Great breakfast and dinner buffet. They have such a remarkable selection of foods and appetizers to keep you full for days. The meats and seafood are so delicious you won't be able to stop eating. During breakfast they have characters come around so you can take pictures and small little shows and interactions from the cast.

My family meet some friends and had pupus and drinks at 'Olelo Room. The menu had changed since we were last there and we were disappointed to see they no longer had kalua pig nachos, but the kalua pig gratin was very delicious. We also ordered the popcorn fries and loved them so much we got a second order!

Tickets to Hawaii run about $1,500 from most parts of the US mainland. In typical Disney fashion, they screw anyone with more than two kids over by making you stay in a suite and jacking up the price of your stay by double. So for the five of us to stay it would have run about $12,000 before airfare, and about $20,000 total for one week's vacation? That is before spending money and food? We make decent money but that is out of reach for the vast majority. Do what we did on our recent Hawaii trip if you have kids; rent through VRBO. We got a lovely beachfront condo on Maui for $395 a night, made breakfast and lunch ourselves, and saved a boatload of cash. Our kids still got to say they went to Hawaii to boot, they didn't give a crap that they didn't go to the DISNEY branded resort. Disney has extorted enough money from me over the last decade, I'm done!!

If you are planning a wedding, this is a beautiful place to have it. The lawn area is beautiful and there's also a chapel if you prefer be inside. The ballroom is also very pretty and the food top notch. The desserts are divine, especially the creme brulee!! Service is excellent, and there was even a surprise visit from the top Mr and Mrs Mouse!

A great place to stay for the kids with outstanding customer service. The pools are excellent, the slides are fun and the staff is otherworldly friendly. I guess my only reason for potentially marking down is the high cost. Yes, you pay for what you get (and when you go Disney you get a very high level experience) but the price is a little steep in terms of what you get. Maybe it s because I live in Hawaii but I have to think that the price point is a touch high. But we were able to book on the locals rate and my kids had the time of their lives. The rooms (while not overly spacious) are very nice. I d recommend doing a room with an ocean view as the views on the non-ocean side of the hotel are rather drab. Definitely a must stay if you are in the area but be prepared to pay a high cost for this high level of service.

Aloha! Aulani is a beautifully built mega resort in paradise that's a must visit. My family and I loved the pool and ocean cove at the resort. So many water activities! My favorite being the infinity 'hot tubs' that face the ocean. It's an amazing place to watch the sunset! We had a delux studio with an island garden view. It was nice being able to watch the Luau from our balcony. You can save money by visiting the ABC store across the street for quick meals. Fyi Eggs and things is a must. Pools and the resort start to quiet down early. Luckily the jet lag had us crawling into bed around 7. Rent a car and explore the island (DVC parks for free!). Can't wait to go back. Such an incredible experience!

I loved Aulani! It was well decorated, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and it was wonderfully family friendly. The views were amazing and there was plenty to do there. It was also within walking distance of cute shops and restaurants if you wanted something different from what was offered at the resort.

The location is absolutely beautiful. It reminds us of a mini Atlantis with the lazy river, pools and beach. It's really really nice. Some tips for everyone: 1) they were offering an upgrade to our villa to be ocean facing and high floors. They wanted $300/night and put us on the 2nd floor. I told them that it was fine and 2 hours later, we got a call that we can upgrade to the 12th floor, facing the ocean for $90/night!!! Don't take the upgrade they offer you initially but inquire about it and let them know that you'd really like one, but for cheaper. Hold out and you'll get a call back with a better offer.
2) if you're not sitting downstairs, by a chair and umbrella, good luck getting a chair throughout the day. At the pool area, if you're down there by 10am or even 9am, you're not getting a chair or an umbrella. The facilities are amazing but the pool chairs and lounges are too little for the amount of people that come in.
3) walk for 5 minutes across the street to get pizza at the restaurant at the plaza. They have a magician that does tricks while you wait, pizza is unreal and the garlic bread and cinnamon buns that come with it are the best you'll ever have.
4) make sure you eat at moneypod. The best meal I've had in my life is there - poke tuna tacos and pulled pork tacos, along with a Mai tai are amazing. It's way cheaper than food at Disney and significantly better

Enjoy everyone!!

