I m Peruvian, and the ceviche is pretty close to the real thing. I had the chimpun Callao, great if you want a little bit of the jalea and mixed ceviche. I do miss the time when this restaurant was more on the Peruvian authentic side, it has grown and become more popular so a lot of the dishes are less authentic. Service was pretty good, had beers instead of cocktails but the list looked really good. For dessert, we had tres leches, very moist and delicious. Overall I hope they preserve some of the authentic flavors, pretty busy so we got lucky eating at the bar. They need more original Peruvian entrees like aji de gallina, papa a la huancaina, tallarines verdes, etc

We have gone to eat at Los Andes on many occasions however, today was by far the best experience because of our waitress Kamilla! She is super pleasant, down to earth, knowledgeable, and has a welcoming personality! Not to mention patient because we wanted her opinion on just about every dish! We all want to try other dishes instead of our usual so asked her to give us her opinion on everything. It became a Q&A session! Lol Tge poor girl.. but she smiled and made her suggestions which we took...and needless to say, her suggestions were exquisite! Next time we go, we will be asking for reservations in Kamilla's section.. And we recommend you do too!!!

We use to go to Los Andes very often. As of recently, they are now automatically adding the tip to the end of the bill for any size party. This normally would not be an issue. However, our waitress was horrible last time we went. It was my daughter's birthday and we mentioned this to the waitress. Later on when coffee was served we were never given cream, sugar or spoons and had to ask multiple times for these items. Also, the waitress never came out with the birthday dessert for my daughter. Upon getting the attention of another waitress we were told that our waitress was on break. No one else was assigned to our table. The owners are very nice but after this experience we will no longer be returning to Los Andes.

Delicious. We drove up here from Boston on the recommendation of friends (who brought us), and it was amazing. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks, the waiters are friendly, and the food is exquisite.

What a delicious and enjoyable experience. The setting is eye popping since the outside appearance looks nothing like what you find inside. The service is excellent as the hosts are on top of whos coming and going and are always making a maximum effort to accomodate everyone. The food is mouth watering delicious. The ceviche is fresh, the soup of the day (chicken with rice) tasted like my moms soup - major compliment - i had the chimpum callao, which if you cant decide between fried seafood and the ceviche is the way to go. My friend had the lechon, which he devoured and quite frankly it just looked and smelled amazing. If youre on a diet, do not let them show you the dessert options. No way you can say no! This is a true hidden gem. Whoever is running this establishment has got the right recipe #punintended

Very fine restaurant with educated, helpful wait staff. The food is very interesting and flavorful. Reservations are absolutely necessary, especially on weekends. Valet parking is a lifesaver in this somewhat crowded neighborhood venue.

Amazing food! Very authentic! I travel the world as a crew member for an airline and this is some of the best food you will find. I ate there recently and asked about a certain spicy chili sauce I liked from Lima, Peru and the Owner took me to the kitchen and showed me how to make the sauce. It just shows the passion for excellence and impeccable service they have. Casually classy and never pretentious. Do yourself a favor if you are ever in the Providence area, and try this place! You should make reservations as it is often very busy. Can t wait to return when I am next in town!

Excellent food, excellent service. Rarely have I had a meal there I didn't enjoy. One thing I have noticed however though is that the food/service quality dips slightly (but still very good) on busy days, so if you can try to eat there away from the peak hours.
