Auroville is a calm and quiet place ideal for meditation. A must visit place if you're looking for an escape from mundane city life. Bus services are provided for commutation of aged and elderly.

Life is a collection of memories, when I visited auroville I got a best memory. Auroville is almost separate place with great scenaries, shopping, and we feel like we are in France.

The place is a must visit for every one who believes in a place of calm and divine environment.

Best meditation experience! One should get the pass to be able to go inside matrimandir and meditate. Best place for people who likes quite and calm, greenery around them! The view of matrimandir, the architecture and hard work that has gone inside is worth every moment. You get to visit information centre which depicts how the matrimandir was formed and what is the significance of it. People can rent bicycle exactly outside the information centre and go around on cycles (best way to experience auroville).
For getting pass (refer one of the photos attached with my comments for complete details) - visitors have to come in advance and get personal pass.

This is a beauty to b seen. For people lookin for enjoyment nd fun dnt come here. Its a place to relax to learn nd to understand hw world works nd wat nature cn do to us. Come as grps nd take a walk nd visit every place. People wer friendly. Especially foreigners, tey giv a smile wen u look at them. If u r comin wit a bike. Its gud or u cn rent bikes nd use it to go around.

Auroville Visitors Centre is the entrance to a huge landscape consisting of sincere activity regarding meditation, education and a completely different lifestyle where there's no rat race but compassion, no hustle and bustle but silence, no exams but real education, and so many things.
There is a one of its kind in the world structure called Matrimandir. People from all over the world come here to witness such unique way of life.

People don't understand that need to maintain silence. Please put up sign boards every few steps and inform the guards that they can take people out if they are noisy.

This is quite good place for pollution haters. The foods are very higin.

Best place to visit in the early morning or evenings..... To visit matrimandir inside... Need to book in person 2 days before... Then after that you can visit by booking online... Only first time need to book in person.... If u dont book.. Then you can the see the mandir from outside... Search about auroville in Google.. It's an amazing place to be visited must at least once to know their culture

One time visit. Place to understand real meaning of spirituality and yourself but check timing before visiting.

This is best meditation center,so we went there on sunday but its closed by 1pm.

Consists a information centre, video room few good cafes to eat. Information centre is a small hall with very little information of what Auroville is and the more information available but written in French and Tamil.

Very calming place in the lap of nature. People are helpful here. Must visit.

We went at midday, so very hot to walk along and reach beautiful meditation centre. Everyone can not enter the meditation centre. It is allowed only for those who does meditation. Return trip by free bus ride, so relieved.

Very costly the items that are sold here. Same item we get for a cheaper price outside on the roadside

Honestly I was expecting more from this place, I heard we can visit the Auroville society too but we were told that we can't visit the area. So basically we walked just to see that Golden Ball and nothing much.

Well finished in progess after 5 year it look more beautiful
