Great hostel, clean, comfy beds and amazing staff. Becky and Ila were extremely helpful. I couldn't recommend enough.

Location is fantastic. Short walk from Hyde Park, and lots of food nearby. Just a short tube ride to all the major attractions. The rooms are relatively spacious and clean. The service is great. Very friendly staff that is willing to help anytime.

Top hostel, well maintained, good atmosphere, very varied breakfast

A hostel is like a hostel, nothing more. We lived in the 4th room for 4 people. So that's the norm. Bathroom / toilet shared per floor. There are 3-4 rooms per floor. We were there only 1 night, so you can live)
The price was a decisive factor, I've been there and in other hostels, but it's hard to find a good and inexpensive one there.
15 minutes walk from the metro.

I was in this hostel in 2009, since then they have made renovations.
It was an old place with charm, if it is true that there were some mice at night, but it was not usual to find them.
It has a kitchen with everything you need to cook, rooms with private bathroom. It seemed like a good hostel to spend a few days in London. Since the reform, prices have risen.

Great location. Good Service. Just a walk to the underground or bike ride.

Very lovely place to get accomodation just next to the British Museum. Nice 24h staff and has a very useful furniture (auto-laundry, kitchen and cooking stuff, free padlocks, wi-fi...)

This was the most disgusting hostel I've ever stayed in.

Pros:
-Great location in Kensington
-The physical building itself was gorgeous!

Cons:
-Bathroom had no hand towels/toilet paper (thrown on the back of the toilet)
-Floor was constantly wet
-No shower storage (so people's shampoo were on the floor of the shower)
-Ceiling covered in mold
-1 shower/1 toilet for 10 people
-Too many people for our room of that size
-Only one stationary fan
-Communal kitchen was filthy and the floors were sticky.
-NO LIFT. I have CP and I don't require any assistance but I get tired sometimes. Not having a lift should be advertized.
-Trash left behind in the room
-Boogers on the wall?!
-My blanket had weird stains. I asked for a new one and the staff member couldn't find me in the room and just stuffed it on a shelf overhead
-Unhelpful staff. It took my friend and I 15 mins to check in because the person on duty was downstairs drinking and another staff member had to find her. Other guests had to buzz us in.
-Staff drunk and lounging in the stairwell.

Helpful Tip: White vinegar removes mold.

Love to stay there , Super Smily Staff very positive people , Location is in hart of city everything Historical walking or within 2-3kms , free breakfast with tea and coffee , dinner also free friday, saturday and sunday...

Nice location, luggage store small and worst , and stairs to groundfloor steep.

Was a last minute decision. Very comfortable bed, nice and warm. I was on the top floor so it was quiet. I'll stay again for sure if I need a bed

Really nice reception (24/7), nice rooms, free/with donation breakfast has a decent amount of options. Overall a really nice hostel.

While I only explored, not stayed, this is clearly a student hostel.

There was a good service but a lot of dust in the rooms! Another problem is that you have to give document for the simple rent of some accessories when you have already give it at the check in moment.

This hostel has everything you need and is cheap. It is close to a ton of stuff. The staff is the best I have ever met at a hostel. It is large with multiple social rooms. Lockers under each bed were nice. Overall it was very clean.

Friendly staff and plenty of activites most nights. Great location too!

The best hostel I have ever been so far. Though there are several minuses like stairs vs elevator, no chairs in the room, it has a very friendly staff and perfect location. I haven't been much inside as I spent most of my time walking around London but I liked the place.

Value for the money; perfect location, the stuff is friendly; the cinema hall/living room is fantastic. 1 pound charity breakfast is brillant.

However, the impact is now a professional place although always a hostel!
The adventures don't end here anymore!
So he has at his disposal a very well-stocked kitchen (pots, glasses, salt oil, free tea and DIY chicolata), the only condition of course is to wash what gets dirty!
Among other a peculiarity is a cinema with projector in the common room! Really cool!
Every day of the week we organize various events!
I recommend it to everyone! From the busted looking for a party and from those who are looking for or have found a job at the beginning!
And among other things the area is central and very comfortable and stylish!

Easy check-in, great location, average accomodation, very friendly and welcoming staff. Less than 5 minutes walk to Hyde Park, Imperial College, National History Museum and much more.

Each floor is a double, so if you get 2nd floor you would probably be climbing 4 stories via stairs, they do not have elevators. The rooms have ensuite bathrooms, which are clean but not well maintained, the shower curtain was half torn, toilet paper was finished and had to request. They have one pound cold breakfast. Padlocks and travel adaptors can be rented with a deposit of five pounds.

The room was very dusty, the bathroom was under water and it has not been cleaned at all, there was hair in the shower. The shower head was defekt, I asked someone from the hostel to come and fix it, they said they will come the next day and repair it, the next day the shower head was still broken.
For the breakfast you had to poorly choose between some musli and bread with nutella, butter or honey. That was it. Even more: if you don't come early enough, you get no milk. But wait, there is more: we stayed in this hostel because we were on a school trip and on the second day, the manager came to our teacher and told us the following: "Because we are so full, I would beg you to wash the dishes from the breakfast too." ...
I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. It is a "tourist trap" and just a waste of money.

P.S.: The Wi-Fi is not working at all.

I grabbed fleas in that hostel, they did not change my bed, nor did they recognize the lack of cleaning and disinfection. The attention is not good. But the location is very good.

Ideal location friendly helpful staff chilled stmosphere

Personally, it was a little to calm for my liking. Otherwise it was clean and in a beautiful location.

