The time my father spent here at the hospital my father and was very please with the services we both received. Everyone of the nurse and doctors always had a smile on there face. And so caring n kind. Thank you to all of the staff. . from henery huss
Great hospital! :-) I delivered my son in Arrowhead Medical Center and I'm so please with everybody. Dr. Gomez is a great doctor, the nurses were awesome (Christine and Sol) they took care of us wonderfully and made me feel like home. Food is great too :-) and the housekeepers do a awesome job :-) I only have good things to say about my experience. Everyone one the third floor are awesome. Rosario is a very nice breast feeding consultant. And the nurses Kim in pediatrics and I don't remember the other name but thank you so much for everything!
Wow. I ve dealt with some bs in my life, but never in my life have I ever had to deal with so many people who gave no care in the world wether you re okay or not. I ve been here since July 10 at 7 am for my mother s surgery on her appendix. We were informed that she is gonna receive the surgery by tonight. It s July 11 at 10:20 am, and we still yet have to receive any information on wether or not it s going to happen. My mother hasn t eaten since 11pm on July 9, so you can understand my frustration. Every single time I ask one of the nurses, I receive the same response; that this is all apart of the procedure. Is it really? Starving my mother while receiving no information whatsoever. I don t understand why I have to wait almost 30 hours for a 2 hour surgery. Ridiculous. Don t come here unless you re pregnant or passed out or be prepared for a good 9 hour wait. But hey, it s part of the process.
I will keep an update.
It is 6pm July 11 now. I haven t received any updates whatsoever. Only time they come in is to check her blood pressure and change her IV. This has been the worst hospital experience I have ever encountered. Not one doctor has showed up today.
About 730 they finally started the operation. So, for about 36 hours we ve been kept on wait, just for an easy 1-2 hour operation. This hospital man.
My uncle went in Monday night with a mild stroke and it is Wednesday now and he still has no doctor assigned.. Told him to fast all Tuesday so he could get an MRI and guess what? There was no MRI performed. But I am sure they will try to send the bill of his luxurious stay there. Why is the treatment so despicable? It is his race? He is not important enough?
Excellent service and excellent staff! My daughter gave birth on January 6th, 2019 and she got all the support from nurses, Drs...Thanks for everything and all the support!
In 2008 my son was helivacted to Arrowhead regional from Apple valley with extremely critical injuries. Ruptured femoral artery, broken femur, triple compound fracture of the left leg, ruptured spleen, broken jaw on both sides, major head trauma, crushed and torn colon, a lacerated liver with internal bleeding and a severely broken left arm. By the time he was wheeled into the ER he have almost no blood in his body. The ER doctor on call that night was an internal medicine specialist and he saved my son's life. He repaired and reshaped his colon so he wouldn't have to have a colostomy bag at 17 and saved all of his other vital organs except for his spleen. After five different operations repairing all the broken bones, it was then discovered he had 100% brain damage. To make a longer story short miraculously he came out of a coma two weeks later and as of 2016 you would never know he had an accident other than the scars. There still is no medical explanation for why he is functioning normally since he had millions of mini strokesthroughout the brain in a pool of blood in the frontal lobe.. I can't say enough good things about this hospital and the entire staff in intensive care. God bless all the doctors & nurses who took care of my son and refused to give up on him after being in a coma for so long. His insurance company wanted to take him off life support because of the time he had been in the coma but Earl had fought for us and he finally woke up. It was basically a miracle. Thank you again Arrowhead regional for saving my son's life and for all the wonderful things you do to save people's lives. I lived in your hospital for almost a month and you made me feel like family. I could never thank you enough.
Today I took my mother because her ear hurts and the doctor told her that she didn't know why it hurt. I told him neither. And he repeated the same thing to me and said he has nothing. I told him why it hurts? And she got up and with a very bad attitude she answers me because she has nothing and got up from the chair made a face with her mouth. And I grabbed and told my mom, let's go, what are we doing here? And I got out, don't wait for the papers they give. That doctor wants patients to be diagnosed.
