Ascott the Residence Makati Review

Nice hotel where it located by shopping mall area. Good security, lobby is on 6th floor.

I can't say anything bad about this property. You definitely get the value for your money!

Good value, well located hotel. Breakfast is average but hotel is well decorated with great amenities.

Acceptable service but price

Room is a bit bigger than delux room in the near hotel Holiday Inn, service is acceptable but breakfast is bad ... Food is not well cooked.

Compared to Holiday Inn, the price is too high.

Had lunch and it was so good!!!!!. Food tastes is superb!

Fantastic apartment. Very clean staff are friendly and helpfull very profationals good shop and restaurants sorounding my husband and I can definitely recommend .We had a happy stay.

Perfect Staycation for the Family...with complete kitchen equipt, washing machine, very spacious for an executive room. We just kept coming back here..

The staff, service, location and amenities were excellent.
It's important to add that they run a great honest team as I left my passport with a large amount of cash in the suite on check out and they found it and ensured it was all there on retrieval.
Would definitely return and recommend.

I love the jacuzzi beside the pool.. and everyone can use this amenity unlike with other hotels. This hotel is apartment style hotel, they have complete amenities like washing machine, microwave, kitchen utensils etc.. we were even upgraded to higher rooms for the same rate. That's why we keep coming back here.. Im hoping to check in soon again for a staycation. And their rates are so ok!

We booked a 1-bedroom suite for New Year's Eve and all expectations were met. The room was clean and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was available. The only inconvenience we encountered was the long line during breakfast the following day, but the hotel was fully booked so it was understandable.

Right in the center of 2 big malls. Easy access to food, clothing, appliances and other major needs and wants. Ameneties are top notch. The crew and the vibe is just lively. A great place to relax. Spacious rooms, a great breakfast buffet and customer service that really is world class.

I was there several time with my family where on apartment style room with 2bedroom. kitchen was very good all in condition.buffet was good people are friendly.i like the gym area manager zillah shes very nice and ara they are amazing very helpful.see you soon girls

I was here almost 5 years ago. This place is newly renovated. Two bedroom suites are fantastic with kitchen and livingroom. We checked-in at 5 a.m., exhausted from late night departure and early arrival into Manila. Sasha Doctora assisted us at the front desk. She was professional and efficient. She took care of our every need. Thank you Sasha!

Overall great place to stay for the money. You'll will. Never run out of things to do from the easily accessible 700,000sqm shopping mall, to the extremely comprehensive gym, pool, spa, prdocue garden and etc. Although, the fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. Overall appreciated ascott and their amazing service and value for money.

The staff is friendly to everyone. It is a really good place to stay with your family in a clean Residence Hotel.

The design of the room that we stay-in was simple but great. It has 3 rooms each has bathroom, television, and spacious cabinets . Master bedroom bathroom has bathtub and one has 2 beds. For me it was package for laundry with iron & cooking. Oh and I forgot it has a small room and we called it Yaya's room (maid's room).

The staff have a best hospitality,, good service,, and beautiful buffet breakfast,, good spot! Good gym as well

Apartment hotel catering for long term expat families. Spare rooms are rented out as hotel accommodation.

The hotel is very well located in makati city close to all the key malls and restaurants.

As mentioned by other the hotel is approaching maintenance time. The rooms are looking somewhat dated; too gray to my taste. The bathroom needs to be renovated. Too small and also drainage of water from bathtub slow.

Still fine but compared to other apartment hotels not in the front league.

Ahhh easily one of the best hotels I ve stayed in! I and my sisters stayed in a 2BR unit and Ascott gave us a superb experience! We room was super huge and beautifully furnished; we could live there for years! The staff were very warm and friendly, too! Swift check-in and check-out Would stay here again if there is an opportunity in the future.

Very suitable for families because there are spacious apartments adjacent to a very large mall but high price

Old hotel, but well maintained, great rooms. Service is way too slow, if you're unlucky like I was you can wait 20m+ to check in, 20m again to check out, 30m+ to get served at breakfast. Its enough time that you should factor in the cost to your trip.

The only bad thing is that the dining are is too small and have to wait a lot to get in.

What a wonderful hotel! With apartment style rooms! The only complaint I have is that the showers need to be remodeled!

