My room had an ant infestation. I noticed it in the morning after staying one night. I reported it to the front desk who said they would send someone to take care of it. When I returned that evening the problem had worsened significantly. When I informed the staff they were extremely apologetic and changed my room. Overall I would say that the staff was great but the ant situation did not make me eager to return.

The hotel overlooks the river and belays the overall size of the property (which is very large). The restaurant has very nice cuisine and a rustic ambience. The convention center rooms are voluminous and can be combined for almost any event function. Service is excellent and plenty of parking.

Fantastic rooms and great service. Unfortunately not much in the way of quick and easy breakfast, other than a small Starbucks. Also some complimentary milk would be nice for coffee but overall a very good experience.

I was in love with this place so much so i only stay here every time I m in town! However the last two times I ve stayed here my rooms were nasty , sheets dirty , linen dingy as smelled as if they just refolded someone else s towels and cloths already used! I called downstairs for clean linen was told it was on the way they never came I ended up sleeping on my sweater on the couch all night! I m super disappointed

Wow, roomy and upscale. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The SC and GA borderline is a short walk away. This place also is attached to a hotel and the rooms are great. One could get lost here very easily. Large stage with plenty of room for 1k-plus attendees.

Beautifully located along side the river walk and walking distance to multitude of dining. Really no need to walk to get something to eat as the Italian restaurant on site is great. Perfect location for gatherings. While there a Military Ball for soldiers from Fort Gordon and a wedding were held.

Recently had a positive experience at this property. Room was clean but the bathroom was a little small. Loved the hardwood floor which is much cleaner than carpet and easier to maintain. Wish all hotels would move to hardwood floors. River view was great. Was on the 8th floor and did not have hot water initially but the hotel remedied the problem in very short order. Would have preferred a facility that was not pet friendly. Garage parking spots were a little tight and not enough of them but this issue was handled by outdoor parking. Definitely would stay here again.

Great place for a large event. There is parking on site, and a multi story parking deck right across the street. There are two hotels connected to the center. Within walking distance of many restaurants and bars.

The Augusta Marriott is a fantastic hotel with everything you could ever want. The staff is accommodating and very professional. They have an Italian Restaurant with a full bar, and the food and service are first class. They have a gated outdoor pool with beautiful views of the historic Savannah River. They are located on the Riverwalk in the middle of historic downtown Augusta Georgia on Reynolds Street. I highly recommend you consider this hotel for your next visit to Augusta.

The room was good, nice and clean and everything seemed in good repair. The major problem I had with this hotel, as odd as it sounds, was the hallway sound. I'm not sure if the doors were thin or what, but I could hear everything going on in the hallway very clearly even over the sound of the air conditioner fan. People letting their doors slam shut was especially jarring. I noticed the same problem with the adjoining room door. When the person next door opened his door it shook the door between our rooms and I could hear him going about his business in there. The light from his room also shone under the door. I ended up shoving pillows down there then some furniture up against the door to stop it from rattling every time he opened the door.

This Marriot has a friendly staff and whatever you need for your stay. A small indoor pool, quiet restaurant (Augustine s), and easy access to the riverwalk and downtown. The rooms have been recently updated.

Great hotel. Amazing dinning and views of the downtown Augusta area. Just minutes from downtown, Washington Road, North Augusta, or Aiken. Just grab a free map of the area at the desk and start your journey.

The front desk people were condecending, patronizing and rude. The "lesser" help went out of their way to be helpful and go above and beyond! One especially helpul and attentive person was George Aiken. My mark would have been even lower w/o some these people

Location is great. The boardwalk and availability of dining options was nice. We stayed in the suites albeit they are far from new the rooms were clean and very well laid out. Beds were average and the common spaces were not high end but not objectionable. Staff is very courteous.

Attended the Navy Ball at the Marriott. The event was beautiful and service was good. Food was excellent. We decided to stay the night, which made it much easier than driving home at midnight. The room was clean and spacious. We had breakfast at Augustino's the next morning. The omelet bar was delicious!

Do not forget to put your Do not disturb sign or you will be DISTURBED! Check in at 4 and checkout at 11 and you don't get time to even enjoy the room. The staff does not brief customers to put their sign up or they will be awakened as early as 0830 by housekeeping. The least they can do is brief you when you check in. It is rude, unprofessional, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go somewhere else where you can get some rest and the staff truly cares for their customers!

Shower floor was dirty, dried up urine was on the toilet, blood or make up was on the bathroom door frame, and dust covered the wall where the headboards rest against. With just the light from the nightstand is on, you can see handprints in the dust. If you don't care about cleanliness, the beds are comfortable and there is a large 60' inch tv to watch.

This is a very nice and welcoming hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Very, very clean. Group meals and Friday night banquet was well organized with quick meal service. As I am in a wheelchair, I didn't receive a room as requested but it was accessible. Some improvements in accessibility could be made to the room and probably reservation system should ensure customer gets room requested at time of reservation.

Everyone here has been wonderful. From the restaurant to the front desk the service has been gracious and incredibly helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And the location is beautiful, right next to the museum and Riverwalk. Perfect for a work getaway.

I was extremely disappointed that my event was cancelled at the convention center and the Marriott would not issue a refund for the room I booked in December (nearly 10 months before my actual stay and before COVID became a pandemic). The kind lady on the phone told me that if I booked in April, when at least I would have known the risk, then she could issue a refund. Poorly written policy and ensures that I never stay at a Marriott while I live and breathe on this planet.
