Los Andes is the real deal! Huge portions of authentic, delicious Peruvian cuisine. The drinks are amazing! The service is top notch and extremely knowledgeable. Recently renovated and looks great inside with fantastic ambience. I'd rate it 6 stars if I could.

With all of the hype that this place gets, I have to say that I kind of felt a little let down. Don't get me wrong, everything was very good, but nothing was mind blowing. There are definitely better restaurants in Providence.

Los Andes was the perfect place for our semi-annual small college reunion. We were a group of four and ready to explore! Having recently tried a peruvian restaurant in Norwich, CT we were very pleased to see the outstanding reviews of a Peruvian restaurant that we had not yet tried. We definitely made reservations. We got there on a Sunday at noon and by 12:20 the place was full. Our waitress was an absolute delight and patient with our questions. Two of our party had the Ceviche in a martini glass. It was excellent and a generous portion. We tried different empanadas. Empanada De Arroz (which was wrapped in banana leaves was our absolute favorite and could be split between two people for a nice taste. Two of us opted for a daily special dish which was excellent. When I go back I will listen to the specials but it will be hard to convince me not to get the Pollo Napolitano. (I tasted it from one in our party) The flavors were absolutely spot on.

Can't wait to return. Outstanding meals and service.

By far one of the best, if not THE best restaurant in Providence. The service is always exceptional down to the last detail, we had the pleasure of having Gustavo as our server this evening and he was (as expected) incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and personable and made sure our every need was met. As someone who spent years in the service industry it still amazes me that EVERY time we come our table is visited by at least two of the three brothers to make sure everything is perfect. Cesine, Omar and Diego are completely amazing, always holding the highest standards seen in the industry. Amazingly delicious food, incredibly generous portions, meticulously curated atmosphere...a complete oasis in the heart of Providence. Do not miss the opportunity to experience the love that is Los Andes, you will not be disappointed.

This place is an experience unlike any other. First, it's super easy to make a reservation on their website. Great accomodations if you have to wait a few for your reservation. The service is incredible, they make you feel like royalty there. All staff members were very attentive and very helpful when needed. The food was unbelievably good. Consistently excellent experience every time I come here.

Los Andes is the best Peruvian restaurant in Rhode Island. We travel over 200 miles every year to eat here. The staff and management are very accommodating and go the extra mile. The food is fantastic and my pictures i included will show it. Stop here for an authentic meal with friendly service and a memorable experience.

The food was excellent and the service was second to none. One of our appetizers was late and the owner came and brought it out himself, apologized, and comped it. We honestly didn't even notice it was late.

They have a wide variety of things but you don't always know exactly what it is you're getting. I was hoping for something authentic and Peruvian and I ended up with a battered fish fry. Everybody else in my group got something much tastier. I wish things were labeled a little bit more clearly.

My boyfriend and I took my niece here for her birthday and we were pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came time to order. The place is a good size and fairly quiet. It's not fancy looking, but I would take a date here. And the food is something to rave about. Delicious! I had the Picante Mixto, which was full of flavor. I used the white rice to sop up all of the amazing sauce.

My boyfriend had the Pollo A Los Andes and my niece had Envuelto De Pollo. We were all pleased with our meals, which gave us a bit to talk about once they came out.

If you're in Providence and looking for a reasonably priced place to eat, this is it.

Cerviche was delicious and the bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Lastly, make sure you have a reservation...the place is packed daily. We sat at the bar with our 4 year old daughter. Their coral reef fish tank kept her occupied.

High quality place to eat excellently cooked food. Very busy and hard to get a seat. Large outdoor section when warm with a nice water fixture to sit near. Wish the portions were smaller, I can easily get 3 meals out of one dish.

It was pretty great. I had a tuna appetizer (Tuna 3 Ways) and a ribeye for my entree (Bisteca A La Pobre). My drink of choice was the Bolivian Mojito. The tuna was phenomenal, my personal favorite was the ceviche style. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was a little closer to medium, but it was still juicy, tender and tasty. The sweet plantains that came with it were cooked marvelously: crispy outside, soft and sweet inside. As good as the food was, a highlight of the night was the Bolivian Mojito. OH. MY. GOD. It was crisp, very, very citrus-y and had this spicy after note. I couldn't stop drinking them! The other highlight was the service. Our server, I believe her name was Kathy, provided impeccable service. She knew the menu back and forth, was very attentive to our questions and requests and was incredibly personable. Give that girl a raise!

