Decent room. Great view from most rooms of the ocean. Parking is $20 which isn t mentioned until you get here. Convenient location on the water and next to the boardwalk. Would be amazing in the summer

Upon entering the room and turning on the lights only one lamp worked properly. The fridge was barely cold and the hair dryer in the bathroom didn t work. These were only minor things that could easily be looked past, and they were. Upon getting a horrific nights sleep on a rock hard bed made of stone and pillows that were purchased on the clearance rack at your local Walmart, we got up and started packing. I decided to pull back the curtains to let some light in. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. The first thing that caught my eye was a reddish orange blob of what looked like dried food crusted to the bedsheets. Curiosity suddenly filled me and I hesitantly peeled back the comforter to reveal a disgusting collage of human DNA covering the blanket. Not only was their human blood dried into the sheet, but also yellow stains COVERING the sheet that we had been sleeping on. I even found a black hair in the bed, and yes you guessed it, neither of us have black hair. I had to stop looking because I was feeling physically ill. I took photos and brought them to the manager where he apologized and offered to remove our parking charge and hotel fee s . Will never ever be going back. We had to shower multiple times to even feel remotely clean.

We had a nice time although we were a little disappointed that the room wasn't cleaned while we were out for the day. Maybe it's because we only stayed 2 nights, a little disappointing nonetheless.
Restaurants were both terrific with great food and friendly staff.

Twice I have been there and been disappointed. Seafood the first time was not well prepared. Prime rib I had most recently was the worst cut I have ever had - very chewy and flavorless. The roasted vegetables were very good. I guess due to their location on the beach they don't really need to provide quality meals.

It is an old hotel with lots of character.
The bed is my biggest complaint. I mentioned this at my checkout, also.

Room was good but they did very little to keep things quite after hours. If your looking for a relaxing place to stay thus isn't it..
Disappointing hotel and staff

The room was nice, great view and easy access to the beach.

Had breakfast there two mornings in a row. Not staying overnight there. Had Sailor's breakfast: eggs, bacon, homefries, toast and pancakes. Delish. Fast, courteous waitress and correct order...just a little expensive IMO. $30+ including tip.

Our room was ready early when we arrived. Valet, stacked our bellman cart and we pushed it to our room ourselves, one floor up. Our view was horrendous due to the construction of a new hotel/condo right next door. We found soda cans and candy wrappers under our bed. The sofa bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable, my two kids slept with me the 2nd night. The balcony was a joke and barely fit two adults comfortably. The indoor pool area was VERY hot and the outside patio was dirty. Front desk manager shaved $100 off my two night stay that equaled $750. The employees were friendly as well as the other guests. I will not stay here again.

We stayed overnight in adjoining rooms on Christmas Day. We were 4 adults and one toddler. We were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and there were even Christmas stockings left on our doors with goodies inside! Very quiet in the off season, but a beautiful view of the cold ocean and snowy landscape! Would stay here sgain.

Love the view, the food and how close to everything

Feel like it was a bit expensive for what it was; checkout was annoying as hell due to the valet process. Nothing the guys did. I think they did the best they could. Some guests were just obnoxious af and tried to cut the line

Drinks were good food was pretty decent as well. Place is a ghost town in the winter though and crazy in the summer

We we're just in the bar area for an event. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Nice property, older and dated rooms. The worst thing is they hide FNC from the channel selections. It is channel 33 but they don't list it. They list CNN and MSNBC but hide FNC.

Love this hotel!! Everyone that works there is very polite, clean beautiful rooms with an even more beautiful view!! I would 1000000% recommend this hotel to anyone ! It's the best one on the strip !

Room wasn t clean. Pillow cases smelled bad. I asked for fresh ones and they smelled as bad. Dusty lamps, dirty molding , rug was dirty. Ugh. I won t go back. For the price I paid per night I expected a clean fresh smelling room. They need to vacuum behind the tables and under the bed.

New ownership did away with the bands on the outside deck....not a good idea. It was fun going there last summer to listen to the music.

I stayed here for a little mini vacation. I had a great room with a side balcony with a beautiful view. The room was comfy and cozy. Both the restaurants were wonderful. Overall a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hardest most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep on. Nice staff, clean facility but this town is far too commercial for our taste. Though the beach is beautiful even in off season it is very crowded and has a carnival atmosphere. Definitely not your choice if you are looking for a quiet, romantic get away for two.

The morning after the first night I stayed there, I walked into the bathroom to take a shower and all of my towels and the toliet seat was soaked in yellowish water that was leaking from the ceiling above. Went down to the front desk and complained and they gave me an upgraded room that was supposedly fully cleaned and ready to go into right away. Went in and there was a pile of dirty, yellow and black stained, towels behind the bathroom door. One of the lamps didn't work and neither did the alarm clock. There were also eaten chicken bones on the side deck that was connected to our room. The new view was amazing though. Also no microwaves in the rooms and you had to walk down towards the front desk every time you wanted to heat up your food. The bed was stiff and the pillows were uncomfortable and very flat. Too many problems and issues for a $400 stay for 2 nights plus $66 for valet parking.

