Worst courier services ever!!!!! Not sure why they...

Worst courier services ever!!!!! Not sure why they are still in operation. Been waiting for an invoice for 3 weeks now. They simply don't care. You phone them you hold on forever and when your call finally gets answered they transfer you to another line without telling you in the end they just cut the call. Very frustrating doing business with them. I would not even have selected a star if I had a choice!!!!

That's it, forget our business guys. My package has been in Cape Town since last week Friday. I've been calling every day since then and been given the customs runaround. The package is a cinema screen for an event tomorrow. You guys still haven't delivered. That after I paid "incorrect" duty amounts and an exhorbitant "admin" fee for customs clearance against a "pro-forma" invoice with no supporting documents just to get it delivered before tomorrow. And, it's not the first time...

I do understand that sometimes there are issues with deliveries, what I do not understand is that management really do not care and are not willing to get involved in making improvements .. poor leadership! probably starts outside SA.. sorry

Definitely one of the worst companies I've dealt with - could not even get a quote for a straightforward document delivery. Got sent around in a loop between different numbers each telling me to phone the other one. Then they took it to the next level by hanging up on me. I was never rude to them. What a joke.

They simply do not answer their phone and lie to TNT international who send from other countries, saying the business they must deliver to was closed or the area is inaccessible. So Maitland, Cape Town Branch management must simply be replaced if TNT/FedEx wants to maintain their reputation.

After several email communications where I was repeated asked for the same information and was not given basic information like banking details, I gave up. DHL, at the same shipping cost for documents (if you deliver the documents to a PostNet) is a must better option.

don't even bother trying to call this company, you will not be succesful.... I only need a bit more evidence and I would be reporting them for fraud... unfortunately it's impossible to get anything from them... you will also notice staff turnaround so fast it's doomed...

We have a box that needed to be collected teo days...

We have a box that needed to be collected teo days ago and shipped to germany, they came a day later to the wrong adress and so I redirected them. When going to the warehouse where they where supposted to pick up the package we found it was still there and no one came even after talking directly face to face with the delivery guy, the location I sent him to is 6min drive from where we where. When calling no one wanted to help, they just kept on switching me to different people to speak to and or just hanging up and or the phone is just ringing... rite now i am waiting on the phone trying to get through to the operations manager... for more than 5 mins has the phone been ringing. NO ONE wants to help or do their job when calling the help center it sounded like they where having a party with noise in the background and the operator would just laugh or talk to some one when speaking to them. I had a quote number then they sent me to the quoting department then I told them the issue then they sent me to the operators then when speaking to them they sent me to another department, all while I had to wait 7 min for them to answer. This is a joke!!!! The packaged need to be off two days ago and its sitting here. I think they are operating a scam service by the way they are intentionally trying not to work or help or anything. And we are sitting on a huge crisses as a result.

.I am still waiting on the phone.

Must be the worst company I have ever dealt with... they lie, cheat and steal... and there is no way to speak to a manager, they are all in it.. do not waste your time or money with these guys

Unbelievable lack of service. I've waited TWO MONTHS for my package from the UK. I paid the duties and got no response nor my package, simply a request to send a further POP. NEVER AGAIN. How do they stay in business?

Doesn't seem like TNT has anyone working at their quotes desk. I've tried multiple times since Friday morning to get hold of someone and I'm put on hold for 10 minutes until the call just cuts off on its own.

I have also emailed them to no avail. Not sure if they actually want customers or not.

Don't worry. I managed to get through to DHL now with zero waiting time on the phone and got a quote nice and quick. Thinking of using TNT? Phone DHL instead.

I would NEVER recommend TNT to anyone... The service is absolutely non existing. I tried for about half an hour to speak to someone to find a package. Eventually ended up driving to the depo in Cape Town and the woman I spoke to ended up complaining about how bad it is since they paired with FEDEX....

Now after 6 days still no delivery from PE to Cape Town!!!

GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER TNT, there are plenty others that knows how to do the job so I suggest you up your game.

If you are unable to deliver on time, at least answer your phones..

Absolutely appalling service. They threatened my supplier they would return the goods if payment is not made. I made 23 calls (I counted on my cellphone) and hung on for an hour and a half taking all calls into account just for them to email my invoice! Just so I could pay them! Upon receiving my belated invoice I paid an additional cost of R50 to my bank for immediate payment. I await for my delivery from their Maitland depo with much trepidation...it has taken longer in SouthAfrica than transport of goods from China. On top of that TNT delayed collection from my supplier in China for 7 days. I have no idea why they are still in business!

I have NEVER been treated more disrespectful in my entire life. And I have been in business for more than 20 years. All I wanted was a quote. I will NEVER do business with TNT again. For an international company you would assume that they would train their people on how to handle customers with kindness and respect.

Seems like all employees are inept. Customer service is nonexistent and you have to constantly check up on progress with your shipment. The service is pathetic to say the least. They don t even deserve a one star.

I truly wish there was a minus star... please whomever you are do not use this company, tracking was not identified, their internal issues become customer issues. I paid all that was required, custom clearance fees TNT extra charges?? Express door to door service, only to realize that they will not deliver , I must come collect, when I could not collect my delivery date was extended by an extra 7 days, this after confirmation that the parcel is in their depot, wait for this... they are busy moving. How is that my problem? . DO NOT USE this company. The nice words on their website does not describe how foul they are.

Cannot believe such a large company is run worse than a corner shop... Seriously from rate cars showing under R100 per KG to now almost R1200per kg, and quotes after days -weeks to attain... Do they not want business...? Shocking all round.... if there was a negative star review i would click that one as TNT actually cost you more than money, but excessive time too...

My vok Marelize! After more than a week my parcel has managed to get from Shenzhen to Gangzhou but their tracking still says "There's been a delay but we're working hard to deliver on time".
And their phone system doesn't work.
Some business advice for you lot: Get the basics like phones working and people to answer them.

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced from a so-called "express" courier service. Phone unanswered for DAYS... really shocking. IF you receive a return e-mail, expect a one sentence reply with minimum information you can get off their website yourself. I don't know how FedEx finds this acceptable... wake up! TNT is ruining your reputation in SA. I will actively discourage suppliers to use TNT in the future. If I had the option of zero stars, the box would have been ticked...

Has anyone else had difficulty trying to get hold of anyone working at tnt. I have tried Jhb and Cpt branch, how is this company still running. All I need to an update on my parcel which has been sitting at their depot for more than 2 weeks. This is absolutely ridiculous....

If you're considering using TNT just be aware that...

If you're considering using TNT just be aware that if you don't call or check on your parcel it will sit with customs indefinitely. TNT will not notify you. So you will have to track your parcel daily and then make a few phone calls, then reply to some emails and eventually you may get your parcel.