As far as negatives, I really only have 2:

1. My steak being slightly overcooked. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but when it's a ribeye I need it to have a nice char and be that perfect pink inside.

2. The long wait between drinks. It's possible that I'm unfairly judging the situation considering it was a busy Friday night, but it was at least 10-15 minutes between drinks. This may not be representative of how quickly they get them out on a normal basis. I just thought it was a little excessive.

If not for those two snags, definitely would have been a 5 star rating. I highly recommend Los Andes, especially on date night. It was a little loud but the room definitely had a "mood" set.

The inside of the restaurant looks very nice, good food, professional workers, just be prepared to wait up to an hour. I went on a friday and it was packed to the brim. Extremely busy.

I ordered delivery from Los Andes via a recommendation from one of my Uber drivers that I needed to try their food and I m so happy I did! The flavors were amazing! The ingredients super fresh! Very large portions of food which I was really surprised about it. And it was a prompt delivery as well. Would for sure visit Los Andes again if I m in the Rhode Island area.

Some of the best Latin food in the Providence area. The mixture of Peruvian and Bolivian food is great. Portion sizes or very large and the prices are reasonable.
If you are planning to go on a Friday night or weekend, make sure you have a reservation. This place gets packed.

TBH, I rarely leave reviews. Only when something is so bad that I just can t control my inner Karen, or in this case something is so good I just wanna climb on to the roof and scream it to the world!! After years of hearing great things and wanting/trying to go here, we finally made it. The food was incredible, the drinks were one of a kind, music-perfect, ambiance-100%, and Janelle (sp?), our waitress, was awesome. Go here! You will like .

I had ordered the Pollo Napolitano to go and it accidentally came without chicken. I called the restaurant and the service was seriously top notch. Not only did they remake my food, they delivered it to my house all within less than 15 minutes of my call. Thank you, Lydia, for going above and beyond. Definitely still coming back to this awesome spot!

My husband loves this place and there are certainly some great menu items the empanadas and saltena are yummy, as is the envuelto de pollo. While the food is great, I don t love the atmosphere, and have never enjoyed consistent service here. If you don t eat meat, there aren t many options and if you don t want a heavy meal, there are even fewer.

The attention and the food is exquisite. They can arrive without reservation at the entrance, they ask for your cell phone number and let you know when you can continue, they also have a comfortable waiting room.

I made the reservation a week in advance for my girlfriend's birthday. We went last night and I was utterly disappointed. The server, Jarrat, did not seem to care about our dining experience at all and just wanted us in and out. I had specified when making the reservation that it was for a birthday and just to be polite enough to make it special, that did not happen. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS but the service was terrible and ruined the experience. Wouldn't have flown in the restaurants I have worked at... Very disappointed.

Unbelievable. Los Andres lives up to all the hype! We have been here a few times and it is ALWAYS busy! Everything is good here; food and drinks! The staff is also excellent! There is really nothing to complain about this place. I guess if I had to pick something it would be the parking being difficult but that is really a very small complaint. Los Andes is definitely the place to go!

Great tasting food, and really big portions. My reasoning for the three stars is the service was just ok, the food took way to long to come out, as they gave us the wrong food order the first time. Also, when ordering drinks, I wanted a non alcoholic beverage that they did not have it. They are one of the best in RI so I expected them to have options which they don't have many.

Went there with my beautiful girlfriend the other night. It was my first time and I loved it! We started off with the ceviche martini and it was delicious. The squid was not rubbery and over marinated at all. The leche de tigre was awesome. Once the ceviche was all good, our waitress suggested that we drink it and man, was it delicious. I had the chicarrons with arroz con queso. Very tasty. The chicarrons were perfectly cooked but just a touch under seasoned. The arroz con queso was awesome! So cheesy and delicious. They served a lemon wedge on the plate which was exactly it need, just a little squeeze of fresh citrus right over top. Then we finished off the night with a coconut cheese cake with a passionfruit cream topping. Again, delicious. The crust needed a little bit more butter but the cheesecake itself was cooked wonderfully. Not heavy but light and creamy. Delmy was our waitress and I don't think I've ever had better service. She was so nice and helpful and understood our terrible pronunciation of their menu items. This is a great little spot and would bring friends and family here! Also, highly recommend making reservations even if it's a Tuesday at 7PM. You'll need it.
