If my power didn't flicker on and off at least once a week, I'd give them 5 stars. My google home chimes are really getting annoying.
What makes it worse is right across the street is Stafford, they have power still when Pembroke goes in the dark.
Very very lucky to have something better then hydro one in the valley. Hydro one is good too but local power is cheaper and its not perfect but its ours and we should be trilled at the prices and service we get. Always had good power supply and service.
I would have gave you 3 stars but ya took the flag down off the pole and now i have nothing to tell me the wind direction! Boo hiss! It was my only entertainment for the last 17 days on quarantine! No what?
Sorry.. Hours of operation need to be extended to 5pm like most essential service providers. The power was out today in Pembroke. It is hours afterward and still no timeline reported on their website for power restoration?
I'm pretty happy with our power company, but I would like to see them put it at off peak hours until this virus is dealt with. I know it's not a huge difference in savings, but every penny counts to alot of families. I would like to know if Ottawa river power plans to do what hydro one has done and what Douge Ford implemented province wide.
Friendly service and when the power goes out they always work hard and fast to get things on again.
I am really happy with the service provided by ORPC. When moving you have to go in and sign a new contract with them, but they are always friendly and quick. When there is a power outage, you can always see updates on their Facebook page. A much better experience than dealing with other large corporations.
If the wind blows the wrong way the power goes out. But in all seriousness, I have never experienced so many power outages in my entire life. Also, as someone else stated.. the Google home chimes. Tired of hearing mine go off in the middle of the night when the power is restored
ORPC is the most unreliable power outfit I've ever experienced and I've lived all over Canada. It goes out for a few seconds pretty much daily not to mention the weekly or bi-weekly major outages. No idea how or why the banks and businesses put up with this and don't lobby to get rid of the local outfit. I am a webmaster who has IP security on my server and when the power goes out I need to provide my hosts with my new IP to get on my server... so besides the almost daily during the day outrages it happens almost every night too. Completely inept and unreliable power company. Too bad Hydro One couldn't take over and fix this lacking infrastructure - ORPC are clearly not up to the task... they can't even keep the lights on for a full day lol.
