A very large convention center, came for RTX 2017 and ended up loving Austin in the process.
Even though I lost my phone here I still had a great time here during SXSW
Always well organized, close to everything Downtown.
The staff were awesome for our sfr. Great place to have any type of meeting, convention or what have you.
Clean restrooms and nice ammentities. Confusing layout which makes it hard to find your location.

Austin Convention Center routinely hosts various trade shows and exhibitions from extremely different business worlds.
This week it was Technology and a Colitis Congress.
Signs for colitis treatments and the Cloud, Web, and Hardware as well as professionals from both worlds inhabited the venue.
Last year it was Orange Theory and Technology...
Great service, fast and easy set-up with helpful folks from the Exhibition company as well easy access to one of the premier 'walkable' towns in the United States makes Austin Convention Center a perfect venue for business and pleasure.
I attended SC'15 and the convention center is great. It's really big but also very centrally located for public transport and easily accessible in the heart of the city.
The AC is very cold for my taste... Bring a sweater.
Beautiful facilty! Be prepared to get your steps in!
Nice facility, parking garage located near by. Of course paid parking being downtown.
They need to permit kickscooter without battery to come into the convention. At the airport is permited. Kickscooters dont destroy carpets since theyr wheels are made of rubber
Great location. Lots of entry and exit points, clean, friendly staff, several great points for convention attractions.
It is impossible to find parking and getting in and out of downtown Austin can take an hour or more
Parking could be better but it is downtown so I'm not knocking it, very nice convention center.
In the middle of downtown, luckily there's plenty of parking
Still getting worked on,but the workers are doing an excellent job, keep up the good work fellas
Pretty nice, but the stair setup is ludicrous - if you're at the rear of the convention it's impossible to get to the fourth floor without going almost all the way to the front of the convention center.
Home of SXSW and now DrupalCon Austin, the convention center has been perfect. It is big enough to host a large number of events yet not ridiculously large to where you get confused.
Huge exhibition halls, good location downtown, and the parking garage is convenient.
While easy to get in and out of his far as public parking I must say that on such a cold day it was disappointing that they have the air conditioners running inside where the volleyball tournament was being held other than that it's a nice place
Great place! No good parking though. The wifi quality makes up for it mostly.
Went for a job fair. Awesome amenities. Wonderful structure.
Great space for a Conference, wonderful staff, easy access to transportation and restaurants.
Loved the event I attended. Very clean. Only complaint is parking but that seems like the while city price gouges on parking. Use Uber....don't drive
Easy walking from the nearby hotels. Kept on good condition, and has a small amount of vending at the entrance.
Attended 53rdDAC as an exhibitor. Nice building, clean neighbourhood.
This is one of the nicest convention centers I've been to in Texas (barring the San Antonio center). I've been here for RTX and was not disappointed. The signs are very clear on which direction to go to get to specific areas, and the exits are labeled for the streets they face.
Very large bulding I went here because of my convention for Legos but if the problem is size you won't have to worry about that.
Very well organized with signs everywhere that help you get where you need to go fast.
Was there as an exhibitor and the facility was clean, staff was friendly during g the TCEQ conference.
Badly laid out, with all the hallways on the outside. Getting from one session to the next could require walking 3-4 city blocks distance. I was late to talks and my feet were aching by the end of the day every day.
Sprawling. Hard to move around like I wanted. Not enough signage.
Beautiful convention center with lots of space. The events are easy to get in and out of. Lot's of great food and drink within walking distance
Ample security and we'll kept facilities made this an excellent venue for Dreamhack Austin.
Parking is confusing and stressful. Makes coming here a hassle.
Fine location for our annual DAC trade show and convention.
Place is nice, bathrooms easily accessible (great when you have kids with you), only reason for 4 stars is that this place would be more awesome if I didn't have to walk 3 blocks on a rainy day with 2 small children (the parking situation).
Attended RTX 2015. Was impressed by the sheer space of the center. Everything was laid out in a way that was easy to navigate for anyone who has never been there.
The Co nvention center is very large and spread out. Wearing comfortable shoes is a must. No high heels!
Attended OpenStack Summit. Signage could use improvement. Facility looks and feels modern.
Nice spacious convention center, fully equipped meeting rooms, free wi-fi, plenty of restaurants nearby, pretty good balcony spaces for sitting.
I was here for TCEA 2017 which is a yearly tech conference. It is a lot of walking here so make sure to bring comfy shoes if possible. The mezzanine levels are very tricky to find so make sure to allow extra time if you have a session in those. Other than that, it's in the perfect location and good restaurants are in walking distance.
Went to a robotics competition there, it was clean and easy to find, close to the river and everything else that's great in Austin
The parking structures are a couple of blocks away
Only takes like 7-10 min walk but it's still a walk. Also it's paid parking.
Pretty big place, restrooms are nice and big.
But conference rooms were faulty with their light switches.
Very small conference center. Too small for the conference I was at.
Host location for SXSW, great seminars and their 'flea market's.
Woof. The logistics and facilities here are a disappointing nightmare. It hasn't been updated nearly enough to meet the conference needs of our capitol city, which is why most conferences are held in Dallas or Houston. Get it together, Austin.
It's raining when we been there but we enjoy the place.
Your standard convention center. Nothing to fancy but served it's purpose.
Great venue... then once you come out of the center you're right in the middle of a couple dozen restaurants.
I went for the RV Expo, and it had an excellent set up. For the Convention Center being in a downtown congested area I was surprised at how well valet handled the influx of people coming and going.
Great accommodations for having our seminar & parking was easy!
