I've been using Argus for almost 3 years, and I'm satisfied with their services. It's good that they didn't change their rate like other companies. I can still reach out to my account manager if I have any issues. I'm planning to open a secone bussines, definitely will stay with them.

However, we stopped working with them and even so, they continued to take great sum of money from our bank account even though we weren't working with them anymore. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They even refused to return the money stolen. They also refused to answer the phone or hardly help us. There should be a no star here.

Don t get yourself in trouble! The Argus is totally a scam! They will continuous charge you over $$$ even if you call several months ago to close your account! The sales will say they are cheaper than others, which is just the opposite! They have so many hidden fees. I have the worst experience with them! I will never recommend Argus to anyone unless to the people I hate!

I used their service from last May, the customer services is great, and they did lowered my merchant services processing fees. I have changed a lot companies in past few years, but this one is truly trustful. The agent was very patient to explain all details in my statement, and always pick up the call when I needed them. I have referred my cousin to this agent as well, the agent give them also fair good rate and excellent services. I would like to keep working with this agent in the future.

This company's management is all over the place. Overworking staff produces not profit, but burnout. Many began to resign because of how miserable the work environment was, and amazingly, they fired almost everyone! What a complete joke. The company is basically a huge scam. We were promised to be able to terminate our merchant account if there were any dissatisfaction. We call to terminate our account a week after due to very poor customer service. The sale representives kept making up excuses as why we couldn t cancel the account and meanwhile still taking monthly terminal fees even after we sent their machine back. After couple months the sale representive SHAN WANG Promised me personally she would refund all the future monthly fees and terminate our account after 3 months (she said it was the company s rule that the merchant calls 3 months prior to cancellation, all of this is recorded on my phone btw). Since the representatives at this company constantly making false promises I asked her to sent me a email that includes what she promised, which she did. Not surprisingly they are still taking monthly fees from the bank and now her phone number is completely not in service. We try to reach her through the main company s phone but the representative told me she s still working there but they are unable to transfer me due to reasons. With this review I hope people will think twice before they do business with this fradualent company who scams large amount of people, mainly Chinese people who couldn t speak English well. I see posts of people who had the same problems with them, don t buy into their promises they will just keep your account open and take as much as they can.

This company is really terrible. The salesman I worked with at that time and I promised that I could change the company at any time in the future without any liquidated damages. This is a very bad company. Since the first day I signed their contract, but they didn't service me for 1 second. They then started charging me, but I didn't know they were charging me at first. 4 days later I called them to cancel my account. The seller said, "I will help you cancel your account." Then I month later I checked my account and they charged me again. So, I called the seller. The seller said, "I already told them to cancel your account." I then called their customer service and they asked me if I used their credit card machine. I told them I didn't use their machine. They entered my phone number to find my account. They transferred my phone to a technical department. The technical told me they would cancel my account and give my money back in 1 month. 1 month later I checked my account and found they charged me again. So I called the technical department again. They said the same thing they said before. 1 month later they continued to charge me. I called them again and this time they hanged up my phone. They overall charged me $300 then stopped and didn't give me a refund. If i was able to give 0 stars that is what I would give. Chinese trick chinese!!!!!!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They will have you sign a contract and alter it afterwards. Then they charge you exorbitant fees if you try to cancel within the time they say you can cancel without fees. Then they request you send back the terminal they provided only to delay acknowledging receipt of the terminal and continue debiting your bank account. Now I have a negative report on my credit for $170 left unpaid which was fraud to begin with. This is NOT a reputable company. They also have their base overseas so good luck trying to sue to claim damages.