Very expensive. When we got home noticed there were charges from them that we did not authorize they charged us for parking that we did not use and a resort fee no one told us about. Room was clean and close to what we wanted. Hotel restaurant has poor selection and expensive pricing

The room was definitely not worth what we paid. The room was so dirty when we got into it. We had to call to request a new blanket because it was so stained, there was blood on the walls, and a huge nasty makeup stain all over the back of the door, the peep hole didn t work, the lights barely worked and was so dark, and it just felt so dirty. The sheets didn t fit the bed and Don t even get me started on the showers and the mold and dirt. We spent 420 a night for the oceanfront room with a balcony. Was not worth it. I had to call multiple times to request towels. I much rather would have paid 150 a night at a cheaper place. You think with Covid they would be extra clean with the rooms but it was the total opposite. Not happy with my stay. They also stuck us at the very end next to the elevator which is loud.

Our stay was just okay. The interior, pool area and rooms are dated. For the price they charged, I expected more. Cocktails on the upper deck were quite pricey and watered down. I must say breakfast was decent in the small cafe on ground level. There were signs around that stated Breakers serves breakfast, but that was not the case. Although the locations was great, I don't think you get your money's worth.

I would not recommend this hotel. Due to covid I understand the hotel needed to run different but I had trash on the balcony, water problems in the bathroom called no response .when we arrived the front desk staff seemed overwhelmed which made me feel uncertain. The rooms in the hotel are very old carpets were stained. Kids were running around the hotel slamming doors at 11 o'clock this went on for awhile. We stayed at this hotel because my mom loves the ocean and my dad's health is not great so this trip was very important to us. I'm not complaining but the pictures are deceiving so not worth the price its overpriced, I hope the south tower is a better part of this hotel. DISAPPOINTED

Very dissatisfied. Booked these few days in July..back in March..ended up with a view of the roof...moldy/broken window frame, no balcony ...on the old side..Bathroom door does not close without slamming it...I have been coming here 2x/yr for the past 20 years and have never had this type of accommodation. Would have requested a different room if we were here longer, but just not worth the trouble for 2 nights..no Bueno...and the wharf side cafe...waitresses VERY vocal about how they feel about the kitchen staff...I don't need to hear that....

My daughter and my self stayed two night July 21st to July 23rd cost $750 for two night.
The room was not ready at 3:15 pm, so we were asked to walk around and I would be called when room was ready. The room was super to be extremely cleaned because of the Pandemic. They had it all down on paper but there was cheese doodles under the bed and the second day found children finger prints and handprints on the glass door out to side balcony. They put my daughter 60 and me in harms way during our stay. I asked to speak to a Manager, I got a young kid ina mask with no I.D. He had No Name Plate on! This is not how managers appear. I waited till I got home to continue, stopped payment on Charge told them Why? I wrote to Hampton Chamber of Commerce And never heard from them or the Ashworth and I ended up paying the whole bill... Never was I treated so badly anywhere. They lied, God knows if the sheets were clean, I will never forget my stay. I still wonder if they have a Manager in charge? I will tell this trip to all who will listen, this World is truly changing where Bad LIARS GET AWAY FOR DOING WRONG. I would recommend another Hotel in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
I AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE IN CHARGE AT THE ASHWORTH??? At least a promise for inspections on rooms to make sure the room is CLEAN DURING A PANDEMIC

The room I stayed in (south tower) wasn't great. They said that both towers were renovated three years ago, but that was not a modern room. It didnt have a lot of outlets, they didnt provide blankets or a hair dryer and the towels were white with black marks on them. Not great.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Nice view of the beach. Only complaints were the stiff beds and thin walls.

The bed was HORRIBLY HARD and uncomfortable. Hot as hell in the hallways.

I was there for a conference. I didn't stay, however the staff was very helpful. The food we were served was very good. My compliments to the chef fire his homemade minestrone.

We stayed here for two nights and we hope to come back soon. Rooms were clean, we had an awesome view of the beach from the balcony. Staff at the hotel are very accomadating to guests needs. Valet service was quick and efficent. It's a great hotel we can't wait to come back.

The clerk was very friendly, the room and bathroom were clean. The view was great. The pool was clean and warm. The sheets didn't fit the bed and there were tears in the carpet. No bedbugs, we checked thoroughly.

