This is the definition of misrepresentation. This place is definitely short of a polished turd. Pictures displayed on the web are photos taken in pristine conditions. 1 the pool isn t available, dirty and covered. The so called hot tub hasn t been operational in a few months yet they have it shown in the first handful pictures representing this hotel. Downstairs (near the lobby) a customer staying at the hotel was also looking and following pool and spa signs though the building. Just for the clerk at the desk to say to us while helping another guest there is no hot tub no more . I really wish this was said before booking for $57 a night (before taxes) $70 after. Then while we were upset on the main floor walking back to the stairs to get to are room there was at least 5 workers for carpet cleaning were making so much noise! Then as we walk by one of the workers said someone died in that room! So I don t really know what to think as I lay in bed listening to people run down the halls and the occasional drunk trying to open our door with the wrong key.......all in all I have to remember it s a two star hotel. So take heed before thinking about this half star quality hotel. Hopefully breakfast is better than everything else.

So I thought because it carried the Wyndham name it would be very nice but was disappointed. I can't find the words but felt a bit sketchy. The bathroom had an 80s pinkish tub and toilet and the room was just ok. The mattress kept me up tossing and turning all night. The room seemed clean just not as updated as I expected it to be. Definitely won't be back.

My best friend and i stayed at this hotel and our entire experience was terrible. They gave us the wrong room key and we walked into someone else's room... The toilet seat in our room was cracked and painful to sit on, and when you flush it, it makes a sound like a cruise ship taking off, a sound so loud that it scared my son. Their free breakfast consisted of cold waffles, cold buscuits and gravy, stale cereal and stale muffins. The tv guide papers are for a different television provider than what they actually have so we didn't know what channels were what. I will never stay at a Baymont ever again. Baymont? More like Shitmont.

Worst customer service of my entire life! Front desk attendant was rude, repaeatedly cut me of mid conversation, and was negligent.

I am a sales director and was a manager at Nordstrom for several years. I know customer service and the way I was treated was inappropriate, unprofessional and her lack of service put my family in a terrible situation.

I have stayed at the Baymont on 6 different occasions before this incident. I had a great stay and the other front desk person was great. I needed a place to stay in Bellingham as I looked for houses in the area to relocate.

I finally found a rental house and became a happy resident. Shortly after, we discover a piping issue and had to stay at a hotel for 3 days while the work was completed at the cost of the house owner. I was pleased to be going back to the baymont inn inspite of the massive construction going on in the hotel. I am reasonable and just want good service and clean bed for my and my young son.

The reservation was made and the card left on file to charge. I gave them my card to cover an damages. The house owner called the hotel several times during the stay to make sure everything was taken care of on my behalf. During my stay the front desk attendant was rude, cut me off and dismissed my concerns. She also made us feel rushed to check out early as if we were not welcomed. We checked out an hour early. Still trying to find out if our house was safe to go back to. As I checked out the front desk attendant was talking to someone else on opposite side of the counter, maybe an employee. I stopped to make sure everything was in order. After I asked she waved me off and told me we were good to go and continued her conversation.

I was upset but I was happy to get out of there and back to my home.

3 days later, I check my account to find over $300 missing. As I freak out and call my bank and they tell me Baymont Inn in Bellingham attempted to charge my card on three different occasions over $300.

I calmly call the Baymont Inn and guess who answers the phone!? Yes. She spends 5 minutes trying to find my stay info under Camilton instead of Hamilton because that's a common name right? Anyway she proceeds to try to reverse my charge and charge the house owners card. I tried to tell her I am just calling to get details so I can work it out with the house owner ourselves. She cut me off and refused to listen to my request. She began reversing my card (won't get a return for 5-10 business days) and charging the other card.
1. Why did you charge my card in the first place if you knew the situataion because the house owner talked to you Personally and I told you personally AND you obviously already had the other card on file? In which you could have charged in the first place? She never admitted she charged the wiring card at check out and never apologized. She insisted it was my fault!

I know 300 may not be a lot to some but I am a working mom. I just moved into a house and my budget is very tight. I needed that money to enjoy my weekend with my family. Since my bank is closed, I will have to penny pinch to make sure my son has diapers etc. until this is resolved.

All because of one persons complete lack of service and complete negligence.

It was relieving to find a place in a panic at midnight, the staff was quite pleasant but once we checked in we didn't know how clean it really was when we kept finding other people's things still in the room.

When booking online on Wyndham site, one price showed up and then when I went to reserve, the price had jumped by about 12%. Called the actual place and the woman (Aracelli - apparently a manager) said she could not do anything about it. After a while she revealed that she could honor the initial rate quoted. Why not say so at the outset?
Arrived at hotel with Andrew at the front desk. My wife asked where the hot tub was located, and was informed that it was not working. Disappointed, she explained that as one of the reasons we chose the place, Andrew's offered "I can cancel your reservation if you would like." A little bit of thought could have led to a response like "I understand you are disappointed, but this is out of our control. We will try and make sure that your stay is a pleasant one however, if you choose to stay with us."
The 0.5 stars is because the person staffing the place the next morning was pretty decent.

