Beautiful hotel high standard nice pool and very polite staff. The breakfast is awesome 20mn walking to acropolis.

Nice hotel, beautiful areas for meetings, events. The room felt a little dated but overall a tremendous place to stay.

It is the best hotel in Athens. In particular, the roof top bar has the best night view. I can see the parfaiton temple.

We arrived tired from our journey and were greeted warmly and were escorted up to our room and had champagne waiting for us. We mentioned it was our honeymoon. I have never been treated so kindly at any IHG hotel. Their guest services staff is on point and definitely doing something right. I wished we had stayed longer in Athens. I will always stay here if I return. Thank you for making our stay wonderful and taking the small amount of time to make us feel special.
The hotel is walking distance to all major historical sites of the city and has plenty of taxi and Uber s our front as well.

A truly amazing hotel. Took advantage of the Free Shuttle Bus to get into Town. The Staff were fabulous and couldn't do enough for us.

Very nice hotel 20 'walk from the historic center. The staff is very nice and available.
The negative point are the surroundings that have deteriorated .... vestiges not so ancient since the economic crisis.

The hotel is very comfortable, the staff is very good, especially the restaurant staff, very honest, and the mobile phone also tells the guests immediately, it is worthy of praise.

Original review relates to my immense disappointment on the damaged luggage handle and the management s terrible attitude and service towards addressing the issue. Immediate and only response from the hotel was to deny all responsibility and in turn claim that it must be damaged at the airport. Below is my further response to the hotel s reply:
Thank you for the official statement again, ignoring again the fact that the luggage was left intact at the lobby by myself. I have the habit of 1) checking my luggage before check in at airport and after i get it back at baggage claim, 2) before it is handed off at the coach and after it comes off the coach, hence I can be 100% sure that the luggage handle was intact when I left it in the hotel lobby because it was checked per habit. This was communicated to the manager. He had no explanation then for the damage which must have happened between hotel lobby and the room. The luggage was just left on its side outside the room after a knock on the door. The offer to repair came only after it was pointed out that there was no report/communication of any existing damage to the luggage to the manager nor the client prior to the complaint; a report is supposed to be have been made in accordance to manager s claim of the procedures that were in place and strictly adhered to. Anyhow, it is duly noted that the hotel shall and will always & only maintain its own version of truth. Hope this clarifies.

Very noisy, very poorly insulated (I heard absolutely everything from the next room, even when they coughed).
Too bad because otherwise the rooms are good.

Big, cozy rooms, nice lobby area and good internet connection. Gym is a bit small though -consodering the size and the capacity of the hotel.

This hotel has it all in spades: gym, spa, restaurants, business rooms, cleanliness, quiet rooms, comprehensible climate controls, power sockets, etc. Two minor quips: only two check-in /check-out counters (out of three total) were staffed during my week-long stay, which resulted in long waits for me and others. Also, the climate control in my room was not working properly (wouldn't stop cooling) so I had to turn it off during the night.

To many single beds in hotel rooms needs more king sized beds and needs to not have construction going on top floor of sun bed area during peak season

Big rooms, kind staff, breakfast was ok and consistented of 3 way eggs, fresh salad , french toast and fresh fruits, bacon and beans.

Visited this hotel only for one evenings stay, due to a cancellation of my flight. Superb service, wonderful room and the staff could not do enough to help!

It remains in a very good condition but needs a big change if it wants to stay on top.

I was amazed at the excellent service and facilities provided by this hotel.
Starting from the pleasant and very well informed staff at the reception to the high quality food in all the restaurants we visited.
Even if we traveled as a couple, this resort is an earthly paradise for families with children!

Overpriced space that makes staff and property lose their sense of proportion.
The exaggeration of the previous decade accommodated fallen aristocrats and super-rich neo-rich and various "Emirs"
The restaurant, however, is unique and of very high gastronomy.
As a conference space it is one of the best in Greece with very experienced staff and very good infrastructure.

You know exactly what you are getting with this 5* Hotel. Need to ensure it doesn't rest on its laurels.

+ Extremely friendly staff. Met all expectations of service! Upgraded to a suite with hugely welcoming reception.
+ Very good location between main port and central. Bit of a walk to town but happy to do.

- The bathroom was the most disappointing part of the room. Small, pokey and not anything like what one would expect when compared with competitors.

Not the best Intercontinental hotel, but was pleasant and the concierge was helpful exept for our last day. I requested a cab for very early morning the previous evening and there was no record of it. Good thing I got ready early amd headed down to wait, otherwise I would have missed my flight.

Very nice and accessible hotel near the center, great place / ballroom that hosted the event I visited, very good cuisine, very helpful staff. It is also worth a drink at the on-site bar on the ground floor.

Very decent hotel with professional staffs and sumptuous choice of breakfast items, with which one can have a lot of fun. The lobby is very nicely appointed with an impressive blue glass statue. It looks to me much like someone in the Yoga half-moon pose, but I figure the artist might have some other expressions to make. The room is neat and tidy. Overall the stay was quite pleasant and satisfactory.

One of the best barman that you will ever meat is at the Premiere Bar... Ask for George Tsiknakos and enjoy his excellent Cocteils !!!