Stayed here overnight with the kids. It was awesome. So many thinks to do, especially for the kids. The pool, the beach, the character breakfast, the scavenger hunt, aunties house. Highly recommended if you have younger kids.

A beautiful Disney resort on Oahu in Ko Olina. Everything you would expect from Disney. The room was comfortable for our family of 4. We stayed in a deluxe studio. The kitchenette allowed us to do quick and simple breakfast and lunch. The food was great at Ulu Cafe and the character breakfast was a lot of fun for the kids. The luau was a great evening of entertainment and delicious food. Aunties House was awesome for our 7 year old. It gave her a place to do some fun activities with other kids and the childcare was included in the price of the stay! The resort has a nice quiet bay for beach swimming so no stress with the kids out in the water. The pools, slides and lazy river were great. There were all sorts of other free activities too. This is an excellent choice for families. It was nice touches of Disney but not over the top. Just enough for the kids to love the experence. So if you're like me and can too much Disney, this place won't overwhelm you. It was a perfect blend of family friendly Disney fun and beautiful Hawaiian vacation.

Aulani is a wonderful family resort that has the Disney charm all over it. From the private lagoon to the water rides and the reef, it has all the elements of a Hawaiian resort. It also adds Disney charm with characters tastefully thrown in without getting to be overwhelming. Kid friendly resort designed not just for kids but also their parents- this is a great place for a vacation.

There is a complete lack of respect for privacy and their policy concerning this is extremely disruptive and invasive. One example was when the person cleaning the windows came down on ropes in front of our balcony. I was shocked to see someone look in at eye level because we were on the 8th floor. A few hours later, someone entered our room (even though we had the occupied sign on the door) to give us written notice about the window cleaner. A note under the door (instead of entering our room) BEFORE they started the work would have sufficed. And, more importantly, although they do not clean the room during the stay, they enter the room multiple times a day, even with the "occupied" sign on the door. We were woken up from naps twice after a long boat excursion. And, a housekeeper began to enter the room when my husband was exiting the shower. I stopped her at the door and asked why she was there for the 3rd time that day. She pointed to her phone and said she needed to enter. Without my intervention, that could have been an uncomfortable situation for both my husband and that staff. My husband called and spoke with her supervisor. He said it is their policy to enter the rooms whenever and how often they want. He said they don't need a purpose and they do that with every room. We were not satisfied with that answer, especially since it is very disruptive for them to enter the room multiple times a day without a purpose (I.e. a leak, housekeeping, something!) We then went to the front desk to express our concern to management, but management refused to speak with us. The lady at the front was trained to be the "gate keeper" and listen. She said "95% of their guests liked to be checked on". It is hard to believe that 95% of the guests like to be woken from a deep nap after being on an excursion all day, or to have someone walk- in when they are walking out of the shower. Not only is this not good for guests, it is not good for their employees. The next day we asked to speak with the General Manager, and again, management refused to speak with us. We then spoke with a lower level supervisor that said they began checking all of the rooms because of the "Vegas Incident". This was a scary thought. Do they think someone is going to shoot people from the windows so they have to enter everyones room everyday, even when they have a "occupied" sign up? I don't know, but I hope not. What I do know is that we were very much looking forward to staying at Aulani for their amenities, however, we did not get to use the ones that were important to us because they were either not maintained or under maintenance. We also did not have a comfortable bed to sleep in, the room was dusty and not well kept, and we were disrupted by staff multiple times a day. Aulani charges a price similar to Marriott and Westin and in some ways are similar, but Aulani does not use the same quality beds, pillows, or appliances. Aulani has a policy to disrupt the guests, and management does not want feedback, which indicates they don't care what their guests think and they do not want to make an effort to improve. For these reasons, I give Aulani 1 star and will be staying at the Marriott or Westin next time.

The "Happiest Place" in Hawaii is here, especially for the Keiki. You won't have to leave the resort for much of anything.

Fitness room is adequate for vacation and is open 24 hours - one of few that are!

