we went to see about a smaller truck than what we had and to lower our payments. After 2 hours of waiting,we were told that they COULDN'T do anything and then on top of that , they ran our credit 7 TIMES... Total BS.

The shop, showroom and waiting area is always very neat and clean. The people are always friendly and very helpful. I recently went there to pick up a Motorcraft fuel filter for my diesel truck. I had just looked online and found the exact same thing for $42.50. I figured the dealership would be a little more expensive, but I wanted it that day. When I got there, they wanted $90 for it! Needless to say, I left and bought it online. It's worth the two-day wait to have it shipped to me to save nearly 50 bucks. I won't be looking to them for any of my parts needs in the future.

The comments below were written several years ago and I can't see changing one word except the year is now 11. One thing Dria taught us is where to locate where the gas tank is located. Which side shows up on the dashboard. Never forgot how helpful that is and have passed that little information on to others. Now the next time you are in your car ... go look for the gas tank symbol.
We have been purchasing our cars and servicing them with Asheboro Ford for about 11+ years now and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
Right from the top, Mike Sperber, owner is the best. Always helpful and never pushy. Very easy to deal with. Don't hesitate to give him a call with a question. He's never too busy to be there for you.
Financial Manager is Dria Johnson who has helped us over the years get the best deals. She is so pleasant to deal with, even drove a new car to our house for us to take a look at. Now that is service and with a smile.
We never felt taken or that we could have gotten a better deal somewhere else.
Take our word for it, You Won't find a better dealership in NC.

I recently went to Asheboro Ford in the hopes of purchasing something i had my heart set on a long time. Thanks to the fantastic staff, I am now the proud owner of my dream car! From the moment i walked into their showroom, to well beyond after I left, everyone at the business was dedicated to customer satisfaction. Everyone seemed like not only did they have passion for what they were doing, but they also were genuine about me enjoying my experience and driving away happy. I have had a bad experience at a different dealership years ago, and i swore I would never go back. Even though Asheboro is a little out of my way, I will be returning to these guys for anything i need in the future. Great experience, honest business, and fantastic people. thank you Asheboro Ford!

Mike Sperber really hooked me up and bailed me out of a situation at 4:45 on a Monday. My son goes to Gunsmithing School in the area and his tire on his F350 almost had a blowout. Mike and his team got him in immediately and had him back on the road in 45 minutes. I really appreciate the concern they had for my son and the expert service they provided.

I found my vehicle on Auto Trader. After sending a message to dealer, I was contacted the following morning with a bubbly voice!!
Rachel was an absolute joy to work with. She sent pics to me, after hours, way past her end time at work.
My experience with purchasing a car with Asheboro Ford was very stress free. Mark and Rachel took a road trip and picked me up from home which is an hour away from the dealership. Even the car ride was fun.
If I had to do it all over again, I would go the same route.
Very nice and genuine people here. Thank you for an amazing car buying experience.

Hands down the easiest vehicle purchase I've ever been a part of. Everybody was so laid back and genuinely no pressure. I know a lot of car dealers say "no pressure" but here it's actually true. Their finance manager, Dria, was awesome. She got me a rate just as good as anything I could've found on my own, and I didn't have to do any work myself. The loan was also very straightforward, no tricky interest rates or any of that kind of thing, no payoff penalty, etc.

Next time my family needs a Ford, Asheboro Ford will be our first and only stop. I only wish they were more local to us so we could use them for service too.

The customer service is great, they don't run out the door as soon as you pull in I had time to look at the trucks for a few minutes before a sales person came out. Worst service and customer service ever dealt with.

What can I say about my experience with Asheboro Ford except for that they consistently found a way to disappoint and drive all the zeal a first time car buyer could have from the brand he bought to support American manufacturing.

While driving across the state to move for a new job my 2013 Ford Escape started sputtering and not shifting. I was in Asheboro when this happened and I thought I was in luck when o glanced up on the horizon and saw what I thought was a beacon of good luck, Asheboro Ford, my saving grace on the horizon. In actuality my 'luck' has most certainly been exceptional misfortune.

My car sputtered to a stop at the service department where I was helped by a friendly young guy named Mike (by far the only helpful person I ever spoke to at Asheboro Ford). Mike took my car for a lap around the lot and informed me that I was extremely lucky to get my car in when I did and that I likely had an internal transmission problem. I was told the turn around on my car would be one week for my car to be torn down and diagnosed and that there were no loaners on the lot so I would have to get a rental.

I complied thinking that the quick turn around would make the cost minuscule. Man was I wrong.

