prison guard then getting anyone to assist you.

Oustanding service and food as well as decor. Sergio....bartend, pro, extremely knowledgeable, perfectionist, people person. Draft dos equis, nice and cold. Frozen margaritas, nice top shelf. Chicken poblano sauce excellent. Fajita nachos excellent, good tasty jalapenos. Salsa good but nothing special. Will def go back.

Service and food was okay. Not much flavor to it. As I walked in, I was passed off to a new person to walk me to my table more than once. Only thing that was enjoyable were the homemade tortillas.

Locally owned, food is fresh and excellent service.

Did not get what I ordered and was to small portions for the price
