Tried the pork shoulder which was melt in your mouth amazing! It came with rice, potatoes, fried plantains, roasted carrots and was topped with scalions. Everything was delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The overall atmosphere was beautiful, hip and warming (and they have a beautiful fish tank filled with beautiful fish.) I really enjoyed my drink special "thank u next" ordered based on ingredients not because of the name (not a fan of the artist but they shouldn't lose points for that.) Free valet is available.

Much ado about nothing sadly. Unfortunately, all the hype about this restaurant did not match the experience.
Service was phenomenal and attentive - absolutely. However, the dishes were a huge letdown. The chicken dish we ordered was pitiful. It almost reminded me of a tv dinner meal. It was dry. Precooked and sat around maybe?
The steak dish was very chewy but flavor was ok. The seafood special appetizer was good though.
Overall, it was ok - just not up to the expectations I had going in. I would not come again though.
This place was awesome! Every single thing I had tried was delicious that staff was on point with special as well as clearing the dishes off the table as soon as it was finished, he even let us know that our main course was on its way out. I will definitely be going back. This is a must try!
This place is unbelievable! The food is the best Spanish food you will ever get and I'm a multi cultural mixed Hispanic so I know. The portions are unbelievably huge, everyone in my party of 7 left with take home containers. And the wait staff is fantastic. We was so impressed with our waitress that remembered the order of 7 people which including adult beverages, appetizers, main courses etc without writing a single thing down and got everything right. She also added a table to ours to give us more room even though our reservation required 2 tables and the place was packed with a line outside. Everything about this is an A+++ I highly recommend it.
Large portions of delicious foods await you at Los Andes restaurant. The waitstaff are efficient and accomodating and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting.
Fantastic food and service every time. Manager Ali welcomes every guest, and he even remembers details about us from past visits and shows that he is attentive and cares. The staff are always extremely professional and talented. The chefs deserve lots of credit for what they create. I have only had great experiences with Los Andes.
Great Andean and Peruvian food. Good size portions and friendly wait staff. Expect to wait for a table regardless of the night you go. Top notch steak, calamari, & ceviche.
The food was AMAZING and the service was exceptional. This was our first visit. I have been in the industry for 17 years and my wife has been in the industry for 30years. After visiting, we are recommending Los Andes to everyone!
I smelled like smoke when I left. Embarrassing. I mentioned it to the waiter during the dinner, who then went on to tell the manager. The manager came to the table condescendly asked if the food tasted good and walked away without acknowledging the fact that ash particles were floating in the air.
First time visiting and I can see why it can be tough to get a reservation. The food and service was incredible. Christian was amazing and so friendly. The igloos were cozy and relaxing. I definitely will be back soon!
This place is ALWAYS packed, and you'll see why when you eat here. Amazing food, reasonable prices, and big portions. Don't be fooled by the outside of the restaurant. Inside, it's fully renovated and very nice. If the weather is lovely, ask about sitting outside on the patio! There, they have live music, cute and cozy string lights, and a koi pond. Your date will be impressed.
Really spectacular. The smoky pear margarita is one of the best cocktails I've had all year. The portions are huge, the prices are reasonable, and the service is on point. Definitely make a reservation. Everything we had was amazing.
I was waiting so long to place a take out order. I was disappointed about the food, to much mustard for "pique a lo macho" and no enough fries, and over price, wow!!
Very friendly staff I really like the fact that we were in a heated bubble the set was very impressive civid 19 Restriction was followed, and the food excellent
I was in the RI yesterday and looking for a place for dinner with my wife. I found this restaurant on Google map as one of the best in the neighborhood. The place was packed on a Thursday evening, the food is really good. I have the chef's special Pulpo Anticuchero, it's amazing. Our waitress was very nice, knowing that this was our first time to the restaurant, she spend the time to go through the menu with us. Don't let the appearance of the front door and the streets fool you, it's huge inside with a large patio. We will definitely go back again.
