So cold inside I had to leave periodically to go outside to get warm

Wonderful size building for events. Located around food and other sites.

The facility was nice and clean. There was some confusion about loading because on friday we were allowed to drive up to the back of the building but on sunday we were not allowed to do that.

Always well organized, close to everything Downtown.

Great atmosphere for events! Dreamhack was great there!

Sprawling. Hard to move around like I wanted. Not enough signage.

Clean convention center. Went here for DreamHack. Very large center with clean bathrooms!

I definitely got lost a few times but it was am excellent venue for events. The only issues I did have were with whoever planned to hold a cosplay contest in a meeting room instead of a ballroom...

Otherwise excellent well kept facilities. Food and drink is extremely expensive. Bottles of soda (unless from a machine) are about $4 and small food items can run from $5 (pretzels) to over $8 (slice of pizza, was pretty good though)

Nice place was big enough for the Venue. I like it it wasn't overwhelmingly huge like Denver Colorado, San Diego or Los Angeles. It was more along the lines of Anaheim or Ontario CA.

Nothing spectacular or anything to make it stand out as a convention center. It's relatively close to some Austin Staples such as Dirty Dog Bar.

The food was amazing, they really went all out to put on the awards banquet. I was impressed by the catering staff as well as the coordination of lights and sound.

As far convention centers go, it s pleasant enough. I do appreciate that there is direct access via bridge from the Fairmont Hotel, which is great when you re there for a convention with 15,000 people. You skip a lot of the crowds this way. I wish there were more restrooms and perhaps separate accessible restrooms as well. Other than that, it s a nice, modern convention center with very powerful AC! It s definitely needed when you re in Austin in August as I am every year.

Went to the Tiny Home convention... a pleasant and clean experience

Many events are hosted here such as the Austin RV show this weekend, SXSW, and the boat show

Great place for Conferences. All types of accommodations are available.

Nice area, free wifi, free filtered, lots of space and good lighting, easy to find.

Enjoyed some SXSW festivities this past year at this venue. Good times!

It's a convention center. You know what you're getting into.

I attended the PROCORE Groundbreak Conference, 2018 - Great facilities, staff, layout, etc...

Very big was cool the whole time and it was summer.

The Austin Convention Center is an awesome location for meetings. It was big and spacious. Everything was clean. The event that I attended was great. I really appreciate the convention center staff and their help. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

I think this was the most user friendly convention center I have ever been to. I enjoyed everything about my experience

This place was the best! Loved RTX 2016!!! I'll be back one day! I love my "Keep Austin Weird" Tye-Dye, one of my best Tye-Dyes! Be sure to buy one while here for RTX!!! Bring your own food for snacks, food here is very high priced.

Attended for OpenStack Summit in 2016. Really big place and lot of options near by for food and walk. Great location!

A nice, modern and spacious venue. The event I attended was well organized. The parking is a bit far, but not terrible.

Was here for spiceworld and it was very clean and nice.

The layout here was easy to understand and navigate making for a wonderful time at RTX 2018!

Uber nice and posh. But the nacho cheese wasn t fantastic so only 4 stars.

Best Con center in Texas , large well air conditioned spaces

The location was great for a recent conference with Keller Williams. The security lines were sometimes long. The venue was clean and the staff were friendly.

We came here for RTX 2019 and the facility is fantastic as always.

Plenty of washrooms, water stations and friendly staff.

The security was quick, friendly and efficient. You cannot bring in outside food or drink, you can bring in empty bottles however.

They have reasonably priced snacks and drinks if you need a quick hit of a snack.

Nice convention center. $20 all day event parking. Free water.

Was here for Tableau conference. Liked every part of it.

A much improved venue for seeing the Texas Rollergirls or the Toros (before they moved to Cedar Park). There is a huge amount of seating and the air conditioning is a welcome escape for the summer heat. Do yourself a favor and don't drive around here during SXSW. You will regret it.

The convention center was clean and very well organized for the guests. The location was perfect as every night there were things for people to visit nearby. Austin was a nice place to visit for a tech conference and the convention center and surrounding venues made for an entertaining environment for everyone.

Exhibit hall. It's for exhibits. Good location. Parking is horrific. Buy a bus pass

Some meeting areas don't seem well connected, so a long walk is necessary

Went to a car show here. Parking is close & had a good time with the Family.

It is a convention center, that holds conventions. Its purpose is fulfilled adequately. No frills, but not bad.

Cirque was amazing, great crowd control and traffic movement.

It was a convention, so I'm not privy to what would make someone choose or not choose it over another one. I judge these place by how long the walks are to get from place to place. This required long walks from one end of the place to another.

Typical convention center setup. Needs better catering services because Austin is known for their food, but not this place. Although, the event planners could've been ordering on the cheap.

Interesting to navigate, various sizes of rooms from massive to 10 person, restrooms on each level, 4 levels. Central. Metro out front, walking distance to most of Austin.

Very nice convention centre. The rooms are big and the AV is great. The support staff (ie people who scan you in) are unreliable and sometimes do not show up.

Was there for SXSW Festival. Attended art show. Great vendors. Nice locale and show.

The convention center is good, the negative was the aggressive panhandling. I agree the homeless should be treated well however the aggressive before is running alot of people off, I don't know the answers but this will keep me out of the central part of the city unless I can park in front of my destination.

Staff are always friendly and helpful during events.
