Very accomodating experience. Nice cozy room complete w/ sala, dining room, kitchen, with washer and dryer and 3 TVs. Has 3 bedrooms w/ unique shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

Clean condotel units. Staff friendly and good ammenities. Though limited food variety yet tastes superb.

I love the room i feel comfortable and the staffs are so kind, love it.

When you book a suite expect a room equipped with kitchen utilities, like knives, spoon and forks, micowave, electric oven, blender, coffee maker, basic pans and fridge. It was great to have those specially when you're staying for a longer time. The service is good, when you need something they will coordinate with you immidiatley. other facilities excellent, they gym, tennis and basketball court, even barber when you need a quick haircut. It's just a little hassle of going to 6th floor lobby then another ride to elevator to get to your room but nevertheless it was excellent place to stay. I highly recommend!

Of the luxury hotels in Manila, the Makati area, there are rooms, studios, apartments, rooms, two, and three. The staff are friendly, services are great, and breakfast fits Arabs. There is a health club and spa, and a swimming pool is currently closed for maintenance.
The location is very wonderful despite the high room rates and close to the green belt. You can go walking. The hotel is surrounded by a large number of restaurants, bars, cafes and the Gloria complex

Stayed here for three nights and the place is in a perfect location - above the mall (Glorietta). Plenty of space in both bedrooms and nice kitchen area for families to eat. Great service from the front of house all hours in the day. Special mention to MJ (night shift) and Sheena (morning shift) as they helped us with our booking and made it a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was a bit hectic and difficult get some service as it was so busy. The pool and the jacuzzi (very nice and warm) was very good and kept clean. Nice little play area for kids outside and indoors. We had no issues with our trip and would love to stay again.

Parking space are adequate and free if you are a guest or if you have a function. Meeting venue is a bit too cramped due to the pillars but this can be resolved by experimenting on the stage layouts. Food was good in taste and variety. The staff were helpful and attentive. I do recommend this for small to medium sized meetings.

Ascott Makati Location, location, location

Ascott Makati serviced apartments has so many things going for it. Great service, large and clean apartments, superb breakfast with a staff that will make you feel you are among family, tennis and basketball courts; but what makes it stand out and be considered the best serviced apartments in Manila is the location. You might, and you will, find better apartments, but you will never find a better location!



Now we come to the cons. I stayed in the three-bedroom penthouse and I had two major issues:

- The master bedroom seems to have been designed by a vampire !! there are no mirrors in the room !! really, not even one mirror! if you want to use a mirror you have to go to the bathroom or to the hallway! also, there is a walking closet but there are no drawers in the room!!! but the good thing is, that I contacted housekeeping and they provided us with a standing mirror and two chest of drawers.

- The free in-room Wi-Fi will drain the battery of your mobile !!??!! why? it s a mystery to me !! if you sleep and your mobile Wi-Fi is enabled you will wakeup to a dead, power drained, mobile !!??!! I seem to face this problem only at The Ascott, even when I change countries !

In spite of a few hiccups, The Ascott Makati is one of the best places I stayed in in all my travels, and that is the opinion of may family too.

A hotel close to every place in the middle of the city ...

Place is great! Have friendly and courteous people!

Good rates, hotel is accessible, rooms are quiet, shopping place right where the hotel sits, wide choices for breakfast buffet, coffee is good, function room is a little narrow than wide and acoustics need improvement.

The rooms are big with complete amenities, you would not want to leave the place. The place feels luxurious. I would have given it a 5 star but there is no valet parking.

Nice rooms. Friendly people. But food is just ok. (Sample: all meat pizza is just ham and tomato sauce and cheese.)

I'm a local and currently checked-in with my foreign friend. We are currently enjoying a room upgrade. The room is very nice, however, it is noticeable that the bathroom is not well kept because the shower room door does not close properly, thus, flooding may occur. What is alarming though is how majority of the staff only greet guests who are foreigners. At least in our experience. We did a little experiment where I walked ahead for about three meters, meaning my white friend was behind me. Surprisingly, when I walked past hotel staff, I never got a greeting and my friend who's three meters behind got flooded with warm greetings and smiles. Another experiment was I had to enter the hotel by myself, and not surprising anymore, I never got a single greeting at all! Sadly that a local who tends not to be flashy with jewelries and signature apparels will never get equal treatment with foreigners or with "flashy" locals. I've never experienced this kind of discrimination in any of my world travels, especially in Europe and the Americas. Sad to say, it is difficult to enjoy my stay here because I do not feel welcome at all in my own country! I think the management care less about "equal treatment" at all. Perhaps, they're trained that way. This is a head's-up to locals who might consider checking-in at this hotel. Make sure you flash your riches to be treated a guest. Sad, sad, sad...