This place is disgusting. From the staff to the service, to just about everything. It dosent make sense how you have to literally wait in a STANDING LINE in the EMERGENCY ROOM to get any kind of service. Most of the staff aren t very caring nor do they show the slightest of hospitality. I m not from California and honestly if this is how California wants to represent their medical care. You re better off with taking care of yourself. I had a poor lady sitting in a wheelchair with horrible pains try to speak for herself, and no one would listen. Luckily myself and a waiting guest, had the heart to help her. Don t come here. I wish there was like a negative number of stars that s how bad it is. You re a hospital not the DMV. Act like it.
Worst hospital ever. I waited in the ER 7 hours for blood results to be informed that they misplaced my sample. I ended up staying there for over 9 hours for some leg pain. I will never go back there. I do not recommend anyone to come to this place. Staff is rude. Patients are treated as numbers. It lacks of organization structure.
Can't complain came in cause my friend's dog bit my hand, waited patiently the entire process . If you want to be seen FASTER I suggest just shut your mouth and be polite. They attended my needs. And was taken care of by the pa whom was very kind to help get me out fast was there for about 3hrs normal waiting time. You do have some staff members whom you can tell are over about their day and their were a few who were so kind and pleasant. When I went there was a lady complaining about the service and how Loma Linda was better and complained she got an injury prior before to try and be seen FASTER only resulted her way too be escorted out the premises. They improved their waiting room, and they check you in first then have you wait in the lobby, then they go by in order. I recommend coming here but that's the only great tip I can get if you want to be seen faster cause the more your on their case the slower you'll be getting your service
I was worried that my husband was having a heart attack we were there for 8 hours and the only reason I am putting in the time that we spent there is because at the end when we're getting dismissed our doctor Jared Johns ran test after test trying to make sure my husband was 100% not having a heart attack that's what i was worried about and he made sure that he was healthy enough to come home he literally watched him which i appreciate all the time he spent on him at the end of our visit i felt comfortable leaving the hospital because I knew that my husband was going to be okay thank you so much
I have worked in the medical field for over 25 years in OC working for big Hospitals as a Child Birth Educater and I have to admit that I have heard nothing but positive comments, please keep in mind that a Woman who is in Labor is not herself she is nervous, emotional, exited lots of mixed emotions including frustration and most of the time the nurses are doing there BEST to keep everyone Happy, first of all the Patient and that unborn baby, because that is her priority Second the patient's Family and the Patient's Doctor who is constantly calling to make sure everything is running smoothly with his Patient. My respect to All of you Nurses that give your 110% for your commitment.
Do not come to Labor and Delivery, PA tried to lie and keep me stating my baby was measuring at 33 weeks at the head and I m 37 weeks. Came to my home hospital where I plan to deliver and my baby is measuring at my exact dates. PA urged me to stay and told me if I left I could face morality for my daughter and I.
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is the worst I was in the emergency room since 7pm and I had blood drawn and had urine taken from me and they lost both my results but note it s 1:46am and they are barley telling me they need to retake my blood because they lost them twice and they are also very dirty and didn t care that people weren t wearing mask and the nurses were very rude toward patients I clearly left didn t want to wait another 6 and half no thank you I will definitely have to call the California state medical board Wish I could give them them no stars I feel light headed and they wanted to take more Blood
This is my first time here in L&D and I've been here for almost two weeks. So far all the nurses have been so sweet and caring. The doctors are all very intelligent and understanding. When canceling my baby shower my doctor suggested to have it here. So here I had it and all the staff including house cleaning were all so helpful in cleaning and getting it ready for the day. It turned out really nice with no problems. If I have another baby this is the hospital I would love to have it at.
