My wife and I stayed for one night on 25 May 2014.
Check in staff very friendly and concierge very helpful. We were happy with our acropolis view and the bed was very comfortable, and room was tidy. Don't forget to put "Do not Disturb" sign on door if you don't want to be disturbed. We were interrupted 3 times by housekeeping staff, asking if we needed anything. They just opened the door without even knocking.
We were very angry that the Premiere Restaurant was closed (Sunday and Mondays), as we wanted to dine outside with view of Acropolis, which is one reason we chose to stay there.
Shuttle bus was very good, being able to take us where we needed to go. Bell staff very helpful.
On checking out, we got the most unprofessional person ever. She looked unhappy, and didn't make eye contact at all.
The hotel itself is quite out of the way of most attractions, so would stay elsewhere if I ever did go back to Athens.

Nice and big room, but there is no nice view from the window. The food was not very tasty at breakfast. It is quite far from the interesting and tourists part of athens, so the location is not good. To make up for it, they have a shuttle service, which takes you to the tourists places and back, every 1-2h

The hotel is located near the main attractions of the city, but does not have easy access via public transport. The best way to get to and from the hotel is by taxi. The hotel service is excellent. The best attention to guests. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with everything you need to spend a few days in the city.

I had a one night stay here due to not booking my Airbnb for the right amount of days. Room is big and clean. Hotel is very busy. Location could not be worse, very far from the acropolis and other major attractions if compared to other hotels in the city center with the acropolis in walking distance. Staff isn t all that nice either for a five star. There are far better hotels in Athens for the price. The roof top bar is quite nice however. The whole ambiance of the hotel, with the somewhat unpleasant staff, I will look elsewhere next time in Athens.

A little mix up in the room but they fixed it right away with a smile. Elevators are a little wonky. Sometimes they won't take you to your floor. Great service at the free breakfast buffet.

He no longer justifies the 5 stars because his age appears to be starting to appear. The rooms are spacious and in general all the auxiliary rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is bad enough and unfortunately is below average. The staff at the reception win the impressions. Access is easy though there is difficulty in parking unless you leave it on site

5-Star Hotel in Athens, Greece. A very superior and marvelous hotel to stay, I must say. I stayed here while I was on my trip to Greece and I must say, it was worth staying here. Although the hotel is expensive, but it surely provides you the complete luxury and comfort.

Rooms:
The rooms are good, but not very huge and spacious I feel and it can get clumsy and when 2-3 people stay in a room. But rooms are very good with excellent ambience and luxurious washrooms

Shopping and Spa:
There's a shopping area in the hotel itself and also they have a special spa service for it's customers, which is paid though.

Food:
Excellent food service is given here with buffet system provides different styles of food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) having all it needs to have a fancy meal.

Pool:
Theres a swimming pool here, which I thought was clean but not well maintained as some tiles inside the water were broken and worn off.

Parking:
Enough parking space is available here and also you can book cabs taxis form the hotel itself for pickup and drop facility.

Overall it's an excellent hotel. The manager and staff here are very kind and are on-point in their services. All the things are very well managed by them. Enjoyed my stay here. Do undoubtedly stay here when you're traveling to Athens, Greece.
Thank You.

The hotel is very nice and well located. The maitre d'hotel suggested a supperb restaurant where me and my partner had a traditional Greek meal. If you like to walk around this is also a good place to stay. We walked up to the centre in 20 minutes. Quite safe area too. Important to note that the room is just enormous! Unfortunately, we didn't get the breakfast package. No wi-fi internet connection (until May 2014).

The InterContinental Athenaeum has the best and la...

The InterContinental Athenaeum has the best and large stateroom and the largest and ellegant lobby among two InterContinental hotels in Los Angeles and one in San Diego.

It does not charge any Resort Fees. The front desk staffers have no idea what is the Resort Fees is.

Buying the InterContinental Club access is worth it at $80.00 for two.

The hotel provides a shuttle bus every 30 minutes to/from Syntagma square, from which you can walk to a world famous Acropolis where you can take a breathtaking Acropolis views and visit Acropolis Musiem from which you can see and take a photo of 5 original Caryatids, Porch of Mainden. The 6th figure is still in the British museum.

You must visit the top roof bar or restaurant at the 9th floor to have a great view of Acropolis and Parthenon, if you do not have an access to the Club Lounge.

Please be aware that most yellow cab drivers refuse to take you back from the Plaka area to the hotel due to a short distance ride and a large demonstration that blocked the main streets. You may need to have an alternative plan by using Uber. Finally, I paid $20 euro for a short ride back to the hotel.

Please be aware that tell your cab driver that a flat fee of $38 euro when you start to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. One driver turned on a meter to charge my wife $45 euro from the airport to hotel.

Also, from the hotel to the cruise terminal, the front desk staff told us that it usually costs $10 euro. He is correct, but the taxi driver today asked us for $20 euro after ending the ride because of the four luggages charges he told us.

A hopon/hopoff bus will stop by at the hotel.

Most staff are very friendly.

Good breakfast.

Good breakfast.
Be sure to bring the Kores shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and soap provided. To buy at the airport it is 3 euros each.

The name is intrinsic to the quality. Great place with highly trained staff. Modern space suitable for business appointments. Close to downtown but not so annoying. With comfortable parking and plenty of services for travelers.

The hotel absolutely does not pull on 5 stars. The staff is not adequate all forgets or it is constantly out of place. The rooms are large but the part with the old repair. The location is bad around the devastation. Breakfast is very expensive 35 euros and the selection is small. For the money in Athens, you can dine.