We got a view of the pool roof and not the ocean, also the heated pool was not working I called before booking to make sure that they had a heated pool they said yes but they lied because the pool doesn t work, they don t have a microwave in the room and the lady at the front desk had an attitude like we was asking for charity we drove 5 hours to have a nice vacation at this hotels that looks great in pictures but when you get there is a totally different story, our vacation was ruined because what we expected was not delivered, will never go back to that place

Excellent hotel ...maybe some up to date improvements would be great but if you frequent Hampton beach you know the Ashworth and it really is best hotel in area

If your trying to find a restaraunt... please find somewhere else they take over an hour for a meal for 6 people. Super slow. Put us back a whole 2 hours.

My wife and I booked their best room - an Oceanfront King - and didn't regret it. The room was on the corner, looking down the beach and the boardwalk. We were there in October and had to pay a resort fee, even though the town was nearly empty. We were very pleased and plan on returning.

We paid for our room online. It asked our arrival time and we stated 11am to 12 pm. We arrived at 1:30 and our room wasn't ready yet. That was fine but the hosts response was "give me your cell number and I'll call you when it's ready." Not once offering us any where in the hotel to relax and wait. Upon returning I did let her know how I felt about this. Our room had a family with young children next door and I could hear them like they were in our room with us. One more thing it's $20 a day to park which no where was that stated on my confirmation.

Been coming here for my whole life. I like the the location at the beach. My one complaint I have is it always could/should be cleaner. Overall it's a great place to stay.

Hallway all redone nicely. Suite rooms are old and tons of bugs. Sheets dont fit bed. Dirty. Really need a makeover and price is still way high. Not worth it!!! We left early.

Food at Banquet Bad. McDonalds would have been better. SORRY The Soup Had No taste , had to load it with crackers. Meat was not Done. Didn't like the stuff they had on chicken strips. Everyone complained coffee was Hard to come by and and was Cold. Thats a Fact everyone complained about. NOT Enough food , Even though it was bad. Seems like it was Mostly veggies stuff. As was The Soup veggie soup. Thought on The OCEAN they would have Had At least fish chowder. I suppose clam would have been good. ... Travled quit a distance for The NH Fish and Game banquet. So Hungry When we left we had to Stop somewhere to eat. Stopped at Ceals Clam stand SEABROOK. $$$$$$$$. But it was Great..... Waiters and the help at Ashworth was Excellent.

It not that secure when you check in and 3 hrs latter someone goes in your room and steels

Last time we stayed, we found other people's clothes in the bureau - a full drawer. In the restaurant, I was served Squash soup with hazelnuts instead of the requested lobster bisque special. Hazelnuts and I DO NOT MIX! I was told they were out of bisque and the kitchen messed up. Ten minutes later, people at the other end of the bar were served bisque! People with us asked the bartender to get me some bisque, and her response was she had already taken it off the bill so no bisque for me - We were told we had cancelled our room when we arrived (it was ASHWORTH who cancelled it by mistake the day before!), and when a new reservation was added, the price was higher - instead of correcting it, we were told it was "still a great deal" - as well as an issue when we were told that there was no offer of a $10 voucher - to the point the next morning I brought the email offer to the front desk to PROVE it was offered - BTW, is was only $10. They then offered me the voucher and corrected the bill - after a much unneeded and unappreciated hassle. Beware --- FYI - I reached out to the general manager prior to posting this review and have not received any response. Update - Have still never received a response, even though I reached out a second time through email.

Nice hotel with indoor pool for the kids. Really close to boardwalk and Seashore. We were there offseason and had a wonderful time.

Nice hotel with excellent pub food and seafood on the first floor. Great location, not all rooms have an ocean view and rooms are a little smaller than I would have liked. But great employees and services

This hotel is 100% percent sanitary. It has great costmer service, and it is close to everything around like food, the ocean, and an awesome arcade. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that visits Hampton NH

The hotel is in complete disrepair. The pool was rusted and needs a complete update. The website menu is different. The actual menu only had haddock. It had very few items most over 20.00 each . They made me baked stuffed shrimp then charged me 28.00! More than the prime rib! The fingerling potatoes were RAW. Unedable. The bread was old and stale.
The room had thick dust/dirt on the lamp. Awful. 200.00 a night I expect much better.

We were there for a special birthday dinner for my significant other. As frequent patrons we were very disappointed in the menu. The menu choices are significantly limited. Not the Ashworths prior standards. Although, the dinner chosen was very good.

Phenomenal Hotel! Love the scenic views from the rooms. Right across from the ocean. Excellent prices! Friendly service and respectful. Bar and dining in the same building. Plan on visiting more times!

Great service. The one thing that bothered me was I was above the band... so I fell asleep to the T.V. on to muffle the band. I am an early riser. I will go gor a front rooom next time I go.

Standard queen room is VERY small. I don't recommend this room. Cost is expensive for what you get. Staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. The resteraunt is clean & again, staff is the redeeming quality of this hotel. Food was very good, large portions.
