Good food, good portion sizes,good cocktails and live music!

Drove down from Maine specifically to come back to Los Andes and didn t disappoint. One of if not our favorite restaurant. Couldn t be happier.

Shoe this is authentic Peruvian food on the best service. Dont leave royal way for shortcut. Excellent

I took my girlfriend here for dinner last weekend. I made a reservation and I was able to get a seat right away when I arrived. The service here is outstanding and the food is amazing. They give you large portions so you should have leftovers. The only problem you ll have is figuring out what to order because everything is so good. I will be back soon.

Amazing Food!! We were a party of 4 and everyone was more than satisfied. The food is beautiful to look at and delicious. Prices are moderate for what you get. And the specialty items and seafood that no other restaurant has, are amazing! Book early because they fill up fast. Drinks are also great.

Great spot for dinner, definitely need reservations for a large group, crowded even on a Wednesday. A little pricey but the food was good

Sorry but Questionable service. Family of 3 visiting the area from out of state as guest of a graduating student Had a reservation but came late. Requested to be seated and asked the manager if it would be possible and the Manager said to stay and would work with us to move us up on the list. After 20 + minutes and several people being seated ahead of us we realized that we were being basically ignored. Called Uber left the premises and as we waited a valet outside asked if we enjoyed our experience and we told him no and what had happened. He acted surprised and ran into the restaurant to discuss with the management... we had to leave as the Uber was waiting and so left. Get a call in the Uber saying we got a seat but never an apology but just a defensive stance. Went to the Italian district and had better faster nicer service. And food was tasty. Won t be coming back to Los Andes when and if we go back to Providence.

Best place to celebrate anything unless you're seeking intimate conversation.

Nice atmosphere, delicious sangria (by the pitcher), lots of interesting menu items and generous portions. What's not to love?

The paella and churassco de guacho (ribeye), ceviche and tamale were delicious. The tamale is smooth and a little sweet. The cheese rice is also worth a try. Tiger's milk is what they call the leftover citrus and onion/garlic infused juices in the ceviche and you are suppose to drink it. Tasty if you like salty and citrus.

Amazing food and perfect setting to bring a date to if you're in or near the Providence area. Also the staff were extremely kind to me and my date, big thumbs up to them for the service!

This restaurant has a great ambience, perfect for anything between a lunch with friends to business meetings. The menu is quite comprehensive, containing staple Peruvian items as well as some Chifa cuisine elements. The heart skewers (anticuchos) are exceptionally tender and flavorful and the main plate portions are outstanding. Even though it is pricier than your regular Peruvian joint the decor, portions, presentation and service level make up for that gap. I recommend this place.

First time and let me tell you, I would have given it 10 the food is GREAT. The service was excellent and the owner who I witnessed going to tables to make sure everything was what you ordered and explained everything on the menu... Again that is a hidden gem

I'm admittedly no expert on Peruvian cuisine, but this place has hands down some of the best ceviche I've ever had, and their seasonal sangria at Christmas time was AMAZING.

I went here for a holiday dinner with my boyfriend's family and not a single thing that any of us ordered was less than delicious. Service was excellent and the area we were seated in definitely had a nice atmosphere. There's lots of variety on the menu which is nice, especially if you're not accustomed to this style of cooking. Worth checking out if you're in the area for sure.

Everything from the ambiance, the service, and the food were all incredible. Our server James was excellent. I had the Ribeye and it was massive. Prices are very reasonable. The stuffed mushrooms are to die for! Can t wait to come back!

This place is truly awesome. I've come here several times over the years, and it is always first rate. The owners' family is always onsite and they make msny of the Peruvian specialties themselves.

The service is very good, the parking is so-so, and the food is high volume with less than spectacular taste. You def get the sense that these people care about your experience and they try to give you the feel of higher end dining. However, it appears they have sacrificed quality in order to give you a huge amount of food. I got the pork shoulder which was very salty, a little tough and a tad dry. The pork was served over enough rice to feed 3 people along with potatoes and carrots. My co-diner got paella which was also very salty, had mediocre flavor and again seemed excessive on the quantity of rice. If you want good service with a huge mound of average quality food, this is a good place for you.

I dine here with my Family cause my mom loves seafood and this is the best place for seafood lovers. we really enjoyed a lot and staff gave us complementary drinks cause that day was my birthday too.

I'm not a vegetarian but they had the best tasting vegetables I've ever tasted.