Revisiting this review: I wonder if the management of Ascott Makati took this comment seriously?? Maybe not.

Had an awesome stay here. Front Desk Marco Aboboto was such a delight. He's made our stay easy and relaxing. Great asset to the staff. Rooms were clean and view was spectacular. Room Attendant Carl was also awesome. The breakfast was very limited but good quality. I highly recommend for the value.

Business hotel with good breakfast and great service.

I stayed here for business. I look Filipino but am aussie. The staff won't pay attention unless you're caucasian. Terrible customer service especially bell staff and front desk staff. Priority was given to foreign looking guests. House keeping were very nice. Location is great but new world is round the corner so why not try that.

The location is good rather nice hotel! It has lobby area ,gym,children play room ,executive lounge and swiming pool on the sixt floor.The have comfortable and large rooms,I could recommend to any traveller.

its my first time here..great location..wish the beds were bigger in the 1 br suite just like in shangrila..breakfast needs improvement

Our staycation was great! It was to celebrate a birthday and Ascott made it very special. We got a One-Bedroom Executive for a night. Our room was superb and the hotel amenities were great. They went an extra mile for the activity kits for the kids as well as some welcome treats we found in the room. Everyone was splendid and very warm. We REALLY did got carried away by Ascott!

Awesome place. I have no complaint about service, room design, breakfast or amendity. The swimming pool is clean and wide. Located in the centre of Manila's financial district. Easy to access to big shopping mall

One of the finest 5 star hotels in Makati. Rooms are big and complete with amenities for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Wi-Fi should be improved though.

First off, the location is excellent. I opted to stay at the Ascott to be close to shopping and a fairly quick ride away from NAIA. We stayed in a twin bed suite on an upper floor. The room was smaller than I expected, but spacious enough for two people. There are some design quirks with the room that could make things more functional: add towel racks in the bathroom, move guest phone closer to beds, updating some fixtures that may have fading or scratches. The room was clean and comfortable, and staff were happy to accommodate requests. The breakfast had a variety of items, though it had very few Filipino offerings.

Unfortunately, for two out of three nights I stayed here, my room smelled of cigarette smoke, which is disappointing given the non-smoking status. There were parties happening in the suite next door, which I did see staff try to quell after midnight. The smell was very heavy on the second night, and staff did compensate with a free airport transfer, which I appreciated. Of course the hotel couldn't have known the guests next door would be partying, but I will likely stay in another Ayala Triangle hotel the next time I'm in Makati. Overall, 3.5/5 stars, rounded up to 4.

My one bedroom suite is cozy and modern. The living/dining area is big enough to for my family of ten to have a dinner. Breakfast buffet is served at Myrons resto which is too small for a dec 26 crowd. I had to wait 30 minutes in line and people are entering on their own looking for empty seats. Overall, I think ill be back still because of the very nice suites especially when i plan to get a dose of Makati again because its location is superb.

Upscale hotel and under the market and restaurants location in Makati and go to Green Belt closer to the car

I stayed in this hotel multiple times and everytime I had a pleasant stay. The service apartments are very spacious and we spent a quality time here. Breakfast is good and had a wide spread. All the staff are friendly and well mannered. Thanks Ascot for all the sweet memories.

Good place to stay in Manila, very clean and great services, shops and restaurants close by as well. Didn t get a chance to try the gym or pool, too busy on a work trip, however an amazing selection for breakfast just be careful when stepping out of the bathtub shower.

Suites are excellent! Rooms are clean, roomy, and more than you really need. Staff are friendly, helpful, accommodating, and not hesitant to help with luggage to questions. Would stay here again. The location is in the heart of Makati so everything is walking distance.

This is 5 stars hotel and we expected a lot. Yes, room is very nice and clean, location is awesome. Kind hotel staff prepared room with bath tab upon our request.
However, unfortunately swimming pool was not available during our stay. So I can only give 4 stars...
