It's a night mare the ER 9 hour wait....to be given Benadryl... Really

So I've came here about 5 times now throughout my daughters 3 years life span and I cannot express how great it makes me feel that they have always payed attention and catered to my daughter whenever shes sick. I've never had to wait over an hour for her to get her vital check started, they are always really patient with her acknowledging she is a sick cranky child and still treat her so great. They listen to her even if shes just a baby and got her a room pretty quick last night. More specifically a RN named Shasta listened, observed and got my daughter into a room to get her the help she needed, thank you so much for arrowhead and emergency room staff for being so great with my kid I wouldn't go anywhere else to have her seen in a time of emergency !

All of our gear was stolen from our truck in the parking lot, and they said that happens alot????

The care my brother received from this hospital was horrible. A CNA refused to take care of my brother after he sustain injuries from a car accident. My brother waited 3 days for a surgery for his shattered knee and we could not obtain information on his care and the procedure he was under going. My brother was left without his call light and called family to call the nurse when he needed service. He was moved to telemetry for After 2 days my brother requested to be transferred to another facility.

On my 7th hour still waiting to be seen with a broken hand. How is this acceptable? We have to do better. Doesn't seem like these people care or know what they are doing. Truly dissapointed. Go somewhere else.

I live in Los Angeles, but prefer Arrowhead hospital

Ridiculously long waits and had to wait 7 hours for simple examination. This is the worst medical center I have ever been to and I hope some new organization puts them out of business so a competent medical center can be there.

On 13 November 2017, I arrived at Arrowhead Emergency room by ambulance after being transferred from Desert Valley hospital due to the type of my injury. The Arrowhead Emergency room staff was very professional and attentive. I suffered from an injury to my right arm and elbow. I had broken both sides of my upper and lower parts of the arm and dislocated the elbow joint.
The PA-C on duty was very professional and kept me informed of any of the actions taken.
My issue is with the Orthopedic physician, whom I found to have extremely poor bedside manners. He arrived looking like he rolled out of the bed next to mine and in dire need of a cup of coffee. he started to attempt to explain to me what the situation enentails using medical jargon.
I asked him to explain it to my wife on the phone (she is a PA-C, plus I was on pain medication and unable to concentrate ).
His very rude answer was: "why?, you are the one injured and will be going through Surgery ".
I signed the susurgery consent, and I was informed that "someone will be calling me to inform me of the surgery date."
It is now January 2018, that phone call from Arrowhead Orthopedics never came in.
I have since, seeked treatment and Surgery across town at a much more reputable medical center with great results. I am currently in physical therapy for my hand and wrist.
I guess I was lucky to have never heard back from Arrowhead, not even as a follow up after the ER discharge.
I would have rated higher, but, I assigned the low rating as a collective score.
Arrowhead medical center was reimbursed for all the charges incurred and requested since I carry an excellent rated insurance plan.

I had my daughter via c-section here and I have to say, my experience here was awsome. There all so sweet and they took care of all my needs. All the nurse's made me feel comfortable. I have no complaints.

This hospital is the worst i have ever been to. they dont care about your health they care about making money. i was given a false positive for H.I.V diagnostic that ruined my life until another hospital tested me 3 times with a negative result. i have also been here 6 times in the past week and everyone tells me something different. i do not recomend this hospital to anyone not even in an emergency situation. go to kaiser or somewhere else but not here! paying the extra money is worth your health. the doctors here are just collecting paychecks and don't care about their patients! it took me 6 visits to finally get medication that will help.

My wife recently had ankle fusion surgery here. We went through same day outpatient. The staff that I came in contact with were great from janitorial staff to doctor's. Only staff that I felt could have been more nice and patient would be the ladies checking in patients. They came off as not being happy with the job and gossiping about patients. Not even being discreet about it. Was sitting in the center of the waiting room and was able to hear them. Still highly recommended by me.

I was treated good and all their staff members were so nice to me.

Hospital has all facilities. It's only one center which has neurological department.
But the waiting time even in Emergency section, is too long. That makes patients to suffer too much.

I had my heart treatment here. It's awesome and I loved there system, all doctors,nurses are really good and friendly. And one more thing I really liked, there rehab program. I remember the name of the nurse is Mia, she was really good with us.

This is the worst emergency room in maricopa county - bar none

I had a brother admitted here in ARMC. I have to say, that I've never been to a more unprofessional medical facility in my life. I'm thankful my brother left the ICU with his life. Watching my brother go though a very difficult time. Hearing the nurses and Training DR's fraternizing in the hallway. Made me feel like I was back in high school.

