So peaceful place. Good yo have a nice walk instead of going by bus.

Banian tree and matri Mandir are the highlights here. Walking was fun with family and friends

It is a nice place to visit,theye says it is not a tourist place,but tourists only comes here,but a place which is calm and quiet,they keeps a cool ambience here,you will get food and beverage here,they have some time limitations for visit,but they mange it good and well

Good place work helping people. If you want to visit the Auroville temple you've to go here first and watch a documentary video which depict the life and vision of Guru Aurobindo. Also it tells you the purpose why they built Auroville.

Given 3 rating as it is closed on Sundays 1PM only...The products in boutique are very costly.They are looting you...One of the book I have purchased from aurbindo ashram is 75.Same costs here 250.This is ridiculous.

Calm and serene place. The trek takes about 2 KM's up and down so those who are physically fit can take the chance. The Centre and the Mandir are good. Water and food are available.

Peaceful and plesent location. If you want to enter actual meditation temple, you have to get a token one day in advance.

Nice peace and calm place...Reaching their specially at matrimandir is bit difficult if u go by walk...But it's good view once u reach...I suggest there are free pick up and drop off bus service from visitor centre to matrimandir do prefer that...U can spend about half an hour..Click few photos and come ..Far from city centre apx.8 to 9 km..But yes it is one among couple of visitors place in Pondicherry....

No guide was present and many of our were not sure what to do or where to go.. it would be good if there were people who are friendly and can put smile on them please .. sad that it dint go as planned :(..

Good environment only transport facilities have problems need to go by Auto and auto fare for 8 km 150 Rs. Good and peaceful area

It's one of the unforgettable place. We didn't visit there for specific purpose but to visit it for its importance around. I went with my friends and spent a wonderful 2hrs walking around the woods. Really it's an escape into silence. For real such a refreshing place.

Good place for information about auroville. Many activities for visitors like restaurant, museum, information centre, cafeteria, boutique, souvenir shop etc.

Not for everyone. But if you have time please go ahead.

The cafes were a bit pricey. Not worth the extra effort on a summer day if not visiting the inner sanctum.

You can get all the information about the temple and community. The pictorial representation of the auroville community was awesome. You must visit once if you are near Pondicherry.

The entire Ashram area is a good place to walk around with spend your time understanding the history behind it. The meditation center is off limits for visitors, but the area is very calm and Serene