Modern, spacious apartments attached to a shopping mall. Staff are friendly. Firm beds. Middling breakfast buffet.
A key low point was the water pressure. Quite literally dripping. Maintenance changed the shower head but said it was a pressure issue. Colleague in another room reported the same.

I lived here for a full year in a 1br suite. The apartment is enormous! Very comfortable, great staff. Great gym, great pool. Excellent location above glorietta mall. Fully functioning kitchen complete with all the necessities needed to cook for yourself. Breakfast spread is incredible. What a great place to stay for any length of time.

Wonderful experience and truly home away from home. We all love it but it's administration can not stop hiking its room rate and over charging little kids for breakfast and extra bed

We stayed at the Ascott Makati 3 times in the past 2 weeks. We had only planned 1 stay but added 2 more during our trip.
The 3 bedroom suite is perfect for a travelling family: clean, luxurious, spacious, full kitchen and laundry!
The hotel has great amenities, breakfast, security and convenient location!
Will definitely stay here when we return!

Little bend on service is a must in service industry.

This place has so much potential! Every staff is very professional and friendly, hotel is centrally located, rooms are clean and comfortable. Here is the unpleasant story, we booked 34 days here and paid in full at arrival (I have attached our booking confirmation in this review).

One week in, manager told us, sorry we don t have enough people to use Executive Lounge, we temporarily shut it down. Other guests (we met in E Lounge) and I both suggested to the manager, nobody likes to waste food, what we suggested you is we could let E lounge stock some drinks, and give guest some coupons to use in the main restaurant( I told him and her, two staffs, you don t have to give me coupons to cover a full meal, it s happy hour anyways).

Two weeks in, today, when My husband and I walked to fitness center to ask to use the tennis court, oh so sorry, you have to pay 300peso light fee per hour. We are stunned. (The light is on right now, and nobody is even use the court!) I don t know what to react at this point.

There are places in the world, Ascott holds one the highest profession and standard among industry. In Chengdu, China every Consul General lives in Ascott for that reason, in some people s heart(like my husband and I), Ascot is a great place to live or stay. We will make sure to make the management aware of this, I will not suggest my friends or visitors to stay here.

You must be generous about old facilities. You must have tough stomach. If so, you will enjoy excellent location and tasty dish.

Amazing.. Im very late here in writing a review but this is my absolute fave hotel in Manila. The staff are wonderfully well trained ..hospitable..friendly.

The gym experience was great as well. Thanks to Joel for giving me an awesome PT experience there it was both business and fitness.

It s really not even worth 1 start but you need to click the star to be able to post a review. What a scam.Very poor costumer service. My family is been harassed. I did call them and wanting to talk to the manager oh well they said basically we already took care of it and so I told them I wanna talk to the manager. So this lady in the other line said the manager is in a meeting and so I ask her what time does she think she will get off her meeting, so she said, she s not sure. So I told her to please tell her manager to give me a call. And guess what? Until now I haven t got a call from her. I don t recommend this hotel. They are rasist and they just humiliate you. They are only nice with tourists.

Great place. Best customer service. Lot of options for breakfast. Easily accessible to malls and multiple locations in city.

We stayed at Ascott Makati for 3 days and 2 nights and he overall experience was excellent. Upon arriving, there were cookies in the kitchen table to welcome us in our room. The room was really huge and there was a separate area for the kitchen and laundry. During our stay we were also able to enjoy their swimming pool and breakfast buffet. Everything in the experience was just so fun and satisfying, I can't wait to go back. I will definitely suggest this place to my friends and family.

Ascott has always been a go to place for me whenever I feel like doing staycation in the city. Staff is friendly and welcoming, they also have the highest tolerance to rude guest as I have seen them handle one on the lobby.

I had an amazing time here- got upgraded to VIP room which made it more than awesome. Also with the package came with 15 minutes free massage, free breakfast and access to business lounge. Surely was a wonderful experience to remember Definitely will come back here in the future.

Was here more than a year ago and it was still under renovation. Now that I'm back and they've completed more than half the renovation, the place looks better than ever! Beautiful lobby on the 6th storey and nice cafe just beside it. Wonderful location where you're shielded from elements of weather and shop and dine just within a minute.

It is very clean,nice service,wide,bright lighting,and has good quality food.I would love to go back in ascott cause it made me seat back relax and look at the beautiful view.

Clean and neat staffs so kind ...I will recommend Ascot hotel to all my friends