I reccommend this place even in the middle of their remodel.Everyone has been so nice.And the security guy was super cool and helpful.Both front desk ladies were very friendly.The pool was awesome.And Even had nice talks with Gregory outside We will deffinitely stay here again!

They gave us the wrong room key and we walked into someone else s rooms with psycho dogs that were barking ridiculously. The toilet was cracked and pinched your butt when you sat on it and when you flushed the toilet it make such a loud noise it was like a cruise ship taking off. All of the muffins and the cereal were stale. They allowed terrible dogs at this hotel and they kept us up because of the constant barking. I only gave it 2 stars because we got this room for free. I would NEVER pay to stay here.

The staff is nice. The rooms are ok. The walls are dirty looking. Everything really needed a good wipe down. The beds and bedding were good and clean looking. The towel were nice. THE PARKING LOT AT NIGHT IS JUST SCARY. People standing around smoking and loitering in cars. Lots of Construction type vehicles every wear. The parking lot is cramped. The breakfast is decent for on the go. I would not stay at this location again. I didn't know the area of Bellingham because I had not been there before.

Undergoing remodeling so no comment on the physical property as that will soon be outdated. Staff, however, was great. Best breakfast I've seen in a hotel in a long time. Located near a 24/7 grocery store, and a Costco.

Don't take the "King Suite" unless you only care about the jacuzzi, the sink has no room around it and the shower is only for shorter people, pretty much child sized. AC would only do low. Breakfast was, uh, well, we just went out to eat the second morning. I have to stay in the same area twice next month, I'm staying someplace else.

Do yourself a favor and stay at a different hotel if you're coming to Bellingham. This place was disgusting, the walls are gross, rooms are shabby, and the whole place stinks. The staff were pleasant but I do not trust the cleanliness of this place at all, especially during a pandemic you'd think they would prioritize that.

This place does not have a shuttle!! Their 800 number and their website have the wrong information. It's a taxi service that Baymont Inn may or may not cover for you, it seems to differentiate from one check in clerk to the next check in clerk.
I made all the necessary steps to insure there would be a shuttle from the hotel to the airport seeing as I was traveling with my child and our flight was at 5 AM. I then found out at the time I was getting in the taxi at 3:45 AM that I would have to pay for the taxi, even though the clerk the night before assured me it would be covered, however, the clerk the following morning said they would not cover the taxi, she was also very adamant about not working with me, she only gave me the option to talk to the general manager at 9 AM. I ended up paying for it.

Super disappointed in this hotel. Booked a night on Expedia and paid for a presidential suite for the night, called to check my reservation and they informed me that I would not be getting a suite but a regular room. Apparently all their suites have been under construction due to water damage for 2 months and they had failed to inform Expedia or myself. They were not willing to give me a refund or help at all, or even apologize for their poor communication with myself and with Expedia . The communication was terrible and the customer service was awful. This is my 2nd time booking with them and last. I don't not recommend booking a room with them.

This is a decent hotel is you are looking for a place to just stay one night. The hallways kinda smell musty mixed with cigarette smoke.The room was clean and the staff were friendly. However, the breakfast was one of the worst breakfasts I have ever received as part of the stay. They basically have hard boiled eggs and bacon in the cooler and a couple of bagels with a toaster that doesn't even work properly. If you are planning on staying here, do not have high expectations for the breakfast. We didn't even go down for the breakfast on the second day.

They booked my room with a credit card, then refused to let me check in using the same credit card. They tried to claim that it was a pre-paid card, but it's a normal company Master Card issued by a national bank. I've booked hundreds of rooms elsewhere with no issues. Very unimpressed.

The room, hotel, and property were fine. However the front desk experience was abysmal. Be prepared to be treated rudely (by the manager!), be asked to pay extra fees for perks that should be free as a member, be lied to, have your room key deactivated before your stay is over, and to have fees charged to your card with no explanation other than "we caught it and reversed it" as if that makes it okay to take your money for six days while you wait for the refund. Stay somewhere else.

The lady that checked us in was great. The hotel was very noisy and very noticeable after midnight. Many different times someone was loud. Breakfast was not great. The room was ok. Most likely will not stay again.

5 start service at a 2 start hotel. Great find for the price! We had a last minute stay here, there was some visible wear and tear in our room and the hotel in general needs some loving touch care, but it was mostly cosmetic, didn't affect the function and the room was decent and clean. The breakfast was basic and I don't recommend it. We didn't even bother with it in on the second day.
What was exceptional was the service! Not only it was super friendly but also very helpful in a timely manner. We notified the front desk that our toilet sit was broken on our way out for a meal and by the time we came back it was fixed!! We also got information and recommendations from the concierge and all together it was a very personable service that made us feel at home. The location was convenient for what we needed and altogether, if you need a hotel on a budget, I recommend this one.

I enjoyed my stay at Baymont Bellingham. The rooms are simple and clean, a little older, nothing fancy but very comfortable. The free breakfast is way better than I expected and the people were all really nice and helpful. We'll definitely go back next year!!