11 days later, after many phone calls being told work had been started but then the service manager Shane had called the technicians to other jobs I was informed by Mike that nothing had been done to diagnose my car.

I reached out to fords regional customer service manager to explain the situation and I requested rental assistance since the car was so new and still under warranty. I was informed that because I had not bought my car from the ford dealership that nothing would be provided because that was only granted to loyal ford customers. I replied that this was the first vehicle I had ever bought on my own and that I was trying to build loyalty by doing so. No dice.

Following these discussions I returned the rental to asheboro ford on the twelfth day after it had broken down. I did not inform them I was coming and found my car parked on the lot where I had left it, not up on the block as I had been so constantly told.

Two days later (day 14) later my car was diagnosed, what I was told was an 8 hour job. I had an internal transmission error and the parts would have to be queried by Ford to determine the course of action. Great.

Another three days later, day 17 I am told that ford has decided to repair the transmission rather than replace it. I am told the turnaround will be just a few days. On day 20 I get a call from sandy, the regional service manager to tell me that she feels the case has been resolved, but that a part is on back order so it will be a while longer. What part you might ask? A bearing. Yes, a bearing. She claimed that her role was done and asked if there was anything else she could do to which I replied "can you help me a rental now that it's been twenty days?" The response? Where did you buy the car and after I told her it wasn't asheboro ford (for the second time) I had it reiterated to me that ford would not help me. Fantastic.

Day 22 I call Asheboro Ford and am informed the part is still on back order but I will be informed as soon as it will arrive. Day 24 I call the regional service manager again and again until she informs me that the part is on its way to Ford and that the car will most certainly be done by today (day 27).
After countless unreturned phone calls for check ups over the past three days, I was "guaranteed my car will be done tomorrow. I informed Shane I had the worst service experience of my life. He asked where I lived and then curtly responded I could take my car there from now on.

Key takeaways: never bring your car for service to Asheboro ford and in my opinion now, never buy a ford period. They won't stand by their poor craftsmanship and you will be treated to abysmal customer service.

Here's to hoping this review doesn't set me back another three weeks

I looked up my vehicle online before coming to test drive it. I was confident I wanted that particular vehicle so long as it felt good driving. Asheboro Ford got three starts because the buying process was very easy. It was straight forward, fast and to the point. I purchased a car previously that was an all day experience, so this was very nice. I subtracted two stars because after leaving the lot I noticed several of my lights were out ( I did not think to look when I was there), I was also told that all the oils were changed and the Honda was up to date maintenance wise. After leaving I noticed the car was taking awhile to start when I turned the key. Also the passenger mirror was loose and about to fly off when driving on the highway. Due to a mirror being a safety issue I would of expected that to be inspected well before the purchase.
To make a long story short they fixed the mirror and gave me a new battery to fix the car starting problem. I dropped the car off at 9am and it wasn't ready until 5:30pm. The guy at the service desk was not very friendly and I felt as though I should of received better customer service for something like that. Either way, I am content with my purchase and no other major issues have been noted.

UPDATE: my starter ended up being bad and I had to use the insurance I purchased with the car to fix it. That required a $100 deposit. I asked them to check the starter when I brought it back and they said it was fine. I would not recommend purchasing a car from here.

I have a 2014 Ford Fusion and bring it to Asheboro to be serviced for convenience. I'll tell you it's been nothing but an inconvenience. The service department is little to no help and mostly rude. A couple days ago my wife brought our car in for an oil change appointment we made almost a week in advance. After showing up 4 hours after she dropped the car off to ask for an update she was told by whom ever was at the desk he couldn't help her because she didnt drop the car off with him. Do you guys not utilize any sort of computer system to track the cars that are being serviced? Finally after waiting around for 30 minutes they pulled the car in and changed the oil. The car was there for close to 5 1/2 hours for a scheduled oil change. Not impressed at all!

Well herevis my experience at Asheboro Ford. I went to look at trucks. Used trucks. I was met by Mike M. He showed me some trucks but a F350 cought my eye so I traded my truck in on the king Ranch. Loved the truck but three months later I was rethinking my choice.

I went back to talk with them about getting something more affordable. They were very understanding and listened to what I had to say. Instead of trying to screw me they worked with me and was more than fair. Asheboro Ford has great people and a awesome finance department. I will never go to any other dealer than Asheboro Ford.