Cool place, with a nice Common Room and nice staff. It is located in a beautiful area, close to the science museum and many embassies. A 12 min walk from the Underground and a 2 min walk from the bus stop. The rooms are not big, but More

This hostel is ok for a quick sleep over the night, if you need a stay or if you want to visit london for two or three days. But not more, the showers, which you have to share with every other room on your floor, are very unhygenic. Flip flops are needed! The Rooms were clean and the beds were ok. The staff is open minded and there are social evenings, where you can come together with other people.

Accustomed to this hostel, in a neighborhood that I particularly like. Very friendly, clean and very well kept, with a very welcoming staff. I will return soon.

I will evaluate the hostel based on important criteria about the stay:

- The staff is friendly and helps you with anything: either in any matter or providing you with supplies such as towels, padlocks, English power adapters, etc.

- The beds are not bad: they have their own light and charger for the mobile.

- For 1 pound you have breakfast as you want with whatever you want (cereal, milk, toast, cookies, cocoa butter, jam, etc.)

For these reasons I give it 5 stars. Then I will summarize details that do not influence the score, because they are factors in which little or nothing can be done by the address, but you can help the person reading this comment to decide:

- The people are very unsociable, practically antisocial, so much so that on the second day I gave up on greeting the guests because none returned the greeting. It seems strange, because there are many rooms with a lot of people, but then you have breakfast and you see how those who speak are those who go in a group, the rest can already give you a heart attack in the middle, they completely ignore you. Since you are mostly English, you will feel lonely.

- The breakfast food, although copious and can be chosen, is not good. The English have a very poor culinary culture.

- It is true that it has no elevator, but it is that if it had it it would not be so cheap, everything has to be paid. I would say that it has its grace and it is good with the environment to go up the stairs. If you want a place with an elevator, you have to pay more every night;)

In short: the hotel meets what it offers, the services and attention they give are magnificent. Instead, do not expect to make friends

One of the best hostel experiences I've had. Love this place.

The staff were welcoming and the bed was clean but there were no privacy curtains on bunks so people coming in and out throughout the night, turning on all lights while they looked for stuff in their bags, made it difficult to stay asleep. The dining area was pleasant.

Nice hostel right next to Hyde Park. 10 minute walk to either the South Kensington or Gloucester Road tube stations on the Piccadilly, District, and Circle lines. Very close to the Science Museum, the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College, the Natural History Museum, and the V&A art museum.

Excellent location, clean rooms for a low price for London

Very affordable is wifi to pay ~ breakfast is milk cereal white cut bread, set 10 people, but because there is no suitable to give 4 people, lived in 10 but only 4 people luck is better overall, from the subway

This is definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

First, the good: excellent beds, AWESOME showers, beautiful historic (but very modern) building, wonderful and safe upscale neighborhood, and great overall location, free breakfast - juices, tea, cereal, jam. Awesome staff.

The only downsides, which did not bother me are these: it's a 5-8 minute walk to the train station and there's no elevator. That's it. Otherwise, can't recommend enough.

Good Hostel. Average cleanliness. The bunk beds are quiet but you can not sit without having to lean on the bottom bunk. The architecture of the room is cool as the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a door which helps to lessen the typical inopportune noises when dividing a room. It is on the side of hyde park, buses close but the subway is eh far. It has little night life in the surroundings. If it is your first time in London better stay closer to Soho then for various attractions you will not need public transportation and if you need metro access at much better.

Great location! A 10 minute walk by foot to the nearest metro station. Also the neighborhood was beautiful, clean and quiet. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was also great! The room was quite big and clean.
There was no elevator and we had to go up and down the narrow stairs caring our luggage.

Very welcoming and fairly clean hostel. Friendly and helpful staff.
I was in the mixed 12 room, which has obvious drawbacks, but all in all I found myself well.
The total absence of shelves / shelves in the bathroom or bedroom is a bit uncomfortable.

Decent place to stay with an OK location for tourist sites. The people wern't the best, the bathrooms we're kinda gross, it had a bad smell on the third and fourth floor, and there are no oulets by the beds.

Great looking place. 6 person to os roomy. There is a nice lungue to chill in downstairs. Kitchen is nice. Convenient located. Great place to meet people and its a good balance of party and explorerees

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and sociable, and the location is perfect (if not a little far from a tube stop). I would definitely recommend this place if you're after a cheap bed for a night or two down in Central London.

The rooms are normal but very little clean, especially the bathrooms.
It is not so central, it would be better to be east of Hyde Park, not south for sightseeing. At least it is near the museum of natural cs.

I only spent time in the common room, but it was lovely - wood-paneled, leather sofas and armchairs, tasteful decoration, a bookshelf, plus a protector and screen for movie nights. Hopefully the rest of the facility is similarly nice!

Could have been cleaner, there was mold in the bathrooms. Did have a nice breakfast though.

Located near imperial University this hostel, was located conveniently for going to and from Victoria station. The overall look and feel was very comfortable and the hostel had good quality wifi.

its good. old historical building, so it is of course not super modern. if u want super modern, u must go to the generator. the location is great, but its very exclusive district with many many diplomats. this means prices are high. but from here it is very easy to travel around. many spots by walking and of course tube.
rooms are ok, beds are ok, shower is well, half ok. but its cool. the staff is great. everything is clean.

Can I only recommend .... we were there for three days ... SUPER ... in the middle of the city of London .... behind the Royal Albert Hall ... cheaper you can not stay overnight .... really great love People

Good hostel for price quality, convenient to the means

Quite, clean, good location, good stuff, room and bathroom not bad but too small, good kitchen, bad laundry.

This is what I would call your standard great hostel. It has many good large common area like the kitchen, dining room, and main room. The rooms are a good size and the beds are well constructed so they don't creak or more any unnecessary noises. The bathrooms are clean, numerous, and well stocked. The only downside is the very slow Wi-Fi. It's not unusable but don't expect anything picture heavy to work quickly. Happy enough that I would come back. I stayed in a 4 person room.
