I am not sure how this gets 4.3 based on the plethora of negative reviews. With specific reference to a customers review below about arrogant sales men not treating their customers equally, I could not agree more. Never in my life have I dealt with a sale man who behaves as if he is doing me a favor; saying that they will call but doesn t do so for 3 days, after you follow up, they still don t call. So you explore your options at other dealerships, and when you follow up with Auto Bavaria, YET AGAIN, they call you out for going to other dealerships and them having to do the exercise of a proposal based on this, bearing in mind that you call other dealerships because Auto Bavaria do not show intention to help you!!! If the Pre-sales service is of this quality, I cannot begin to imagine after-sales service. I will never set foot in this this dealership. For a newly opened dealership to behave in this manner tarnishes the bmw brand. Disgusted.

Best service department. Sales not so much, they only seem to care if you come in with a suit and tie than short.

Hey guys. Perhaps it was a Saturday but we stood around and not one of your salespeople talked to us. Two gentlemen in particular could clearly see we were interested in a car but didn't bother engaging. In the end, we walked out after awkwardly standing around. Yes, we weren't dressed to the nines but I'd encourage you to treat all customers equally. I'll be going to BMW Sandton now.

Excellent experience from all staff at Auto Bavaria Midrand. Friendly staff were extremely helpful.
Overall it was A Brilliant Memory.

After reading some negative reviews below im hesitant taking my car to midrand bmw, I wont feel at peace, I find JSN BMW in Bryanston a safer option!

CAUTION: Fake Warranty & terrible workmanship.

Careful it seems that this dealer won t guarantee their own workmanship or uphold the BMW Brand s promise.

So word of caution before dealing with them, the possibility of your vehicle being returned with more problems it went in with exists.

From my experience I can report that recently they have replaced a part on my car with a Faulty part and now they say they can t replace the faulty part under warranty again unless I pay to replace another unrelated part that is in good working order (sounds fishy right). To make matters worse, they didn t replace all the bolts on the bottom cover under the car the last time they worked on it so this time around I highlighted it to them and asked to PLEASE ENSURE they replace ALL bolts. So when I went to fetch my car after 4 days without them honouring the BMW warranty, I noticed they didn t even bother to replace the entire bottom engine bay cover under the car. They tried to keep the cover for themselves so that I probably had to come back and buy a new one. No wonder they won t honour the BMW brand promise, or perhaps that s just their trick to cause other issues so that you can come back and spend more money..?

I can only speak from my experiences so if you are considering to send your expensive vehicle there perhaps just do your homework around them, read the below reviews and visit websites such as Hellopeter who have many examples of bad service and sadly you ll also see that BMW SA won t care much either to respond or rectify these situations. And FYI BMW SA you can save your comments such as please direct your concerns to ###@bmw.co.za. People see through that! Don t make like you care on social media and your bad reviews but then not back it up and live up to the international standards of BMW.

So just a word of caution, from experience they provide terrible service, try and make you pay for faulty parts which they won t guarantee and don t live up to the BMW brand.

It s so Sad to lose Faith in the Brand I Love.

The sales personell do not fight for the lowest interest rate.

Auto Bavaria Midrand has been looking after my cars for a number of years and always go out of their way to keep the customer happy. Most recently they even roped in regional management to assist with repairs on my car that is already over 8 years old! BMW can be proud of this dealership!

Its a very good dealership and I have always had the best service of high quality, however, today I was disappointed. I booked my car in for service and then after getting home Marilyze calls me and tells me that my car is too 'dirty' to be worked on and that they 'll need to do a Valet first at the cost of R500. Wow! That's a first. The reason I did not take my car for a wash first is because previously like any other dealership, cars get washed for free when in for a service.

You could have let me know when I was booking a date that my car should be clean. I could have taken it to the Engen guys who do a very good job for R100 and still give them enough tip, usually R100. Now R500, on top of the service cost?

I'll probably just take my car to the boys and buy parts next time. My brother could be right. The costs are exaggerated.

But it is still a nice place with friendly people .

Customer Service needs to be looked at, it is disappointing the the customer is not taken seriously, main focus is to listen to your customers before you start making excuses, I should be the customer liaison officer for BMW SOUTH AFRICA, I would really get rid of some people who take on a job that they cannot fulfill their obligations

I service my car there. They keep u updated every step of the service

Took my BMW for a service, it was explained to me that the brakes was still fine but they replaced it for me anyway. A week later I had a vibration on the steering wheel, took it back on a friday and received it back the same day, thet explained that they had to replace some brackets and the problem was sorted. A week later the vibration was back. Im to scared to take my car back to them, and hace to take a day of from work to go to a dealer near my home 40km from work. And this is my only mode of transport. BAD BAD BAD

When I got there I was attended the very minute. Their customer service is amazing with friendly staff. As I waited for the drivers to drop me back at home I was told to go to the coffee bar have something to drink. The driver fetched me and dropped me at home....

Bad service. Unable to diagnose correctly. Car sent in for a third time in two months!!!!
Just too happy to bill all the time
