A very nice hotel with a very spacious and bright room. The service is excellent.
The only downside is the excessive price of catering. I had never seen such rates at other intercontinental hotels.

Excellent hotel, I was here at the conference.
Therefore, I do not know what the numbers and what kind of service here.
But I think that everything is up to par.
There is also a pool on the roof, so you can swim overlooking the city

The hotel is very nice and not too far from various sites around the city. There are a couple of nice restaurants in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious!! Service was great. The only negative thing I have is that you have to pay for wifi. Apart from that, room, amenities, and service was all great!

We liked our stay here at the Intercontinental. During check in we were greeted with impeccable hospitality.
The room we received was on the 7 floor (714) this did not have a view of acropolis due to a large building.
The room was large and clean, all normal services are offered. The Internet is pay per use, 6 euro for the basic package per 24 hour period and up to 3 devices.
We received a bottle of complementary wine during our stay and made for a perfect evening with room service.
We also used the premier restaurant that has a great view of the acropolis. Formal clothing in this award winning restaurant.
There are paid movies to watch on tv 18 euro per show this seems excessive.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Rooms were clean, modern, and quiet. The pool area was nice. The only downside of this hotel was the cost. 16.50 for a cocktail was a bit outrageous. Other than the cost, I can't complain about this hotel.

This is my favourite hotel in the entire world. I travel a fair bit, and this is certainly what I would call luxury. The staff are the kindest, most genuine people, who are amazing at speaking English, but also helped me improve my Greek which I am very grateful for. The view is STUNNING. You have perfect view of the Parthenon from your hotel room window, and on the club lounge balcony, there are so mant photo opportunities, especially at night when the Parthenon is lit up and it looks even more gorgeous. There is also a free shuttle bus that comes every half an hour to take you to Syntagma Square, which I was very thankful for. To make this hotel even more fabulous, of course there's a pool, which is large and very fun. This hotel made my holiday all the better. 10/10

Nice big hotel, with helpful staff. The area though central, with access to the media, I would say is not something special. Prices would not be considered affordable. It is one of the well priced hotels that you get paid for.

Very nice property all around. Be sure to make it to the rooftop restaurant at sundown for the Parthenon illumination. Workout center is first class for a hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. We were in 304. Great stay. Tell them GoyoGTO influenced your decision. Thanks!! Please consider giving me a like for the review.

One of my favourite hotels is the Intercontinental Athenaeum in Athens. It's not because it is especially well located or has a great architectural style, it is because it has fantastic views over the city and especially the Acropolis. Having breakfast in the club lounge looking at the ancient world is fantastic. The hotel is located about a half hour drive from the airport and within walking distance of some of Athens best attractions. The rooms are modern and big as are the bathrooms. The only drawback is a lack of power points in the room especially around the bed. There is a great gym with a pool and a full service Spa, great restaurants and bars in the hotel as well as around the hotel. The club lounge has an excellent offering on both food and drinks with great staff and great service. Overall a great hotel, making it hard to leave and explore the town.

It's a bit further than most will like for the sites, but they run shuttles constantly in the direction of the historic sites. And it really isn't a bad walk.

The hotel itself is very well maintained and appointed. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the guests as well. On first glance, the surrounding neighborhood may not look very nice by American standards, but it is completely safe. Make sure you get a room with a view of the Acropolis. Otherwise you might be looking at not so nice buildings.

Each of the restaurants we tried was more than acceptable, with Premier on the roof having excellent service and food, despite a limited menu.

One minor knock, for which I did not deduct a star, is the in house laundry service. A complete and utter ripoff. I could literally just buy new underwear and socks for the cost of laundering each of these items.

The hotel is wonderful on almost all aspects, other than the location, which reduces it attractiveness slightly.

The free shuttle bus to the center is rather infrequent (every hour or so), and the walk to the Metro station is along a busy highway and rather unpleasant. So you're stuck with taking taxis, and they tend to be rather dishonest.

The place is new and spotless clean. The rooms are spacious, the beds are large, the A/C works well, so does the wi-fi. The view from one side of the corridor is of a neglected, deserted building, and from the other side of the corridor somewhat better views.

The is a small pool (not for laps) and a gym.

The service from everyone: concierge, check-in/out, breakfast staff, cleaning staff, etc. was all atthe best level.

An ordinary hotel. Mainly intended for mass conferences. I did not live here, I was as a conference participant for 3 days. I can only evaluate the work of the waiters who served visitors in the lobby bar and around the perimeter of Ground Floor. Confused orders, inattentive, lazy, frostbitten. They waited for payment for almost an hour, the waiter did not even think to apologize. Full pofigizm, but it is a common thing in the restaurants of Athens.

Very big hotel. I do think ideal for groups and mice. For individual this is too big ... And the nearest tube station is around 10 to 15 min walking distance.
The staff is really caring and the rooms are huge ! It was a very very nice stay.

Great hotel, poor location.
The room is perfect, same with breakfast and with the business lounge. The location is not pleasant, but it ks not much of a problem since Uber was invented...

I have visited the cafeteria of this amazing hotel, and I have taken natural orange juice. Wonderful and very comfortable and lively space, I was in this place, for a Christmas bazaar, where branded shops in the field of clothing and jewelry participated, among them of which the jewelry store Kaisaris. I have heard that it provides very high level services. If there were ten stars, of course I would put.

A very nice hotel! We enjoyed our stay. Our room was a good size with a king size bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us. There really isn't anything within easy waking distance but they do have a free small shuttle bus that goes to the Plaka. But we couldn't find the pick up area to go back to hotel. Luckily a taxi ride is easy to find and is a short ride. The cost is between 5 - 8 . The restraunt was on the expensive side for us so we decided to eat elsewhere. Example: 2 Coke lights and a chocolate - banana crepe was 27.50 by the way the crepe was awesome.

Amazing hotel with a wide variety of facilities for its guests. The location is so close to the main touristic areas by taxi. The rooms are spacious and cozy. It may be very crowded during summer.

Here my first impression (day 1 of 4): I would rate the Hotel as a 4 star plus category accomodation. So far so good.... Everthing is quite ok! But if a Espresso Macchiato is charged with 6,50 I "feel cheated" especially if the Macchiato is average and definitely not outstanding..... Sorry Interconti but that's too much - we are in Athen and not Zurich or Moscow or Tokio.

Nice hotel from the outside and inside. The location, while easy for cabs, is really but the best. Felt like it would be a good hotel for business travellers and a bit less for holiday travel.