This credit card processing company is totally scam. When their sales rep came to my store, that guy told me that their company provide lowest rate and no contract, no PCI fees no annual fee. When I saw the statement, I found they over charged me a a lot, besides the PCI fee annuel fee etc. I even found that they charged me on my bank account every single day. So that I call their customer services, and they told me I have to call the sale rep, because that is what the sale rep promise me. I try to contact the sale rep, he never pick up my call. Then I called the customer services again and stated that I wanted to close my account. They told me I have to pay $ 495 for early termination fee, because i have 3 yrs contract with them. I am so sick of this company and want to get rid of it. Really bad experience

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! THEY ARE RUNNING A FRAUDULENT BUSINESS AND FORGED MY SIGNATURE!
I had use this company for 2.5 years, and changed recently. During the period of time of which I used their services, the company violated the contract; charging more than what was stated, and I had to constantly call them. If you look at your statement, you'll realize that they charge statement fees, PCI fees, merchant club fees, and two semi-annual fee ($129.00 each time) a year. I found it extremely difficult to switch to a different company because they will keep charging your account, EVEN AFTER YOU'VE ATTEMPTED TO CANCEL MULTIPLE TIMES AND DID NOT USE THEIR SERVICES AT ALL. They charged $923 to my account, a $750 cancellation fee, $129 SIF-2 administrative and some other fees. Additionally, THEY SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR ME; FORGING MY SIGNATURE AND PRETENDING AS IF I HAD SIGNED THE CONTRACT. This company played phone games, has hidden fees, and most importantly FORGES YOUR SIGNATURE. This business is running as a scam. DON'T USE IT!!

If I could give less than 1, I would! Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Trying to get an English speaking person is very hard. You press one for English and get Chinese speaking people. if you can understand them, they will not help with anything. When I called one day( after being their customer for 3 years) I had asked when the contract expired. The salesman had supposedly faxed in the contract and the expiration date is cut off. They sent me this copy. I called back to ask about it being cut off and they told me it was either a 3 or 4 year contract. When I called my salesman Joe Mancuso, he told me to assume it had expired and to send back the machine. Now, keep in mind, if you send back the machine and the contract has not expired, there will be a very large cancellation fee. This is why I was checking with them first. When I called back again and asked the Chinese speaking person for a copy, she said this is not my responsibility to look up your contract !!! That is what she actually said! Of course, they send two pickup slips for the machine and no copy of the contract. Last time I checked, customers are pretty important to have, respect and help when necessary. ARGUS, you have it all wrong. I would not recommend this company to my enemy. As it stands, no one at Argus can tell me when my contract expires. I have been dealing with this for months. They take their fees out every month, but can t tell me this. As their employee said, it is not her job to help me. Wow! Just wow! Take my advice do not use this company. Any company that literally tells you it is not their responsibility to help you, is not a wise choice! I unfortunately learned the hard way.

This is a ridiculous company! I did the business with sales agent Miss . Wang Shan. This company transferred my account to Card Connect( the other company) without my consent and any notice. I figured this out not until i want to cancel my account with Argus. The manager of this agent Miss YE blocked me so i can't contact with anyone to deal with this situation. One of those two companies even charged me $750 for no reason. Never do the business with Argus! UNBELIEVABLE!

A sales rep came to me saying Argus can offer me a lower processing rate. I signed up with them. They charged me for the first month before I started processing. It took me three months to get that refund back. And the rate was not low at all. I actually had a rate that's higher rate than my ex-provider. I tried calling the sales rep, but she did not pick up my call ever. Since I did not get the rate I was promised, I wanted to cancel the service with them. I called to the customer service and they made me call to ext 312 first and then ext 317. None of them helped me because they said they have to contact the sales person to approve on my account cancellation for no early termination fee. I asked how come I have an early termination fee, they said I have a three year contract with them. I even signed off any contract with them, and the sales rep said there's no contract and I could terminate my service at any time. I asked them to send a copy of "my contract" to me but they refused to do so. They kept telling me that only the sales person has the right to close my account and I should find the sales person. I told them I cannot find the sales person. They just told me then they had to charge me for $750 early termination fee. Please do not use this company. They are not upfront about their conditions and they will rip you off.