Very bad experience for my brother. My brother has Arrowhead as his medical provider. He has had several symptoms gait (shuffling of his feet, falling down), diminishing memory capability, and loss of bladder control. We went in to see a Dr in the neurology department at Arrowhead for possible tests and solutions. The neurosurgeon heard our input around symptoms and input we got from another neurologist (who indicated my brother had Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) or water on the brain) and did a quick check of my brother. After his examination he suggested that my brother had Alzheimer s disease and probably not NPH, even though my brother is only 59 years old. We pushed him for him to do a test, lumbar puncture, that would drain fluid off the brain and have a 4 day observation to see primarily improvement in his gait. This test would definitely prove one way or the other if my brother had NPH. He refused, indicating it was an intrusive procedure, even though, my brother and I agreed to it. He pushed back to get another evaluation from another neurologist. Thus delaying again help for my brother (we had already waited 6 weeks to see him). He scheduled something 3 weeks out. While we were waiting for the next appointment, my brother fell and was transported to Arrowhead emergency. ER doctors ran some tests and saw the condition of my brother and schedule a series of tests, even though the same neurosurgeon from the appointment above questioned him being admitted. He was admitted, and the lumbar puncture was done and the results were NPH and surgery was done to implant a shunt mechanism to drain fluid from his brain. The neurosurgeon did not have the courtesy to talk to the family after the surgery or anytime during the recovery. We had to talk to the nurses to get information about my brother. The nurses and other staff were very good during the week long stay there. Unfortunately, my brother has neurological issues now, among other physical issues. He was released without any mental evaluation and sent home for us to deal with.
Although the staff are friendly, it has taken almost a year and a half (and still counting) to receive surgery for my right arm which was shattered by gunshot wound. The 11 days I was in their care, a group of Drs. would surround my bed daily and tell me they were not sure how they were going to fix my arm because of the severity of the injury. I did not let their confusion stray me from my faith, and after caring for my wound with an occasional visit from an in home nurse, the Dr's finally thought to do bone grafting with cadaver. I was told this in November of last year and was also told I would receive surgery by January and the latest February. We are now in June. I understand they may have a lot of patients in the orthopedic clinic, but they can at least answer their phone. I call four to six times a week only to leave a voicemail (if the mailbox isn't full that day) and never get a call back. I've even spoken various times to the supervisor who now recognizes my voice and remembers my situation because of the persistence I've had trying to get help for my arm. I hope I can get surgery before their is irreversible damage.
It s a no from me. It s dirty. Every time I ve been there. And two, they take so long to call on you! I ve been to 2 others hospitals, St. bernardines and Kaiser and they don t take half as long. I waited 3 hours to just results from an X-ray! I understand there s a Many patients. But still, the amount they make you wait is ridiculous. Never going back.
They forget TO DO THERE JOBS SOMETIMES i do not recommend for birth here go to loma Linda or Redlands THEY FORGOT TO PUT IN THE SYSTEM MY SONS NEWBORN VACCINE SHOTS I HAD PROVE AND THEY DID NOT.
I can not believe the reviews, this is by far one of the BEST hospitals, my expierience was very good and awesome, every nurse, Nurse Manager are caring with a human touch, they are just like You and I, normal people striving to perform to their BEST, I am very happy for the 2 times that I've had to recieved an excellent experience. God Bless
Worst. Er depth ever. The discharge papers take for ever. We've been waiting for at least an hour and a half to 2 hours. JUST FOR DISCHARGE PAPERS!!! In redlands community hospital, you only wait 5-10 minutes!!! We're never coming here again. Sorry, not sorry. For those of you who can't wait, go to redlands. They'll take of you real good.
HORRIBLE !!!!!every time... they give you a 15 min leeway not to mention it takes 20 to 30 to find parking. Then waiting in line to check in!!!! Ridiculous once your finally get checked in they wanna reschedule you if I could give a negative score I would.
My husband in hospital there now.He was told all kind of injuries to his back. Then 5 days later he went to surgery. Dr.said couple pins they put in.yesterday they said he needed plates and screws. What is the real truth. No bow movement for 6 days. He is cramping real bad in stomach. Blockage would be serious.
Story short, I was threatened by a physician and experienced three days of trauma due to that threat. 3 Days of feeling unsafe, vulnerable, and powerless. I had 0 control over what was happening to me or my treatment. I m looking into taking legal action as my patient rights were greatly violated and the experience was so horrible/traumatic ... someone needs to be held responsible... do yourself a favor - life or death go somewhere else. I would quite literally choose death over the experience of being treated here.
