Great space for conventions and other events. Catering and bar service can be contracted as well. Gets a little chilly inside.

Apparently they turn the air conditioning off at night so morning setup can be a hot humid and sweaty ordeal.

Great convention! The only problem was that during the education sessions, many of the classrooms experienced A/V issues.

Enormous venue, very clean and well maintained. Attended Dreamhack here for the first time and was completely blown away

A good place for a trade show. The draw back is expensive parking and the large population of street people in the area.

The center seemed smaller then some of the other convention centers in the area, I went for Wizard Con. Had a good time, the staff seemed a but too serious, and over cautious with security, having to recheck you anytime you go outside. But had a great time overall.

Parking and traffic are a pain in the rear. Not to mention the vagrants, drug dealers and vapid drunk people. Stay outside the city and take the train in if you can.

It's a convention center. You know what you're getting into.

It is placed in downtown of Austin surrounded by good cafe and bars. About two min to Hilton Hotel. It is really good place for exhibition and conferences.

Tons of space and great A/V. A great place for an event and centerally located in Austin. Right next to public transportation and 3 hotels and walking distance to anything you want to get to in Austin.

I've been here too many times to count. That said, this place is always consistent. Parking is usually pretty easy to find, getting in and out is easy, the staff are there to help and it's in walking distance of great hotels and restaurants. So if you find yourself working here or visiting you can get off site very easily and then back to what you were doing.

Easy to navigate the centre, friendly staff all around, the gift shop had a wonderful and very helpful gentleman who was packed full of wonderful knowledge. Loved this space for events of any size.

One of our favorite places to visit and convention. Tip: Bring your own breakfast and coffee. Only 1 venue and that doesn t open until 8am or so.

Nice small city convention center. Near downtown and plenty of great dining options.

Came here for Jurassic Quest, facility was very clean just wasn t really sure where the main entrance was and where was parking available.

As a speaker for conventions and meetings and events, I will rate it based on that. It is huge, but it is easier to find rooms than Henry B. in SA. A few less amenities than other facilities. No tables of water, for example. And the walls between the 4th floor meeting rooms are temporary, thin, and bleed sound. That said, this is a great location to speak at. The tech is usually good and there are lots of spaces to meet up and do some work.

Good venue but could use seating along the perimeter of displays and vendors. Lots of old folks looking for a place to sit.

The place is huge so when hosting a conference here map it out well or you'll be walking for days! The staff is very customer focused. Corey was our services manager and the guy went above and beyond.

Parking is terrible and the austin hippies are unbearable

Security could be a little bet less uptight, but overall an enjoyable experience at this convention center. Parking nearby and a simple layout made navigation a breeze.

Standard convention center stuff - nothing crazy, clean, organized. Possibly a bit too small for SXSW as the lines were out the door and around the building. Aside from that, pretty good.

I am a fan of the somewhat controversial architecture, and it is in a great location in the city with convenient rail service, but very limited parking. The venue is also less flexible than some other conference centers.

It is a nice convention center located close to the major attractions in Houston. I was here for the AAI conference and they did a good job hosting it. The building itself is a little dated but still functions well.

It is a convention center, that holds conventions. Its purpose is fulfilled adequately. No frills, but not bad.

Very clean, staff worked incredibly hard overnight to fix issues with admission on day one of three.

Went there for the Dinosaur exhibit. Fun... but way too expensive!!

Wow this place is massive! Very nice facility; working well for our convention.

The convention had excellent service and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was easy and cozy.

As an exhibitor: I love that the security staff here are friendly instead of the classic dweeb who abuses authority.

Some of the labor could be a little sharper, or a little more sober, but they get the job done.

The parking structures are a couple of blocks away
Only takes like 7-10 min walk but it's still a walk. Also it's paid parking.

Pretty big place, restrooms are nice and big.
But conference rooms were faulty with their light switches.

This place is yuge! Very clean, good service from the employees.

The food they provided for the event was pretty great, It is about 3-4 blocks long so definitely bring your walking shoes

I arrived at the ACC because of the SXSW Convention in March. It was my first time here and in the city of Austin as well. I can say firstly that Austin was a fantastic city. I am from upstate NY and have been to both NYC and Boston.. gotta say I enjoyed Austin the best hands down.

As for the Austin Convention Center. I enjoyed it very much - it was packed up and busy for the SXSW event going on but I still managed to take in what the convention center had to offer. I thought it flowed very well and was easy enough to navigate. The people were super friendly and the days spent there were unforgettable.

My only gripe would be that the convention center couldn't hold everything that they had to offer at SXSW and often I had to go to adjacent hotels which were hosting more events. I mean... it wasn't a big deal because the places were so close to one another (and I guess them having so much material for the event makes sense that they can't contain it in one location).

All in all, great building, great event (SXSW) and definitely recommend visiting this city and convention center at some point!

Place is massive, staff were very attentive and friendly

This place is huge and well organized, filled with clean washrooms, drink and snack stands, escalators and elevators. The rooms r made to accommodate your event. I cannot say enough good things about this venue.

Great air conditioning. Wouldn't let conference attendees sit on the floor in long a que.