I will be updating this periodically but my experience in the 30 days I spent in the burn unit was absolutely wonderful the nurse their JOSE must be number one on the list for me as for he saved my life not just with his words but his actions he is above and beyond his job title it's hard to believe that he is just a nurse and not a hard-working doctor he definitely spend every minute of his time there with good quality and there is nobody that can explain anything better than him he's above and beyond thank you JOSE
now another nurse there I hope I don't get her name wrong but she knows what she is her name is BATOOL. She has a heart of gold she looks up the best fruit cocktail drinks ever and that was one of the first things I had after a Cherry Coke of course when I was finally allowed to drink I was born severely and it felt like she had been burned in her life before but she had it she know exactly what to say and what to do and she in turn new more than any other nurse there when it came down to just needing a hug hard to hug someone in Burns on their body but she gave me a hug and it really really settled my souland for that I am so thankful I couldn't have been happier to stab someone wrap their arms around me and love me for just a second.

This hospital is so disfunctional. the women and men in er are so rude and have such a bad attitude.the women in floor 2 women's clinic are rude also and make appointments and everything difficult. From ultrasounds to blood work to everything... They just give you the run around.Took forever to get a little proof of pregnancy. The midwife there is rude. Nurses are rude ..over heard them talking bad about a patenint out loud. Overall bad hospital, bad service, do not go there !!!

I will never come here would rather die than come here. I spent 14 hours and no one notified me of anything. Redlands community hospital is great and efficient. Always walk in and out in a timely manner.

My baby girl was born here. I had a great experience. The nurses were awesome! & the doctors as well. If I have another baby, hands down, I'll pick this hospital again.!

I don't understand. After reading all this bad reviews, is anything going to be done to improve all this? Does anybody from administration read them? I understand that they have lots of patients, but please treat us with respect cause we are not stupid the the doctors think we are. If we go there it is because we can not go anywhere else and the doctors and administration know that. That is why we are treated like ANIMALS! I hope somebody takes the time to read all this review s and do something about it.

Wish I could put a negative. VERY MEAN AND disrespectful staff. That includes the "security", Receptionist and vital nurse. All had a really disgusting attitude. After three rude remarks we had enough and just walked out, wasn't worth staying. People like them shouldn't be allowed to work in hospitals if they can't even talk to someone with proper respect.

They also have a messy and dirty area.

Worst service ever. Not the first time that this happens. The wait was not so much the problem the service once ur inside was the worst.

Have been to the ER and I seem to move through there pretty quickly. As well as the neuro dept.

I had my son here a two months ago, and my prenatal care. I had really great doctors and nurses. They took good care of me and my son who came a month early.

Worst personnel I have ever encountered at a hospital!!! My relative was admitted on April 23rd, 2020 with Covid-19 As her representative, I needed to talk to her case workers, impossible! Then the nightmares began, with regards to her being discharged to a sub-acute facility for Rehab. The facilities chosen were all rated with only 1-2 stars. Then a nurse named Gema was trying to insert a new IV needle, and couldn't do it, my relative was begging her to stop and get someone else to try and Gema told her to shut up! This was witnessed by a LVN that was in the room, which advised to file a complaint. This hospital is HORRIBLE and very uncaring to patients and their family needs. Steer clear of this place!

I was a pt there about 5yrs ago since I burned my foot had a 3rd degree burn spent 8 days n the burn unit I had d best nurses m drs very patient n sensitive towards my situation always n top f controlling n pain they went far n beyond my expectations would recommend to go to this hospital if your ever n need I would go back f I ever need to b seen again...

My mom, Jessie Perez, was brought into the ER on Thursday, March 5, 2018 complaining of pain. It was determined she was dehydrated and somewhat disoriented. She had previously been on hospice from Jan. 22, 2017 to this Jan. Hospice felt there was improvement in her diagnosis of CHF and placed her home healthcare. Her health is now declining again. I spoke to Dustin, Case Manager, and asked if it was possible to reinstate her to hospice. He went over all the possibilities and said he would need to look into it and speak to a social worker. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even went as far as bringing me a cup of coffee. The ER staff was excellent and very attentive. When the social worker came in I immediately felt a negative attitude. She was harsh and rather rude. Sorry to say Cordess made our visit very unpleasant. Even Dustin was surprised at her disposition. Other than her, ARMC gave us excellent care.

This is a horrible hospital. I went into the er and I gave the staff my name. It was so many people there that I told them never mind I did not want to be seen. I asked the nurse will I be charged and she said yes. I said no one has saw me I just gave my name and she said I will still be charged. I swear this is the biggest scam in the world. That s why people now don t want to see the doctor.