Went to go buy a v8 they could not put me in a truck that had a engine of that size. I toke my family home, the sells man called me back and told me they had a truck they could put me in today, told me it was a v8 and had all the things I was asking for. I trained my old truck in for the new used one witch I was told it was what I wanted and it could do all I need. Well come to fined out it s a v6 and that they lied about everything they told me about the truck. I m putting this feed back up for everyone to know that they will lie to you just to sell something and line there pockets with a little bit of cash so do not take there word for nothing. Thank you

Service department is a joke. Called with a problem that had no service code and was told doubt we can fix it without a code. If you are responsible for repairing a Ford vehicle let them know you are a professional and are there to solve the problem. Give them faith that you know what you re doing even thought you may not. Bottom line I will not use or recommend to anyone.

By far the best buying experience we have ever had! My wife and I drove almost two hours to this dealership as they were willing to work with us for a great deal. Signing the paper work went by quickly as the staff was fun and made sure we were taken care of. Even though the distance is there, I will look at this location again when it is time to buy another car. Thank you for a great experience, this is the way car buying should be.

The only reason I gave a two star review is because of the very pleasant experience we had with Katelynn G. She was exceptionally helpful.
However, I would give negative stars to the absolutely dismissive and unprofessional behavior of the Sales Manager , CHRIS PRITCHETT! We sat at the sales desk , prepared to buy the truck in full . CHRIS PRITCHETT didn t give us more than 30 seconds. He didn t negotiate, he just said have a nice day and walked away. We were appalled at his disrespectful actions. Katelynn kept apologizing even though it wasn t her fault . We left, and within 5 minutes of us gone, she called back with a lower offer from Chris. Should have offered that in the store. We bought our truck from a different dealer who actually valued us as a customer.

You can see previous review. We were told to come back 2 weeks later (we live in Winston and work full time) by Monty and he said he would take a look at the truck and make sure everything was taken care of (he actually seemed nice to bad we didn't get to speak with him).

Interesting how a place can treat its customers so poorly with a ford guarantee sticker. We came back to Winston Salem and went to the parkway ford. Everyone was wearing masks and treated us with such kindness. They took the door panel off for free to find out what the problem was. Unlike the Asheboro ford who just yelled at us telling us we knew this was a problem when we bought it (which is calling us liars). In less than an hour they found the problem and guess what it was covered under the warranty we bought at the asheboro ford.... we only had to pay the $100 deductible. Literally this was all we were asking for.... to know what was wrong and how it could be fixed. Asheboro ford just told us it would cost way to much money and that since we knew about it (which we didnt) it wasn't there problem. The parkway ford even told us they would have never put a ford on the lot with that problem they would have fixed it first an older 2012 model. They are happy to have a life long customer.

You should pride your self on treating people with respect instead of restoring to name calling and defensiveness. Also as a company you should maybe ask your employees to wear masks. My husband at the time had his in hand which he did tell me since we do talk. The issue is that both times we have come in no one is wearing one and you make people feel bad for wearing them ("the government is overstepping").

Just another money hungry car dealership. they sold us a 2013 chevrolet equinox with a bad battery, and did nothing to help us. within 3 days the car wouldnt start, I looked at the battery and the negative termianal was very corroded, cleaned everything up, and charged the battery, the car would start but it sounded weak and slow to start, took the car to advance auto parts the battery had 10.1 volts he told me one of the cells went bad. we called the dealership multiple times within a week after we bought the car, and they tell usmultiple times they will call us back with an awnser and never did! Very unhappy with this dealership, to sell a vehicle that was not properly checked, they didnt help us, Dont waste your time with this dealership...

Regarding the service department: Expensive and added costs coming after drop-off. It did work (there is your one star) but at about an extra 40% of what I could have paid elsewhere. Unless you just hate money shop around, ask a friend... you can do better. On the plus side, the lady that takes your money is actually a super-sweet-heart which softens the robbery a bit.

F - service department I asked how busy they were the day before to bring my truck in, Joe said no problem We can look at it right away,so the next day I dropped it off at 8 am,called at 11 and got a rude loud not yet,stopped in at 2pm and was told HE said HE needed the whole day which was a lie,so at 4pm Joe calls to tell me it is ready and it will be $85.00,so when I looked at the bill it was $115.00,and Joe explained that every service dept. in the U.S. charges for rags,tools,and waste,maybe He thought I was I fool,I was looking to trade in that truck so the G.M. Mike was going to send me pictures of a truck that they located.That was a week ago,I still do not have any pictures even though He was going back and forth to His office making it seem like He was talking to another dealing.Stay away from this place !!! It looks like a got a robo reply the same hour as my post with no name to reference just a comment about the one star rating,they should not get any stars