This hospital is amazing. My husband was riding his motorcycle and was hit by a car. He suffered broken bones, a collapsed lung and bleeding on his brain. The entire staff always kept me informed. They were all very courteous and kind. My husband was later moved to ICU on critical but stable condition. They made a place for me to sleep next to him and gave me food. Knowing I am pregnant they were very careful about doing his Xrays. I'm very impressed by the care he has received thus far. Very impressed.
I was reated well by all the staff except for one worker who seemed to discriminate, was rude an ignorant about about my disability. On the other hand there was an amazing medical professional named Lori Vasquez who went above and beyond to help me get through the procedure. It was truly impressive to see such a "from the heart and soul", 100% caring for the individual patients needs, type of person. Again, Lori Vasauezof Internal Medicine. She deserves an award.
We were in and out of there so organized and professional staff. I've been in ER's where it never seemed like I was leaving this one was structured so professionally I was so impressed! Thank you!
My stay here 4 yrs ago was GREAT! But this time around it's pathetic!! Specifically, there's a large percentage of nurses, therapists, etc. who use minimizing/maximizing tactics in order to blame shift to their advantage. Also, lies of omission (selective facts) so that what is true is seen as false, etc. the WHOLE TRUTH is repressed to their advantage. They blacken your record so as to establish their own in covert lies Unethical staff with little to no fair representation -- no advocacy for the patient--it's all about the staff.
OK, and this one LOL. Look it here. This is the WORST hospital I have ever been to in my life! Do NOT trust too many people if any of them ( some staff are good.) I will share about the "Women's Health Center" located on the 2end floor whether you be male or female in the waiting room, it sucks really bad! They make you wait too long. Do not be surprised if you wait for 2 hours and wait again in the examination room, you have been warned. As for the "Women's Health Center" Many of the doctors as well as the student doctors are lazy. Most likely you will get a student doctor who really seems to know nothing if anything at all even if it is a women student doctor! Sad but true! You would think cuse it is a "Women's Health Center" that they would be more sympathetic and knowable if they are female student doctors at least over all, I know they are still learning but still. There is a resident doc, Mogan Boarden, the last time I was there who is lazy, does not seem to read your medical record. But it seems like these days many doctors do NOT read your medical record. I suggest you bring a family or friend with you just encase something goes down at least you have someone there with you and for you . Yes, they can go in the medical room with you, but they may not be there for the examination if you need one ( you might have to asked about that family/friends with examinations.) Have a cell phone with you at all times just encase and even for evidence ( you might catch evidence on your cell phone.) You are going to wait long in the wait room so you might want to bring food or drinks even though they have a sign posted that says that you cannot in the wait room, but if you are gong to be waiting you just might need to bring something especially if you are diabetic or pregnant. Why the long wait? They are slow and lazy. I have seen lazy student doctors! The regular doctors might be lazy to, but not necessarily all student and regular docs. Document EVERYTHING and get your medical records including x - rays as often as possible like maybe every 3 or 6 months, but then again it is up to you how often you go to the this hospital. Some people just might be writing things about you that is NOT true so get your records! . A so called "specialist" you need to watch out for Dr. Brian Acacio he just might give you the wrong information that can cause you some problems, do NOT TRUST HIM. He makes his visits at least the last time I saw him. Please people bring a family/ friend with you even though it says "Women's Health Center" you can still bring a husband with you, but you still might be waiting for a long time. You could be waiting anywhere from maybe 2 or even 5 hours and maybe even longer! IF you go there you will understand about what kind of wait you will have and the situation.
I was admitted on the 19th and discharged today. I just wanted to thank everyone from the ER staff and MedSurg for everything they all did for me. Your compassion and concern did not go unnoticed. Thank you all again for making me feel safe and comfortable. Robert Weber
This place has a very dumb and crusty nurse who decided it was on to make fun of this beautiful and adorable girl by calling her fat even though she clearly wasn't. I suggest that they make staffing improvements and get better personality and enthusiasm.