I am not a local, and I am so glad that I was able to go here! The food is so incredibly flavorful. The portions are huge and the prices were great! The quality of food was more than I ever expected. The service was great and the servers were attentive and knew about the food. I will miss not being able to eat here all of the time, because it is now one of my favorite places to eat. Cannot miss this place, bucket list for sure!
You'll love Peruvian food, I promise. Los Andes entrees are more like 3 portions - so come hungry. You cannot duplicate these flavors! Spices not gravy or sauces - so nice. Get your reservations in days/weeks early. What are you waiting for?
I was there celebrating my sister's birthday. Surprising my husband did business with one of the owners at Volkswagen and he recognized him . He treated us very well the whole staff give us a great customer service. Delicious food and drinks. By the way try their Lola's blue cabana mix drink. We will definitely go back and I will recommend Los Andes to family and friends .... My favorite place to eat from now on :)
This is my family's go-to restaurant. We have never had a bad meal or service. Everything is fantastic, from the outdoor seating and decor to the interesting yet delicious drinks and dinners. And their desserts leave me speechless.
Love this place... outdoor dining on a rainy night was amazing.. They will bring over a heater if you're cold... The staff is A1+ Definitely the best restaurant that I have ever been too..
The best Peruvian and Bolivian food in the city of Providence. we had the classic ceviche, a vegetarian dish. And octopus appetizer. Are son had chicken fingers and fries. They're chicken fingers were the best chicken fingers I have ever had anywhere. The quality at the restaurant is exceptional and the service is unbelievable. I can see why this place is so popular with locals. We came on a Saturday afternoon so the place was busy but not too crazy. I've heard that it gets really busy Anand Friday and Saturday nights. it's not cheap but for the quality of food it is an incredible price for the menu.
10/10 restaurant! Came here for the first time and was a little skeptical by looking at the outside of the restaurant but once you get inside it is really nice. They have a beautiful patio in the back. It's really romantic at night with all the patio lights set up. We tried the red sangria which was really great. We tried all three kinds of empanadas, the cheese was our favorite. We got the paella, lomo Saltado and the pollo a los Andes. All of dishes were large portions and had incredible flavors. Our waiter was very friendly and very attentive. Would highly recommend for a date or getting dinner with friends!
Delicious Peruvian food! They have plenty of room for seating and we were seated immediately. The servings are huge and lasted us for 3 meals. Highly recommend their pisco sours and Bisteca a Lo Pobre.
I called to make a pickup order for tomorrow and the woman that took the call just vanished for over 10 minutes without explaining what she was talking to her manager about, came back and told me to call tomorrow or to drive there and pay first.
They refused to take the order tonight. Seems they don't want to forget the order or just make a note about it for tomorrow's staff. Pretty lame excuse was people in the past didn't come in to pickup their orders. Okay, so what if I call tomorrow and don't pick it up, what difference does it make?
My wife is graduating and her ceremony starts at 10 and goes until 12, and we have a 2 month old newborn. I have very limited time, and right now I am pissing it away to leave this review as he sleeps because this just really bummed me out and I feel the need for people to know they failed to do something that was a pretty simple and understandable request, and their excuse was devoid of logic.
I am not traveling over 30 minutes from my home at 9pm with a newborn to place an order, and I'm not going to call during my wife's ceremony. My family and I were looking forward to this and this is a huge disappointment, and we will no longer be giving Los Andes business, and will tell our friends about their lack of customer service and just taking a simple order because they feared we wouldn't pick it up...
Los Andes is a gem in Providence and I'd highly recommend this establishment. It's a Peruvian (seafood) and Bolivian (meats) restaurant. I ordered the oxtail and it was rich, flavorful, and hearty. The prices are very reasonable as well! I could not finish my meal so unfortunately I was not able to try any dessert.
The service is wonderful and extremely helpful with the menu. It is an unassuming place on the outside but do not let that deter you! Inside is clean and ginormous!
There's valet parking as well as plenty of street parking.