I been to labor and delivery a couple times and I haven t had a good experience. They seem to be rude and careless. Every time I went it s like they are annoyed.. like come on i go scared worried that my baby s okay and they make it harder for me with the way the act. So not only did I have to worry about why I go in there for but also the negative engery. And I m suppose to trust them ? I m so scared to delivery here next month. Everybody is telling me to not delivery here and After reading more reviews it s confirms my decision.

DO NOT GO HERE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ER WITH DOCTORS WITH SURGURY. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

A cesarean delivery the doctors were very nice at the time of putting the anesthesia I was afraid the facilities very clean all good service

Medical URGENT referral sent to them over and over again and they can't. Put into the department shuffle. The administration sucks.

Chelsea Gardener is the best! Most everyone else was extremely disappointing, disrespectful, and dishonest. They kept me in wailing pain for almost my entire stay. It was exhausting and traumatic.

I always hear and read nothing but the worst about this hospital but all my experiences have had a great outcome. I've delivered here and have brought my son in sick and never have I had an "unprofessional" service. Yes the first time I brought my son in with a temperature of 103 and I will admit that the wait time was dreadful but there was more ppl coming in with more serious things so it was understandable, the second time (which would be today) I brought my son in for a fever of 104 and respiratory problems, attended in less then 30 mins, was taken care of quickly, yes again I had a wait time for a room to be admitted in (which is normal ppl) and ever since we got a room he's been checked up on every hour, both me and him, they ask how he's doing, take his temperature, if we need anything, very informative on why and what they are doing to him. Very watchful and helpful I appreciate the service given to him here.

I felt a lack of personal attention for the most part. I was left on an uncomfortable gurney in the ER for 5 hours waiting to be admitted. The noise level was ridiculous, as if they were having a frat party. Things were better once I was moved to 4th floor. Nurses were nice but not overly attentive. So many leads and wires I couldn't move. I was very happy to go home. The doctors were very thorough.

You can say what you want about this hospital but they saved my life twice and I am greatful..

I've been going there for a year now for shoulder pain and stomach issues. To this day, they have done nothing except refer me to department after department. They don't send the medical records to the places they schedule me for and then the place of referral says they cannot admit me without the medical records. Then I had to get the medical records myself but had to wait ten days before they were available. So the place of referral cancelled my appointment and put me on another month and a half long waiting list for another appointment. I have visited the doctor many times and every time the doctor refers me to someone who never calls me back. The doctors repeatedly tell me they will call me back for a follow up but they never do. They give you no way to contact your doctor.

I went to check my work Injury and they took care of me on pain they kept asking if I was in pain and kept giving me pain pill I even couldn't sleep lol felt a little hipper. I reconnected to everyone.

This hospital doesn't like to take care of their patients and does accept Molina health insurance at all and not even in the er and they also don't know how to write prescription.

Took my Dad to get bloodwork yesterday and could not find any parking. After circling the lot for 30 minutes we left without getting the bloodwork done.The staff is rude and short tempered. I need to make an appointment to get my flu shot and the receptionist hung up on me after waiting on hold forever. I'm a person who needs medical help I don't appreciate being hung up on because they hate their job!

My daughters dad was admitted here and she couldn't go up to the rooms to visit him so we got him a ballon set to be sent up to his room and they were fast at delivering it and very friendly!

Doctors here are all for taking care of their patients. Thank you for your care.

I have never been to a hospital so unprofessional like this one, I was admitted there for pains and I was worried it had to do with my pregnancy. We went and they said i had a UTI. They gave me medications and went home, later on that day I went to a different hospital where I had a miscarriage and found out they had lied to me about having a UTI. Worst place ever!!!!!

You would rather get shot in Colton and drive to County USC.....there is an 8-12 hour wait to see the doctor. The staff is overworked and underpaid.

Had a very serious accident and if it wasn't for them i wouldn't be alive today. Thank you to all surgeons and nurses who took care of me. Much love

This Medical Center is completely unexceptable. If you are a not a patient from there you will be treat bad. I Do not recommend this Hospital for anyone. For the people looking at my review take it seriously. If i could put no stars i would. Im just caring for people that come to this hospital.

One complaint.there was no signal in the ER waiting room, where they have u wait for hours.but soon as I went to one of the rooms with the staff members I get full bars.

They call a day before to cancel my colonoscopy the reason is I didn't take the covid text, which they never mentioned in the paperwork they gave me:( Colonoscopy required that I have not eat any food for 3 days, drinking a gallon of prep liquid all night before:(
Off course I couldn't redo that again if I accepted the their cancelation, I requested to be in the system again and Covid test, that made me the last one in the lest:( it's afternoon now and I'm sick and tired waiting for 4 hours on a chair eating and drinking nothing and don't know for how long I will stay more. ..:(

Amazing Healthcare, sadly I feel personally they could staff the hospital better so it's cuts down on wait time.