Omg never had such an amazing experience in a hospital took my 3 year old bcus he was having respiratory problem and they treated him so well and fast had to stay over night and treat me well as well make sures we were both comfortable as can be with food as well as blankets etc . Loved all the docs and nurses they were so nice such a blessing that we received God bless you all each one them
It takes absolutely forever to get any bloodworm or extra tests done. Be prepared to wait an hour on average for bloodwork. They really dont have many people working in that department and they only draw four people at a time. So its painstakingly slow even did they have people because their process is a nightmare.
ER is horrible. Came here around 4pm. Did all test around 6/7. Took my vitals three times before get some results were given. Here is 10:15pm with no hope or answers.
Sad n Slow
Next time San Antonio Hospital ER in Upland is the best route.
I recently suffered a miscarriage. Labor and delivery emergency services was the worst experience I ever had. Not only was I heartbroken that I was miscarrying but the nurses and doctors showed no sympathy or care in the world what I was going through. I never heard the words "sorry for your loss" or "are you ok" or "is there anything I can do for you a glass of water maybe?" They simply put me in a room bleeding out on their chair in pain for an hour and a half by myself crying before a doctor even came in to check me. Then they did a quick check up left me again for another hour myself bleeding waiting to do an ultrasound. Once everything was done they sent me home 4 hours later again showing no care or sympathy or support for what I just went through. Doctor didn't even take the time to come into my room and confirm my miscarriage! All I know is that when they did the ultrasound they did not see no baby anymore that's all they said to me! When I was leaving I asked for wipes to help clean myself from bleeding. Nurse gave me attitude for even asking and said she had no wipes that I can clean myself in the bathroom by myself. I felt pain I was weak and they showed no care in the world. I know they had wipes its labor and delivery babies need wipes!!! It was just the worst experience ever and I don't ever wish it upon anyone else. Shame on the staff in this hospital!!! Shame!
I was having minor surgery and I was really scared. The nurses and surgeons and everyone except the receptionist where great! But who cares about the receptionist. The Drs and nurses were excellent!
My daughter was transferred here after an auto accident w/ a semi because they had a trauma unit. I was not notified til the following day at which my daughter had to make the call while she was on heavy pain medication and I could barely understand her. I don't know why the staff could not make the call for her. When I arrived in her room, her sheets and pillowcase had dried blood on them .. I changed the pillowcase myself and her son ordered the nurse to redress the wound whuch looked like the original O.R. bandage. The room was dusty and it was impossible to get any useful information. The nurses at the desk were just standing around. It seemed as soon as she was awake, they shoved more morphine into her drip, probably so she wouldn't be a bother. She needed surgery and had to wait 3 days before it was performed. Her doctor seemed competent and gave us information as to the result of the surgery. We were there 3 days before we ever saw any physician check on her and that was only at the time of surgery. Think twice before coming here.
WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! my mother is still at this hospital until she recovers from her surgery yesterday morning but after our family and i waited hours to see her after surgery when they told us we were gonna see her before she gets moved to her actual room, the staff had us going all over the place, told us to go upstairs to her actual room to wait for her but we waited so long we ended up returning to the waiting surgery room and they did not know why they told us that when she was not ready!! So after she was finally put in her room to rest and recover her head nurse was getting her meds ready and settling her in so she asked my mom questions knowing she does not speak English that well and also starts to yell at her asking her questions when my mom can hardly speak due to her being still under anesthesia and loopy in pain, then the patient next to her sharing rooms starts being extremely loud on her phone when we asked the nurses to ask her to keep it down the nurse doesn't do anything about it and brings my mom ear plugs! The patient next to us through out the entire afternoon i stayed was being extremely loud and rude on her phone having people on speaker and her tv loud and not one staff did nothing about it when told, my poor mother was not able to fully rest and kept getting nauseated from the loud noise, also before i left i asked the nurse to bring her pillows and there response was "we ran out of pillows but as soon as we get more we will get her some"...?? i do not understand if its just me or are they suppose to be more attentive to the patients specially straight out of surgery, also earlier after we had just told the nurse to tell the patient next to us to keep it down two nurse outside of our room start arguing really loud, wow what a great hospital this is!! oh and another thing they only came 4 times to her room to check up on her out of the whole 8 hours i was there and it was only because we buzzed her to come help us...today i will be going again and taking care of my mother instead of the hospital, i'am extremely upset and seriously this is one of the worse hospitals I've ever been in for any type of service, worse staff ever too in the recovery floor sorry not sorry! The only star i will give to this pathetic place if for the super kind guy that comforted me and my mother before her surgery also the three staff that were extremely kind to us before surgery too, other then that this hospital is a joke!!!
