Excellent Location

A bit pricey for what you get. Service was good and food taste good. Plenty of seating, very clean.

The nachos were not wimpy. The enchiladas super yummy :0)

Service was good. They also have a bar there. Food was subpar. Rice was disgusting tortillas were not homemade guac was from a bag. Also ordered sopapillas and they were basically a flour tortilla with c cinnamon and sugar didn't even have its own dough or the correct shape it was literally a flour tortilla cut in four

Love this place. The food is awesome and the staff is always polite and helpful. I especially recomend their boom boom basket.

Update 2 years later: went in for dinner, my enchilada plate was dry, everything dry,dry,dry. Other plate was beef fajitas. Them and the pinto beans were acceptable. Maybe again in 2 years, probably not.

A single carne guisada taco ran me over $4. You'd think at that price they'd use a prime ribeye, but nope just a chuck roast. The flavor was decent but the value sucks.

One of the worst experiences that I've had in a long time! Went as a group after work and had horrible service, OVERPRICED tiny $12 margaritas and AWFUL management customer service. I definitely do not recommend wasting your time or money in this establishment.

Surprised by how good it was, they have some decent authentic Mexican cuisine. I compare it to be similar to Las Palapa.

My husband and I ate here the other day for lunch. The queso was white, thick with nothing else. I have never had queso that was just cheese? The chips were cooked perfectly, but were so salty that we had to brush off the salt before eating them. We order the senior cheese enchilada plate and the refried beans and rice had very little flavor. I give them one star for the cheese enchilada. It was pretty good, but small. We have no plans to return. I will drive a little further to Stone Oak and eat at Taco Cabanna or Taco Bell

All the food here is outstanding if I were to make a suggestion I would and I love to get the Mexicanas Botanas when I go to this restaurant it's a small variety of different flavors a Mexican food and it is excellent. The owners totally dedicated to customer satisfaction he loved seeing the customers enjoy their dining experience in this awesome Mexican restaurant I Chihuahua.

Good food. Great margaritas. Jumbos at happy hour are a bargain. I like the enchiladas. Drive through a huge plus. Go there often.

Sat at the bar for 15 minutes before leaving. My party was never acknowledged by the bartender. The host said hello but we were not offered any assistance.

Hands down the worst Mexican food I've ever had. What a joke.

Nice atmosphere, good service (especially Sergio.. He always takes care of us and always offers to give us our drinks to go) the food is always great. Just ordered the pirata taco (chicken, bean, avocado, and cheese on a toasted flour tortilla) it was awesome.

The only issue I've ever had with this restaurant is there bathroom. The soap dispensers are usually empty there's never any paper towels to dry your hands at least in the men's restroom.

Something needs to be done about your service. We come because we like your food. We sit in the bar area because it is quiet. The bartender, a young lady was horrible. She walked by our table 10 times and didn't pick up the empty plates or ask to see if we need anything. We had a male waiter and he really had no personality nor provided service the whole time we were there.

Good food but dont order drinks. Went ordered a big margarita, severed in a small cup. At the end of it I discovered an alcohol spout was in the drink. I told the waitress and Managment or bartender never came to at least apologize....
Geez, at least I got a buzz out of it, not worth price though

Great service and the food is awesome. You can go do your shopping at Wal-Mart next door and grab a bite to eat afterwards. Great location Hwy 46 @ spring branch is up and coming.

Very fast service and the scenery is awesome. Alot of happy faces at the tables! My daughter thinks the waiter is cute! Lol

Very new building, nice, clean and wide open. The food is good. Queso is a white cheese that gets hard fast when it starts to cool down. Refried beans are very bland. They do offer 25% off for military, law enforcement, firefighters, etc. Not our go-to Mexican resturant, but you shouldn't be disappointed if you eat here.

My husband and I have eaten here on many occasions and it has always been a good experience......until our last visit.

We went to eat at Ay Chiwawa's on 1/13/2018. Our waitress was Angie. Maybe this was her first day, she was new or maybe she doesn't know proper waitressing etiquette, not sure, but here is how the experience went.....

I ordered the Beef Fajita plate with no rice and extra beans, I saw her write this down (although I could not see what she was writing). After both my husband and I placed our orders, she repeated it back to us. When she repeated my order she said, "Beef Fajita Plate with double rice". I said, "I wanted double beans and not double rice". She smiled and said, "Oh, okay", and proceeded to write something else down.

