Everything from start to finish was absolutely stellar. The decor, the service, the atmosphere, everything was exactly as we had pictured it when we imagined a perfect romantic dinner for valentine's day. We started with the cocktail that was garnished with a grey goose infused strawberry dipped in chocolate, our potato based appetizer with the avocado puree and chicken was phenomenal as well. When our entrees came we were surprised at the amount of food they give you, the portions are large enough to take home for leftovers the next day. Everything we ordered tasted so wonderful and had such a beautiful balance. At one point the owner came to check on our table and he was so kind and personable. It is very clear he puts a lot of love into this restaurant, and we are ecstatic to return soon to try another delicious entree. Visiting Los Andes for dinner was the best decision we could have made for ourselves. If anyone is wondering if it's a good place to try and have never been, do it. You will not be disappointed.

What a double win- a great international meal in a close to home locale! The warmth shown to us by the staff (especially Kathy and co-owner Sisene) enhanced our experience- and it was an experience, not just a dinner out. SIsene shared personal insight into his great passion for food, and his unique learning opportunities along his way, which made for a truly diverse, interesting and well-rounded meal! This place is not to be overlooked or missed!

Saint was an AMAZING server!!! He made us feel like we were the only ones around even though his section was getting full. Our last server was great, but Saint is fantastic and a great asset to the industry. We will be back just for him!

This is my favorite place at PC. When I tell you the staff here is the friendliest I have ever met I am still underselling it to you. They are so happy to be there and it's not even the Venezuelan waiters who are like that! And the food...for the price too! And the whale size portions you get!!! You feel like you are at an uppercrust restaurant but without the crappy tiny portions. Please go here. You will not be dissapointed.

Amazing and creative appetizers, the ribeyes are among the juiciest and most flavorful I've ever had, plus the sauces accompaning them are so good. Great service and all for a resonable price. It was an excellent experience and we will certainly be going back. Take my word and try it, you will not regret it!

We have been going to Los Andes since it's early beginnings. The place has grown bigger and better, but the quality of service and food has remained exceptionally high. The owners, chef, and staff are among the best people in the business.

This place is great! The food was awesome and the service was uncanny. My meal was last out of the 4 of us, and I waited no longer than 30 seconds, yet the manager came over and apologized! For nothing, if you ask me. But that is EXTREMELY fine service. They truly know how to make the meal an experience. Our apps and entrees were excellent. Nobody had a single complaint or issue at our table. You know a place is good if you can't go in on a weekend with out a reservation. (don't try lol) Really, this was a great dining experience and I will definitely be returning.

When we got here when they opened at 12pm on sunday, we opened the door and there was already a line of people to be seated. That tells you something about this place.
Love the food and atmosphere. The sauces we had with our dishes were to die for. Their drink menu was pretty near where it lite up, very different.
I had the chefs special (at the time, as they change the menu weekly) duck breast, purple potatoes, white rice and vegetables. It was very good. Particulary cared for the sauce that came with the duck. The appetizer that I had was Anticuchos, potatoes, with beef heart. It was amazing.
Our server, Alexandra was extremely knowledgeable as she is Peruvian herself. Alexandra came over to our table every once in a while to check on us to see if we needed anything else. If there was something she did not know about she didn't just guess she actually went to the chef and asked him and came back with the answer. I don't know about you, but that is what I would like I'm a server.
I give Los Andres 5 stars. Absolutely amazing place!

I really love this place but honestly it's hard to grab a table here. If you're going on the weekend, you definitely need reservations. Pretty much everything on the menu is amazing, especially the seafood dishes. A real Rhode Island treasure! I highly recommended this restaurant.

My husband Jason and I chose Los Andes to celebrate my/our 5-Year Cancer Free milestone. We had heard raves reviews about the restaurant, food, and staff from friends and family, read all of the positive Yelp reviews and had to try it. We absolutely fell in love with the place. The atmosphere, the food, the owners and the entire team. We dine out regularly and are foodies. We use Yelp all the time but just opened an account this morning. Our experience at Los Andes was the one of the best overall dining experiences we have had in a LONG time, maybe ever, and we had to share it!

Our evening started with a cocktail at the bar. We then we were escorted to our table for our 7pm reservation. We were tucked away in the corner by the koi pond (yes...there is a koi pond out on the patio). My husband ordered a bottle of champagne for our celebration. The owner asked us if we were celebrating and we told him that we were. He was so warm and wonderful. We felt like we were with family. Throughout the course of the evening (we were there for 3+ hours!), we must have spent 30-45 minutes chatting with the owners. You can see how passionate they are about what they do.

Our waiter Tony was fantastic. He explained everything to us and made recommendations. For appetizers, Jason ordered the Ceviche and I ordered the Saltena (chicken pie). Jason also asked about the Anticuchos (beef heart), which there was no way that I was going to eat that. The owner heard through the grapevine that Jason asked about it and brought over a sample of the beef heart for us to try. I wasn't about to be rude and not taste something that was presented to me, I am so glad that I tried it. It was so delicious...I ate the whole piece.

For dinner, Jason had the Paco rib special, which he couldn't stop talking about. He asked about the fish and our waiter and the owner explained everything to us. It was like we were dining with friends. I don't eat fish, but tried it...it was unbelievably good. I ordered the ribeye. It was cooked to perfection and the glaze on top was so tasty.

We contemplated ordering dessert...we didn't have to. The owner brought over a piece of cake with "Congratulations" written in chocolate sauce. It brought tears to my eyes.

To say that the team at Los Andes went out of their way to make our celebration special is an understatement. We have been to a lot of restaurants and had amazing food and service, but this place tops them all.

If we could give it 10 stars we would! This is our new favorite place to eat!!! Now we see why everyone raves about Los Andes...add two more people to that list.
Los Andes exceeded our expectations! This place is a gem!

We came on a Sunday at 12 for lunch. Service was great and the waitress was helpful. We got the street food tasting and Bisteca Andina. The food tasting is a must if you want to try everything for $30. All the bushes were so flavorful and amazing. The Bisteca Andina with the ribeye was perfection. It was spicy, sweet and favlorful. The steak had a nice smokey taste and perfectly cook. It's pricy, but definitely worth every penny. Can't wait to come back

Very good restaurant. Although they should add chicha morada ( purple fermented corn) into their menu list. I studied abroad in Peru and remembered the drink. They do make it upon request but it wasn't there just like the choclo (toasted corn from Peru). They also should put actual Peruvian music, more Peruvian dishes like arroz a la chiclayana and make it feel more authentic. The waiter I had seemed to spit out the whole menu from memory which was cool at first, but not when he keeps talking and you are trying to decide on your own what you want to order. It was annoying and overwhelming. I didn't ask for the whole menu to be almost read out to me from the top of his head. They should also add more art from Peru. This will make the restaurant really a Los Andes place.

Be ready for a one of a kind experience. This restaurant makes for a quaint, busy, bustling evening. I thoroughly enjoyed the decor. Warm, inviting, and creative. And then the food! Delicious, we were a party of 4 and all ordered different dishes and I had to try everything. The waitstaff was accommodating and engaging. I will return soon.

A very modest exterior hides Bolivian and Peruvian culinary wonders. A glorious fishtank greets you as you enter! Excellent shellfish and well done decapod plates await those adventurous enough to try them. Feeling a little less so? Plenty of delicious salads, chicken based dishes, and heavenly drinks are also available, all accompanied by a friendly staff and an ambiance to die for.