This is the last hospital I would come to. I came here with a family member and in total we waited 9 HOURS mostly because the nurses weren't doing their job all they did was sit around and talk to each other and they were also rude to some patients including my family member. Plus they didn't even numb him correctly for what they needed to do. He ended up coming out worse than what he was. IT WAS VERY TERRIBLE HERE!
If I could give this place lower than poor, that is exactly what I would put. My husband went in a month ago complaining about tooth pain. With barely just a glance at him they gave him 10 days of antibiotics and pain medicine. For an entire month the pain persisted. Yesterday my husband went on the Bus to that GOD awful place, he had been up all night in extreme pain. He arrived at the hospital a little after 10 am in the morning. From the time he was there until I could get there at 3:15 pm, he sat there in pain. They didn't give him anything to help soothe or give him any relief. When I first arrived the girl at the window sent me into a hallway looking for my husband. He wasn't there. :/ They sent me to the wrong location 6 different times while I was there looking for him. So from 3:15 we waited until about 2 more hours for a CAT Scan. During the Scan a nurse told me that the results would take an hour for the radiologist. After two hours I went to the front and asked a nurse Allison about it. She was rude, uncaring and tried to brush me off. Then another nurse Joanna decided she was going to join the conversation, bobbing her head and very rudely told me I had to wait until they were ready to read them and it could take over two hours. So I went up to her and told that it had been OVER two hours and she should reconsider opening her mouth because it just shows how ignorant she is about her job. There was another rude nurse there that also tried to send me away. I asked to speak to the charge nurse and they refused to send her to talk to me. They wouldn't allow me to sit near my husband although he was in severe pain and they were not helping him. At 10:30 pm they said they were going to release my husband. After waiting 1 1/2 hours, they had the nerve to tell us that they LOST his chart!! This staff is an embarrassment and a disgrace. I HATE this place. My family will NEVER be going there again. If I would write a review for every lousy experience here it would be full. Last month they scared the living day lights out of our entire family by telling us my baby sister had meningitis when it was only strep throat. I intend to write a certified letter to the hospital itself and to the Medical Board. This place is a joke, say hi to the next Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital.
I want to thank all the teams that help deliver my baby , I'm so very thankful and blessed it was a risk of me loseing alot , of blood my because of my situation I was in a high risk pregnancy but they took care of me my surgery was a success and my baby was healthy she got to come home with me , the doctors the nurses were all there for me and my baby they wanted what was best for me because they care about there patients , the care was great the stay was great I never once felt like I was being ignored ,THANK YOU ARROWHEAD
Called a week in advance to make an appointment was given the time of 130 today arrived signed in and was told they are two hours behind on appoitments we could have walked in and recived the same wait time. We are here cause a family member was given a diagnosis of prostate cancer. We made the appoitmnet for this reasson it is hard for him to sit for extended leangth of time and after a drive from barstow he is in agony !!!!! Why is this acceptable
Everyone in behavioral health is as rude as can be and a man in the waiting room was flipping out, the police officer just sat there and watched. These people are sitting there for hours waiting without anyone tending to them.
Was brought here in an abulance because i was going into DKA, they didnt attend to me at all. Was having bad chest pains amd having difficulty breathing. They just sat me down and didnt do a god damn thing but send me back to wait in the lobby. Horrible service. I was better off walking out of there and going back home.
My sister was due to have her baby on the 27th but was pushed back to the 1st now the 5th. She's been in labor since the 31st. They're were supposed to do her c-section surgery at 10 am it's now 11 am and she hasn't even been seen, not to mention she is a high risk pregnancy.