In the emergency room the staff does not have the human warmth or the attentive treatment with the passengers, I think it is not very tactful to deal especially with children, they leave a lot of time in waiting and do not inform about the processes. I ask God never again to have to return for medical attention.

I truly despise the medical staff at this hopital. My father went in with symptoms of a stroke after having multiple TIAs in the preceding weeks. He could have been given anti-clotting meds that would have almost certainly stopped the stroke and saved his life but, instead, they turned to my terrified stepmother and only focused on the dangers of the medication. My father's condition worsened until he went into a coma about 12 hours after coming into the ER and he died a week later. I had to tell the medical staff to never allow one of the doctors near my father as he seemed to be an "Angel of Death" type busy telling me my father was not dying "with dignity" literally hours after I'd been on the Internet chatting with survivors of the very same type of stroke (Brain Stem). I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Had my baby here last year, ive also been to most departments ( radiology, womens clinic, pediatrics emergency etc.) and ive always had great caring service. I recently had surgery and everyone from the nurses to anesthesiologist were kind and comforting. On the downside, parking is not the best!

Even though they are slow they are kind and helpful. I practically "live there ".

The intake nurse was very helpfully she had answers and suggestions of what was best for me to do to not squire a unnessary. Bill from the wrong hospital. Also she rewraped my splint on my arm

Great hospital! Had my daughter there 3 months ago via C-section due to her going breech. Thanks to Dr. Arse, Dr. Cardon and the nursing staff i had a beautiful healthy baby girl. Had a few nurses when i was recovering that i wish had a better attitude but oh well. I will most definitely be going back when im ready for another baby.

What can I say yes sometimes the ER is packed but two years ago I was shot point blank in the head and today I'm alive the help of everyone surgeon staff nurses emt they keep me alive and the most important my 8 year old daughter who called 911 thanks to all of them

This is the worst hospital I have ever been to and the dirtiest hospital I have ever been to the Seats in the lobby have stains all over them that have not been cleaned looks like liquid or throw up on some seats it's over crouded the nurses don't even care about the people in the lobby you can be waiting in line to get registered in until they decide to look up and ask if your checking in or your waiting for someone it's terrible and the wait just to be seen is just not reasonable other hospitals you wait maybe an hour or two at this one I've been here for 3 hours now waiting for my husband to be called and seen too then up to an hour and a half just to do vitals and still waiting to get a room they need to make drastic changes here. Really unacceptable.

I got in a car accident and I wanted to make an appointment for them to see me the next day or sometime close to that as it wasn t serious enough for the ER however they said they wouldn t schedule me until 3 weeks later and only gave me one time option otherwise i d have to wait longer. Called Loma Linda Hospital and they got me an appointment the next day.

I was hit by a car a pedestrian, this hospital saved my life. I was brought in by helicopter, granted this was over ten years ago my name was jackson then i think they deserve to know i am very thankful.

I would like to thank the ladys in the Burn Unit. They were amazing to my neice who had burn her hands. They were all very nice and one of the RN was so nice to my neice and my sister. Thank you for all your help ladys you guys are true Heros.

I had my baby here a little over 2 weeks ago. The nurses were great especially Joy and Yasmin. Joy was my night nurse and she is OUTSTANDING.

WORST WORST EVER!!! The past experiencesIN THE EARLY 2000 have been great, with compassion, discretion and concern for the patient and thier illness and privacy..
Back in the day a patient was triaged then sent back to a room for treatments and the staff was caring and understanding. Now patients are called back and sat in a chair plastic chair for HOURS in pain vomiting, bleeding all in front of one another. No room no lying down even if your weak. To top it off due to my equilibrium being off the let me go walking out ALONE. Almost fell but made it safe to my family. There is no more privacy and care in thier work with people. They were rude, snarky and felt like they had better things to do. Told them i needed to lie down and they refused, said i was being dramatic. I hope no one else has to experience this, but they will if they go to Arrowhead hospital. Hope they rethink this methology, cause its cruel and intensive behavior..

They are a lot of amazing hospitals in Orange county and Los Angeles country. We recommend driving for a better experience

Well other than the long, long, long wait. Nice, friendly, courteous staff.