When we received our orders, what came on my Beef Fajita plate? Rice. I mentioned this to her and she said, I thought I put double beans? I asked her if I could have a side of beans as that is what I asked for, not rice and she started to take my plate. Now, I have worked in 4 different restaurants in my life for a total of 8 years (3 of them Mexican food restaurants) and in no restaurant I have ever worked at was I allowed to take a customer s plate if the reason for the mistake was "my" fault. I asked her if she could just bring a side of beans again and she said, "They will probably charge you for the beans if I do that". Well, that kinda irritated me so I allowed her to take my plate.....As I mentioned before, at the restaurants I have worked at in the past, I was never "allowed" to take a customer s plate away from the table, THEN, bring the same plate back (this is a sanitary issue in most food industries). However, she brought the same plate back with the rice scraped off and beans added.

I do this review more for the restaurant and its employees than for the general public to simply say that the customer is always right. I didn t make the mistake, the waitress did and she should have corrected it, not taken my plate away and presented me with the same plate again with the rice removed. Maybe teach your employees the proper etiquette of waitressing and how to deal with their mistakes instead of telling the customer they will get charged if they (the wait staff) fix the mistake that they (the wait staff) made. Only a suggestion. Thanks for reading!

I order potato bacon and cheese breakfast tacos through the drive through was on a regular basisI like there food inside but seems like every time i get these the potatoes and tortillas are cold. I will say something at the speaker next . Don't want to be rude but its getting a little much.

Wow! This place is awesome! It's like a nicer las palapas. Good service, clean and new. A bit pricey, but well worth it.

I like the food not because I work there,but I love the customers and people I work with,i work the drive thru

If there's one thing a Mexican restaurant should get right, it's the Margaritas. Took my father there and received two Kool Aids that they called margaritas. Tex Mex food was average.

Excellent food! My husband had the wawa burrito. It was huge! My daughter had fish tacos and I had barbacoa tacos, guacamole & refried beans. They we're all delicious! We we're driving through and glad we took a gamble! $5 margaritas on Saturday were an extra bonus! Shame on me for not getting pics to share! ...next time!

After about a twenty minute wait for two, we were placed at a table in line with the air-conditioning vent. Cool wind outside and a cold wind inside. When I told one person that it was cold and the vent was not acceptable, he said, sorry about that. It didn't seem to be it unacceptable response. I then stood up and we began to leave and the waitress asked why. We let her know and she again responded sorry about that. I then saw, what I believe is the manager on the way out. He offered for us to wait again for another table. Too many choices to wait twice over. Bottom line. AC shouldn't be blowing on customers.

Food had a good taste and you get a lot.prices are really good too.

We weren't served at all but people who came in after us got served before us so we left

I love the tortilla soup! They are a little stingy with the avocado, but I don't mind paying extra. The chicken in the soup is super tender. My favorite place for tortilla soup!

Mexican food is a dime a dozen, but hearing the story behind this family's effort to make GREAT food, period, is awesome! Fresh salsa, good food, and friendly atmosphere make this a must! Oh! And did I mention the tortillas?!? Mic drop.....

Food was nothing to write home about I ordered the ground beef burrito and got a bean burrito instead and my wife ordered the taco plate and got some meat with 2 tortillas nothing else no lettuce, tomato or cheese even had to ask for all that

We eat here frequently since the restaurant opened. Each time I have had my service animal with me each time. Today I was joined by my family and was told my service dog was not allowed. The boy told me he checked with the owner and we were not allowed. I will never set foot here again! I do however highly recommend Smokey Mo s! They welcomed us with open arms! Friendly staff and manager!!!

We go there quite a bit. Breakfast and dinner mostly. Always a great experience. Great food, big portions and great prices.... Highly recommend them......

The service was great. Chips and salsa were good. If we could give it 3.5 stars we would. The Flautas were really good but the Tacos al Carbon were very very bland. The Charro beans were flavorful. We will come back, the next time I'll try the fish tacos.

Excellent food. The chips and salsa were delicious and the puffy tacos with ground beef were amazing! Glad I stopped by. I ll definitely be back!