The kids (and adults) have a lot of activities, especially the "scavenger hunt," which is great to do as a family. One suggestion: do it when it's darker for a better effect and experience.

Janice at Wailana makes everyone feel the Aloha and like Ohana - Kama'aina and Malihini. For the locals, you feel right at home cause you hear, "lovey," "baby," "I got you, babe," "sweetie, "Bruddah." And while some resorts frown on this kind of local "talk," we locals - and visitors - enjoy and appreciate it. I sat at her bar for a half hour from 6am and every single engagement - about 30 of them - enjoyed their conversation and walked away with a smile. THAT is the Aloha Spirit in action.

Disney's Aulani is a beautiful place as you would expect. Service is also top notch, as expected. Room accommodations, especially for DVC members, are outstanding. We live close by and come to the property for staycations. Opening now after shutdowns, they are still on top of everything. High recommendation from our ohana!

It is good to meet Disney characters, but as adults, it is best to be able to leave the noise of Honolulu and receive Disney-quality services. And the beauty of the sunset is also the best.

Everything about our stay has been spectacular, and nothing short of wonderful. The atmosphere, the mood, the service. Yes, it s busy but it s Disney and everything Disney is popular and busy. However, it s all worth the wait and I haven t experienced anything that would cause for me to say the negative reviews were accurate. It s pricy but so nice and relaxing. We will be back soon!

Good for tourists looking to relax with no hassle. Rooms at Aulani have a flat screen TV, a refrigerator, and a kitchenette, and there s free wifi.

Guests have access to room service and a concierge. You can also enjoy a pool and breakfast. Self parking is a little expensive but available next to the Aulani entrance.

There s usually lots of kids and noise so this might not be the most romantic getaway for couples. It s pretty cose to some of Kapolei's most popular landmarks like Ihilani Spa and Ko Olina Marina.

Other attractions near Kapolei are the Naval Air Museum Barbers Point, which is a popular military museum.

We visited for a breakfast buffet, and it was great! There was a large selection of food available, and it was very tasty! We also enjoyed the interaction with Disney characters and the hostess. The resort itself is beautiful and the beach was pristine.

Stayed for 8 days and that was too long. Not much to do at the resort. Be very careful with the cement by pools or anywhere you walk where it is wet. Very slippery. Saw many people fall. The food is expensive at the resort, a little bit cheaper across the street. Characters were not very visible. There is suppose to be a pool party at the resort with the characters, that never happened. When you go to a meet and greet, there is only one character there. Kind of a let down.

Not really any lines to unless you count stuff you need to register for or tub slides. Kids friendly. Some okay dinning options. I recommend the poke bowl, fresh salmon, tuna, shrimp or tofu, sushi rice, veggies and sauce for extra flavor.

Out of the two resorts I have stayed at on the island this is by far my favorite. Even though part of it was not accessible due to maintenance being done. My Wife and myself stayed here for the first 3 nights of our Honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. I would come here again in a heartbeat. The only downside is it is a little pricey, but you can make it work if you plan it out.

I visited Aulani for a wedding reception. The resort is incredibly beautiful and enormous. The staff was friendly and tended to our needs promptly. The gift shops have a plethora of Disney themed items for purchase. Parking was $10 for guests and $39 for overnight.

Very expensive. Activities such as swimming with fishes must also be paid extra for. We met Minni Mouse two hours before we could check in. After checking in at 4pm we met no one! Expensive food. I also experienced greasy bed with "bugs". Disgusting. The only thing they have done so far is to ask for apology and clean sheets. Don't know if I can sleep here. Good crockery and good food at "Ama Ama" restaurant. Our stay was NOT every money! Despite being very expensive and much negative, there are a lot of people here. Elisabeth Lavik. norway

We stayed in a 2 room suite, more than enough room for 6 adults and 3 children. Tons of stuff to do for adults and kids, Disney characters are out at random just walking around, and at certain spots on schedule for pictures and autographs. Breakfast and dinner "with the characters" is a great experience, and the food is excellent, not your typical buffet offerings. The Alamo rental car they have onsite is very convenient if you want a car for a day or two to explore the island, but I recommend you reserve a car well in advance as they run out quickly.