No bueno. This place is just a fancy building with mostly just students. Ive been here twice & twice I got students who didnt know what they were even talking about and on top of that even when I asked for a real doctor he was horrible. I will never return there again and I would never trust taking my family there

I had a very bad experience. They violated me, in the liver and they passed by bringing a duct from my neighbor, the liquid watered in my stomach. God is good I could go out but I recommend you be careful

I dislike st. Bernardines and community hospital very much so and I've always been one to defend armc but the past few times ive been there observing the nurses are too busy debating what color their hair should be dyed next the registration clerks are laughing amongst each other and the doctors are talking about patients walking up and down these halls don't they know about hipaa estimates wait time 6 hours on a week night.
Im very disappointed but what can i expect

Emergency room is a joke waiting for 12 hours and not even got a room and they just gave me one time medication they said they couldn t help me with my pain and didn t let me eat nothing just send me home and tell me to go to my regular doctor when my doctor had send me here for high fever and pain done to my gallbladder this is a joke never coming back to this hospital .dont wasted your time here people s don t recommend this hospital at all.

Corrupted behavioral health center, cops with ties to hospital will put people away forever if possible, becareful of psychiatrist.

My granddaughter had a C-Section, fior three days she asked for a breast pump to no avail, her breast continued to get engorged very painfully, she was denied the basic empathy care and human kindness that any hospital staff should provide to any human being, we are formally complaining to the State's nursing association and to the state nursing licensing for their blatant disregard for humanity

Least knowledgeable staff I have ever see. Especially in the ER. In addition after my wife got admitted the team of doctors were so rude we called a patient advocate. After the docs found out they came in and threatened her. So we fired them but they continued to do things on her file, a clear breach. Was just told this was one of the most highly rated hospitals in southern California. If that's true I'd hate to see the worst. Cafeteria chef is the best part the hole place. Makes good food. Everyone else is waisting oxygen.contacted the advocate like the generic response I got asked me to. She is there not to help you but to assist the doctor with getting what he wants. We spoke to here more than once and she twists what we say and does not put the patent first. So when the doctor has lied she sides with him no matter what.

Ever since they added the number 1 and 2 lines it's horrible.. staff wont attend when you are clearly standing in line... don't bother with the line you have to go ask the staff multiple times so they even attend you... save your time go to a different hospital.
Update once they actually attended me I did not have to wait they attended me as needed.

Horrible service. Waited 45 minutes with an appointment, nurses in the front checking temperatures were very rude. The old lady outside (1:50 p.m.) was very rude to me, yes I am calling her out for it. I don't know her name but I've never been so mad in my life. Me n my daughter wanted to go inside but that old lady wouldn't let us, because my daughter was 13, but they let 5-12 year olds in. I was told from my nurse that my daughter was able to come in, but I was refused at security, and I missed my appointment because of their miscommunication. Honestly hated it there but I am being forced to go there. All I wanted was an ultra sound but turns out I'm not gonna get an ultra sound anymore. Forget this hospital

My mom just gave birth here she isn't able to breastfeed and they don't want to give her any formula

They don't do what they say weekend staff has allot to be desired. The doctors that operated on me don't have bed side manners don't like to answer your questions.

The nurses in ICU were outstanding. The doctors were a bit arrogant ... not much bedside manner. Follow up care was not as thorough as I thought it would be for a traumatic head injury ... Just a in room conversation without further CT scans, etc. The Record's Department wasn't much help getting records to our personal physician. Said it was mailed on June 19th but it has not yet been received. On that note, I sent a fax to the neurology department for assistance with required documents to be signed - never received a response and when I call the department I could not leave a message. Seriously lacking patient service. The bottom line is that we cannot get the docs signed that will assist my husband with Disability Insurance while he is out of work for three months because we cannot get the necessary documents into the right hands and no one is reaching out to us to assist. Wow.

The behavioral health do not no how to evaluate people. I realize that you can't admit someone that is not saying they are suicidal or a danger to others but they need to look overall at the individual. When people are hearing voices or are acting somewhat bizarre you would think they would be able to see that. A individual that is not in the right state of mind state of mind should be observed for at least 24 hours. When you tell them to show up to a appointment in two days that is not all there do you think they will show up I dont think so. So if they don't have someone to help them who knows what they will end up doing. Very sad mental health services some of the people work there really don't care and are very rude.

Horrible horrible place. My husband has a kidney disease and he was in so much and the staff would not give him a shot for the pain. They took him to back bur they had no beds so my husband was in a wheelchair and a stupid guard wanted to take his wheelchair away when my husband had to give a urine sample. Who does that? My husband left in pain.

This hospital should be closed for.how.they treat patients.

Please add something with my brother he is there because of a diabetic foot problem and the infection is running day by day please help him. I can't go see him because I live in Mexico please help him.