The parking was horrible the wait was ridiculous and the staff was inattentive and rude my bf had a gash on his leg they didn't clean it until u kept complaining about it and he needed stitches they were going to just send him home i have top take him to another hospital just to get proper care this is ridiculous worst experience ever
Horrible place sorry to say brother in law has been here since 12 pm and has not been seen all people we encountered are very rude and one nurse was on her phone constantly, no bed side Manor for my brother ,it is now 821 pm they finally took him in for fluids and I don't know what they didn't let anyone go i ,and they call the same people's names 4 times and they were already in there No Comunication All ,this hospital was supposed to be a very good one WHAT HAPPENED
Was a inmate on the 4th floor stork unit. Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff for treating me like a patient and not like a inmate thank you so much. Girls. And yes I'm still parying thank to the one that kept me in faith. Psalms 193. Thank you again to my 4th floor angels. Joe
I suffer from severe ptsd flashbacks from the 3 days i was in hospital mentally and verbally abused by staff and overdosed on medication by the doctors. Who the hell uses 600 mg of seroquel!?
I suffer from ptsd flashbacks that link directly to the three days i was in Arrowhead and the severe trauma it left on me. As a psychiatric hospital, people who are there need your help! I suffer from major depression among other things and was hospitalized for a presumed suicide attempt. If anyone stayed in the hospital and werent suicidal, they would be after being here. All it takes is one trigger and I am in a flashback and sobbing and hysterical and begging to die. This hospital needs to be shut down.
Ive been in the L&D a few times and i hate it. They take forever. One time i was waiting for about 8 hours just to be told i was okay and i could go home. 8 FREAKING HOURS. Ive been to kaiser aswell and comparing their time frame they are way faster and more professional. Im here once again, cause i was told by kaiser that since ARMC has my records i should just keep coming here, but damn ive been waiting for 2 hours and i still havent been seen.if i would have went to kaiser i would of been on my way home already. Come on L&D hurry up.
Worst hospital on the planet. Committed insurance fraud. Lied about what's wrong with me and kept me in for a week for no reason other then money. Didnt know it was a county hospital til I was admitted. I can see why people think the way that they do about this hospital. I'll be calling my lawyers on this one.
I was there for my 12 weeks ultrasound. I'm considered high risk. My ultrasound lasted a little bit less than 2 MINUTES. The technician didnt give me the opportunity to hear my baby's heart, nor I could see the baby moving. I'm afraid she didn't do a good job taking measurement, or gather important information
This place is horrible to be a patient at. My wife just had a baby on the 3rd floor(labor and delivery) area. We were treated by a rude heavy set African American woman with an attitude. The after she took forever while my wife was having contractions she said for us to have a seat and wait. We waited for another 30 min to 1hour before being seen. Keep in mid this was 9 PM and not a patient in sight. They have no sense of urgency whatsoever. Do not come here if you have the choice.
The E.R. was so dirty and run down. The staff was completely inappropriate and talking about stuff they shouldn't when they have patients. They yell across rooms...seriously people are coming in their because they are not well they don't want to hear your dirty jokes and snide remarks. Bit only that but the doctors are completely dismissive. If you aren't coding blue they will discharge you and tell you everything is fine take a Tylenol.
Short version: This place is the worst. This place is quantity over quality. You are just a number for them to get in and out. You will struggle to find parking.
Detailed reason: I have been coming here for 4 months while waiting for my husbands insurance to kick in. I am a high risk pregancy patient.. and I feel no relief going here. You are treated like cattle. I never get my questions answered. They go through the motions and send u on your way. They schedule YOUR appointments with no consideration at all to you. If you can't make it they make a fuss. Also the parking is awful. NO PREGANCY PARKING!! Their reply to this issue is "get dropped off at the front"... not everyone has that luxury or option. So walking a football field to get to the front door, if you can find parking, is your only option. The times are RIDICULOUS as well. You will always wait at least a hour after your scheduled time. They tell u to come 15 minutes early and get upset if you dont.. only to have you wait hours before they call your name. The earliest appointment ive had here is 8:30. I arrived at 8... they had 2 peoole in the waiting area. I wasnt called till 9:30. We were the FIRST PATIENTS!!! They didnt even start their work day on time and will penalize you for being on time and not 15 early. I'm at 34 weeks now had have questions about labor and delivery, as this is my first time, the response i get is that i will talk about it with a doctor at a later date. As a new mom and first time being pregnant NONE OF THIS IS CALMING OR COMFORTING!!! You would think in the pregnancy department at least they would be a little more attentive to help calm scared or stressed first time mothers. You would be very wrong!
