FABULOUS!! We just got home from "Wicked" and it was worth every penny! The Gammage has great seats, and the sound is perfect, all the way to the top. Parking is not too bad; save yourself some walking and pay the $10 to park AT the Gammage.

I thought it was odd that seating only opened just before the show. I saw many people still trying to get to their seats when the show started. The sound quality was not great. I found myself struggling to hear dialogue.

We went last night to Something Rotten. We sat in the first tier balcony. The sound was distorted and ear splittingly loud. Last time we went to Book of Mormon and sat in orchestra seats and the sound was better. Gammage is too large to be a good venue for musicals. They have never gotten good sound to any of the seats but some orchestra seats. We left at intermission and were insulted for leaving by one of the guards at the door. Mesa Center for the Arts and Herberger are vastly superior places to see a show.

Lovely venue, but not happy sitting up in top balcony (only place with the "cheap seats" that were $64 w/many attached fees!). At least there is an elevator to get up there Scary getting to seat (so steep!) and little room to walk past others in the row. Good thing we had binoculars to see characters on stage. Probably won't go there again.

The play (Wicked) was amazing and I recommend it to everyone.. even to first time play goers like me! The theater itself is ok. Seemed a little dated once we got to our seats and I looked around. For how much ASU pulls in and how much construction they have going on, I honestly expected it to be alot nicer. I will say that my 7th row seats were awesome. I could see the actors facial expressions. I'd go back, but I do hope they modernize it at some point. The 1970 orange seats could use some freshening up

We went to ASU Gammage for the Summers Show. It was spectacular. All 3 singers representing Donna did a fabulous job. Music, songs and set up were greatly done. Will be back for additional shows.

We have recently seen Les Miserable, School of Rock, Cinderella, Hamilton and will see a few more in the next few months here. I like watching plays here, but it makes a huge difference sitting in lower orchestra pit center stage. We saw The Lion King here a few years back from the balcony and were very disappointed. It gets a little cramped in the lobby a during intermission and exiting the parking lot can take a good 30 minutes when in VIP (orange I believe), but worth it for a good play!

I was in the balcony, acoustics could have been better but to see Rent for $23 I won't complain. The general decor in the waiting areas is pretty dated, and their concessions stands are lacking both in selection and speed.

Loved that they had several concession stands and bathrooms nearby the different seating sections. It was clean inside and didn't feel cramped with the seating. Bathrooms were a little dated.

We are season ticket holders in the nose bleed balcony. We love that Gammage brings affordable shows to the area! My only complaint, and the only reason this isn't 5 stars, is that obstructed views for balcony seating are rarely communicated. I would be fine with occasional obstruction if it was communicated to ticket holders.

It was pretty nice, I guess. The whole place needs updating. They need bathrooms on the lower level of the stage right outside the doors. That way people in wheelchairs don t have to wait for the very small elevator to go up to the next level when they need to go. The seats aren t very comfy. The padding in them is going down hill.

Wow, My 1st Time Every Witnessing A Full Blown Black Step Show. A Multipurpose Performing Arts Areana, Located Right Next Door, Not Far From My Dorm...Do They Still Call Them Dorms?, LOL. I Was So Poor As A College Hippie, But Felt Ever So Rich Being Able To Sit In This Handsome Building.

I love seeing shows here. I just wish they could figure out the sound system. In the balcony it was hard to hear at times.

We bought season tickets for Sunday evenings and will be in the mezzanine so that'll be great. I love the shows they get to come and can't wait to enjoy the next season!

I've grown up in Phoenix my whole life, but have been lucky enough to see a wide range of theatre from small theatrical performances at local community theatres to many large broadway shows in NYC. Gammage is well-equipped and managed and gets all of the major broadway shows and tours. It's quite large with fairly ample room in the seats. Parking is a breeze in the evening and weekends as it is free. Best to get there beforehand though, maybe hit up a local downtown Tempe restaurant (there are tons of options), so you can also get a good parking spot.

Wonderful venue, have learned that if you're there for an acoustic event (Broadway show, for example) the main floor is the place to be. Sound on the mezzanines is less than perfect and in the top mezzanine can be distracting and even difficult to follow. Facilities are plentiful, lobbies well managed. Seats are comfortable as well.

Always a great venue for a show. I've seen several plays and was just there for a Warren Miller movie. Love to admire the architecture, and despite the bathrooms being inconveniently located, the crowd movement isn't bad. Looks like they're doing some renovations now, so I'll look forward to seeing that when they're done.

My family and I went to see the show of Aladdin and our experience of the theater was absolutely wonderful! They have a fantastic set up for seating and easy access to the theater itself! Fantastic food and beverage choices and well worth the prices! Staff was friendly, inviting and made the experience more pleasant! And for bathrooms, easy, quick and plentiful!

A wonderful venue to see theater come alive. We have seen many shows here and have always enjoyed the performances.

Some shows have limited merchandise available. Food and drinks available from multiple locations.

Parking is close and convenient.

Am a 5 year season ticket holder and each year the play's Are great but the management of the evening gets worse. Tonight we were allowed into the theater 30 minutes late, the ply started late. A lot of money spent on poor management. Probably will not renew next year.

Season ticket holder. I wish this theater was better, I feel the seats are far, and the acoustics aren't great. Tbh, I have never sat in premium seats, which probably is better (but the cheap seats aren't great)

Great building! I watched Wicked and Book of Mormon from the 6th row of VIP section, and it was amazing! Great sound, great performance. There was a long line for the restrooms during the intermission.
