Absolutely amazing venue. The views, the acoustics, the seating, the parking... Everything is top notch. We went to a sold out concert and even getting in and out of the parking lot was a pleasant experience. Loved it.

Our visit to Red Rocks for the MercyMe concert on July 8th was a bucket list item and it did not disappoint! It is a stunning setting, especially when praising God with 10,000 other people! We drove in from a cabin in Evergreen, about 30 minutes away, grabbed food on the way to eat in the car once we were parked, and caught the free shuttle up the hill to the line waiting for security checks. It rained briefly, but we knew to be ready with our panchos and it passed quickly. The concert was a blast and our seats were great on row 24. Loved every minute!

Most beautiful, awesome place! Be sure to go while still daylight to take pictures. Great music right in the middle of nature. Trading Post closes at 7, so be sure to bring a bottle of water until you make it to the top entrance where they sell. Takes a good hour to walk up and the air is super thin. Use Uber or Lyft in lieu of driving (they get you in and out quicker).

My wife and I came here for DJ Snake's concert and we had a blast! The only problem was the walk from the parking lot to the theater, but hey, sometimes you need a little exercise. The beautiful view from the top and the sound was amazing! It didn't matter where we were, the sound was always great. We decided to settle a little lower than the middle but that was only because we tried so many spots and they were all great.

A great fun place to come and walk around. It is also a nice place to get a goo work out. Parking is hard to find on the week end. The bathrooms are clean but the people that come are not clean. Bring your hand sanitizer. Water is a must.

It was great to finally visit this place and see why it's so popular. The red rock formations are a thing of beauty and makes any trip truly worth it. The geologically carved area that would become the amphitheater sits at a higher elevation so you get breathtaking views of the landscape, especially on a clear day. Downtown Denver's skyline is also visible in the distance, but you need binoculars or an advanced zoom camera to get a closer look. We'll definitely see a concert on our next visit.

We were here for a total of three hours. We started at the Red Rocks Trading Post at the base. Inside that building, we checked the gift shop and the Music Hall of Fame gallery, which features John Denver and many folk and jazz music greats. There are no admission fees there. We then walked uphill to the amphitheater, which took half an hour, with lots of picture taking stops along the way. We visited in the winter so the icy sections of the walk path also slowed us down. We took the same way going down, although there are other paths. If you don't prefer the hike, you can drive up to the top and park near the amphitheater.

An incredible view and experience. I visited when no shows where going and and they don't charge you and you can just meander where you please.

A fantastic view and the staff where pretty friendly too.

Great place for a concert, but is very commercial now in comparison to the 80's and 90's. The venue exploits the natural beauty and legendary history by overcharging ($10.00 beers). Yet there are no workers to help parking lots clear out after the show. The concert we went to ended at 11pm (curfew) and we didn't get out of the parking lot until 1am. The parking was not so bad in the past, but since the venue oversells tickets it makes sense. The sound from the higher rows is not as good anymore due to the noise ordinance limiting decibel levels. If you are dark skinned be ready for 2nd class treatment by some white fans who don't want you there. I witnessed this at Leon Bridges August 2018 and at Nathaniel Rateliff 2017. I remember Tom Petty, Santana, and Page and Plant concerts when the audience were together as one with joy for one another.
Overrated!

Fantastic, beautiful setting for a concert. Also a great place to work on open days. Running the stairs will make your legs hurt for days. There is a cool museum with lots of concert memorabilia, concessions, bathrooms, and air conditioning for those really hot days.

Beautiful space for an outdoor concert. Unfortunately there was an unseasonable snow storm during the show, but not much you can do about that. Only concern is the cost, GA tickets are reasonable, but if you want to get close, be prepared to spend some cash. Worth it for the experience though!

Trail was pretty cool. Short walk, with cool rocks. Unfortunately you can't go on the rocks as they're fenced off. Was fun to see, but likely wouldn't go again unless I needed to walk a dog.

Beautiful with many trails that are well maintained. Note that the stairs can be closed to the public pretty early in the day due to band set up. Great place to take in a movie or concert!

Went for a day trip and this place came highly recommended. The atmosphere was great. Got to watch the crew do the setup for Halloween at the Rocks GooGoo Dolls, Machine Gun Kelly concert that was taking place that night. This would be a fantastic place to see a concert. Has a great little museum that features a list of artists that have played their by year. Cute gift shop and coffee place. Restaurant with outdoor seating with views of Red Rocks and mountains.

This park is beautiful. There is no place I would rather see a show! The sun often sets just as the main act is coming on which is magical. if you sit about halfway up, you can even see Denver in the distance. Worth the effort to climb the steps. The museum is also great.

Truly an amazing place to be! Words can't properly describe, so go see for yourself! During the day, you can hike all around the park and venue for free as long as an event isn't happening. Truly a must see destination for all who come to Colorado

So glad we had time to stop and admire the theater within the rocks. Sadly, didn't get to witness any concerts but saw how it was filled with tourists and every day citizens working out! Very cool spot to visit.