WELL I JUST WANTED TO SAY THIS HOSPITAL IS BY FAR THE BEST HOSPITAL I HAVE BEEN TO IN THE INLAND EMPIRE... I BROUGHT MY GODMOTHER AND HER 96 YEAR OLD FATHER IN ... AS SOON AS I WALKED IN I WAS GREETED BY A SECURITY GUARD. I ASKED HIM FOR A WHEELCHAIR AND WAS QUICK TO HELP . HE WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL... HE GUIDED US THROUGHT THE METAL DETECTOR DIRECTED US TO THE EMERGENCY WAITING ROOM .. WE STOOD IN LINE MAYBE LIKE 5 MINUTES. FRONT RECEPTIONIST ASKED ME A FEW QUESTIONS AND IMMEDIATELY INFORM THE E.R.NURSES OF HIS MEDICAL PROBLEM , GOT HIM ADMITTED RIGHT AWAY... VERY IMPRESSED ON HOW WELL AND QUICK THEY RESPONDED AS A TEAM ... THEY WERE AMAZING. EVEN THOUGH MY GODMOTHER 96 YEAR OLD FATHER MADE IT DIFFICULT. AND WAS FIGHTING WITH THE NURSES... THE NURSES WERE DOING A GREAT JOB. TO GET THE MEDICAL TREATMENT HE NEEDED... ERICKA WAS HIS NURSE AND WAS VERY NICE . THIS HOSPITAL IS QUICK TO RESPOND, THEY KEPT IT PROFESSIONAL, POLITE TO MY GOD MOTHER THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING VERY WELL.... VERY INTENTIVE... ALL THE STAFF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM FROM SECURITY TO FRONT DESK TO THE ER STAFF AND EVEN X RAY TECH AND THE GIRL THAT REGISTERED HIM WERE ARE AWESOME . ...
Thank you for the support and care that you have given my father during his final moments and making him as comfortable as possible. For this we are extremely grateful.
Truly wish there was a negative star. Mixing up my daughters' charts! Especially one with a head injury! They discharged her without evaluating her . Only took her vitals. Gave my other daughter's med rx to her. Releasing her by stating, "you seem ok from the assessment " Back pain pt and head injury patient. I am beyond fuming. And now she has to come back to be ACTUALLY seen. But please, keep talking about personal issues in front of your patients.
My husband has been in this hospital since the 12-24 the nurses there and the staff suck everytime I go my husband sheets have blood they don't clean him this Hospital sucks I don't even know why it's not even open they should shut it down
Well spent 8 hours there, and they made a handful of mistakes (not to mention the ridiculous wait) P.s. Guadalupe lam if ur lookin for ur paperwork I got it. Don't blame me. O and for any of u employees actually trying and being helpful. Thank u. But the end result is still trash... well now I guess I gotta go waste 8 more hours of my life to fix this
Oh wait there's more.. when I came back to return the papers. They told me that I took 2 pills while I was here (I didnt) and when the new nurses came in (back at 7am) they did nothing but talk to each other about a wedding or one nurses children for the first 30 mins of their shift. People are wailing in pain and get no attention at all. A man came in shortly after me (around 2 am) and he was in terrible pain. He didn't get anything for the pain for 5 hours! This IS a hospital right? Smh
Since the day one that I got here on June 28 20 I was in pain and I told nurses I couldn t handle it they gave me medicine for pain they were always asking if I was doing ok . I appreciate Ms.D from the ER who attended me nicely and made sure I was doing ok and always hand sanitizing the seats and anything people would touch. Same goes to ILyssa from medical/surgery always cared for my pain took good care . I also appreciate Raj nurse from medical/surgery they were the best I felt safe I got to go home on July 1, they need to be recognized for their hard work for being kind and respectful towards patients . Thank you nurses