I have denied here a few times. Every event was spectacular. Wonderful food, excellent staff and worth every penny.

Some of the best South American food ever made. The service here is world class. The dishes are superb. Try the ceviche. Try the paella. Share with everyone. Laugh, eat, drink, and enjoy.

What a wonderful place. The staff are over the top. The food was simply delicious. It is a must try. I cannot wait to go again.

Really pricey, but they give you a lot of food and it's hearty. 2 apps, 2 espressos, 2 mains, $40 pitcher of Sangria $160. We will be back for more special occasions.

I came here upon recommendation of a Rhode Islander in my training class. The food was outstanding. The service was also excellent. They were very attentive, even during the dinner rush. I had a chicken and a short rib empanada for my starter and the fried rice as my main. Way more food then I could finish. If I'm ever back in Providence I'll definitely be eating here again.

Seriously, this is the gem of Providence. Every time we go there, which is about once a month, there is always new decorative feature. This shows that they're constantly updating their restaurant to appeal to customers. In reality, they don't need to do this since the food is fabulous! Service is always great, they're swift and efficient. They get you in and out without rushing you. And did I mention the food? So many dishes to choose from - meats, seafoods, etc! Even if you're not a foodie, you will enjoy this place as everything is delicious.

Yes this is one of the best restaurants in Providence. I love their seafood, especially the ceviche. We tried their lobster paella this time and it was really good! They even split it in two for us. Their cocktails are tasty and strong as well. Love this place.

I'm a fat guy so this holds a lot of weight ... this may be the best restaurant I have ever been to' I have herd lots of talk about the place and had very high expectations and I have to say I was amazed almost from the time I walked in the door 1st the service was on point from the girl that walked us to the table to the valet who pulled up the car ... lets talk about the food I had some kind of beef rib that was a special the portion size was enough for 2 easily but the taste and presentation was amazing I will be back I can not recommend this place enough well worth the price and wait please make reservations

So very impressed with every aspect of this restaurant; from the reservation manager/hostess to the kitchen and waitstaff, this facility accommodated our group of 25 with ease and expertise. Service was flawless and efficient and food -deliciously prepared and plentiful- was served at a perfect pace. Thanks for making our company Christmas party such an enjoyable event.

Drinks are expensive and I have no idea what the waiter suggested I get..I hate rice and the plate was mostly that...I ended up with a $200 bill...won't go back!

The portions are massive. Have never walked out without leftovers. The food is delicious. The meat plate is crazy and overwhelming for even two people. The wait can be long, so make a reservation if you can. Service is good and the atmosphere is reasonable.

Peruvian with lots of different cultural influences. The food here is amazing! The portions are huge you could share any of the entrees in order to save room for the classico ceviche. Do not be fooled by the outside of this restaurant, leave your keys with the valet and walk into this well decorated comfortable restaurant and do yourself a favor and get the mojito!!

Los Andes is one of Providence's best dining experiences. Here you'll find deliriously happy, well-fed customers dining on Bolivian and Peruvian cuisine, eating dishes such as ceviche, seafood paella, massive spice-marinated ribeye steaks, and Andean regional street food.



The "Ceviche Martini" contains barramundi, squid, shrimp, mussels in an acetic mix of citrus juices, chilies, cilantro, onion, and garlic. Since it is served in a martini glass, you can sip the juices after plucking the last delicious bit of seafood from the cup or, better yet, request a shot of pisco or vodka to spike the 'leche de tigre' with. That said, the ceviche dish to order here is the sweet and spicy "Passionfruit Salmon Ceviche," a smart ceviche mixture of two components that complement each other better than one would expect. Unfortunately, it is not on the regular menu and is a daily special subject to availability.







The restaurant, which looks deceptively homely on the outside, features a modern woody dining room that is a bit too dark for my liking, but made up for by a beautiful and spacious outdoor patio with a separate bar and fish pond in the back. This is the area to reserve a table in, weather permitting. And, yes, you definitely want to make a reservation - this place is busy regardless of day or time.

You won't be disappointed at Los Andes. Even though I grew up in the Providence area, I currently live in California and travel extensively. Los Andes has nonetheless become one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal in the U.S., and it will be one of yours too.

Great food, and some of the most professional waitstaff I've ever seen. Possibly the best restaurant I've ever been to.

I m from Bolivia and this place is one of the best Bolivian restaurants I ve been to. I live in NY but come here every time I m in the area, even if it makes me take a big detour. Yeah it is that good.
