Did Film on the Rocks and loved it! Two bands and one stand up comedy act started the evening, before dusk, then the movie itself started when it was dark enough to see. Loved every minute of it!

This place rocks! Must see in Colorado, scenic view, very cool!
An exceptionally beautiful park. No where else like it!
This. Place. Is. Amazing. No two ways about it. I go to a lot of shows (over 30 last year), and Red Rocks has blown away all other venues. The staff was super friendly and on point-- sitting in the first three rows gets you a wristband and they boot anyone who tries to sneak down there late in a matter of seconds. Beer selection is excellent, and reasonably priced by comparison to most venues. Sound is phenomenal. The stage, if you're in the first few rows, is pretty much level with one's seat, so you're looking straight at the performers. Bathrooms were clean, well stocked, and not crowded despite sold out shows. Even the portajohns in the parking lot for us wait-in-line-all-day types were reasonably clean and always had toilet paper. Absolutely see a show here. I'm not even sure it would matter what show, although seeing two nights of my favorite band there probably didn't hurt my high opinion.
Awesome venue! One of the best in the country to set a show hands down. Just make sure you dress for the weather.
Best venue around! Saw comedy this last time, but have seen many musicians here and the sound is perfect!
It's an amazing place to visit ND walking around. So better have a good . Surounded by nature and totally safe. There are also some art pieces nearby for souvenirs
Best concert venue I have ever been to! Can't wait to go back again.
Saw Tenacious D here a while back. First time at Red Rocks and I must say its an experience everyone needs to experience. The ambiance and atmosphere is amazing. Will definitely be back!
Amazing. Get there super eat am before crowds and tour buses. Lots of selfies opps for you and everyone else. Crowds...
Love this venue! We ve travelled from Atlanta twice to see shows, absolutely awesome experience both times. This is a bucket list venue, show up early for the show and just sit back stunned by the beauty of the area. There are A LOT of stairs, wear comfy shoes. The facilities are up to date and clean. Staff were friendly. We stopped by the next more for some better views, lots of locals were exercising.
Magnificent sights-- great acoustics for shows. View of dt denver in the background
Just passed through to check it out on our way out of Denver. Pretty cool, would love to catch a show here sometime.
Incredible scenery, words cannot describe the beauty of this place, concert sounded great, food and service at ship rock grill was outstanding, Matt our waiter outstanding job, checked with us periodically and genuinely seemed interested in our satisfaction.
Will definitely go back looking forward to next time I can go.
Probably the best natural Amphitheater in the country
Just remember it's an outdoor area so dress appropriately
Pictures do not do this place justice. Come here set your eyes on it for yourself! Bust out them boots hike a trail and breathe in that fresh mountain air
This place is magical. Been here for many concerts and the sound is fantastic. The views are spectacular as well. Highly recommend a visit here and certainly to catch a concert if you can.
Best outdoor venue to see live music. Sound could be louder though.
This was my first show at Red Rocks - Lake Street Dive headlined; Josh Ritter opened. It's a magical place to see a show. Perhaps not the most crowded show, but getting in and out was easier than I anticipated and the facilities are fantastic.
Being part of the Red Rocks park is as gorgeous as you can imagine. Sometimes parking can be difficult depending upon the seasons. If you plant to visit please call first and inquire about what is taking place there.
Reccomend a visit if you just want to see something beautiful or if there is a concert - amazing and breathtaking views.
Awesome place, always full of people. The scenery is beautiful, I haven't been on a concert there, bit I guess it will be epic under the stars. Good place for a day trip.
It's good but the sound ordinance and the bathrooms being a trek are my only concerns!
I have not had the pleasure of getting to see a concert at this venue, but I did get to explore it and see the beautiful area!
You get breathtaking views and once you step into the seating area, you can only imagine how awesome it would be to see one of your favorite artists belting out their music would be!
Lots of parking!
It is a steep hike up, but the view is so worth it. Great acoustics and organized set up! This is an incredible place to see live music!
This is a must for anyone who considers themselves a concert junkie. Make sure that you plan to give yourself plenty of time to get there as it is quite a trek. We sat around 18th row and I'd say that was a sweet spot. The sound was amazing and the lights were well done as well! I will have to come back to red rocks as soon as I can.
Can see life performance.Diferrent place to eat.Good food
Best place to be with the nature. Beautiful view of the Amphitheatre and quick museum tour nearby.
Awesome place! Definitely want to go back for a concert!
Breathtaking experience!!! Great place to workout!!!
I wish we had worn out work out clothes. The people working out were an inspiration. This place has to be an amazing place to see a concert. Just a beautiful slice of America.
Great venue! Awesome sound and seats. Would give 5 stars but the parking and hiking to the venue leaves a little to be desired. ADA shuttle should have a pickup in the south lots, too.
Parking is FREE! Unbelievable venue! Absolutely mind-blowing with its natural beauty, breathtaking views( both day and night) and unmatched acoustics...Red Rocks really should be listed as one of the Wonders of the World and is a must see, even if there isn't an event going on. It's owned and operated by Denver Parks & Rec if anyone's wondering.
We had no idea there is a concert every single night and you can't actually see the amphitheater so we we out there and then kinda felt like we wanted a trip. It was really disappointing. I just wish someone would have said the concerts were every night and unless you get a ticket you basically can't see the amphitheater
Breathtaking views and it is still open during Covid. I went without seeing a concert and it was still an amazing sight.
An absolutely breathtaking site , I only wish that I got to see a concert there it would have been amazing !
Great place for concerts, a good workout just to get great views of denver :)
Great to see especially if you love music and history.
We look forward to seeing the Tedeschi Trucks Band here every summer. Hands down the most spectacular venue on the planet next to Pompeii. Be prepared to walk a long distance and be prepared for many steps. I highly recommend.
Absolutely gorgeous! There is a pretty good climb up the steps to get to the amphitheater but once you manage that you'll find it was worth it!
One of the biggest amphitheatre I had visited. Should definitely try to attend a concert here, it beautiful and interesting to visit otherwise too.
Literally the best Amphitheatre in the entire world
Get there well before sunset since the mountains will start blocking the sunlight - easy drive and parking, quick walk on paved path. Didn't need much time here, 30 mins was enough to enjoy and take a few photos.
amazing place just to go even if there's nothing going on
Came here for a graduation. It's well maintained and beautiful.
Best place ever! Perfect during the day to get a good work out. Either running the stairs, hiking, or classes that they have there. Also probably one of the best venues ever for music concerts. Definitely a place you must go to if you are visiting colorado.
Winter on the Rocks. Took an uber home and they made it super convenient.
The most magical musical venue you will ever attend. Do yourself a favor and go at least once! Bucket list worthy venue!
ohhhh what a place. If you traveling around definitely worth to stop. I wish, I can be there for U2 concert
Such a cool place. I would love to see a performance here. I'm sure it sounds amazing.
One of the most beautiful natural formations in the States. Great place for concerts due to acoustics. Great place to work out due to elevation, stairs, and views! Can you run all the way to the top?
This was an epic journey for us. Red Rocks is considered the premier natural amphitheatre in the world. Justifiably so. Read and understand the rules of permitted/not permitted activities. Go and be amazed at the acoustics. Arrive early to get a great spot in the upper south lot for some tailgating. Meet new like minded folks. Be prepared for some uphill walking with amazing views. Glass containers are a big no no here, even in the parking lot.
The most amazing view in Colorado for me. Dress light and wear hiking shoes. I didn't drive all the way up. Parked at the bottom and hiked my way up. Hard to do but worth it when you get to the top.
As a native, this is a cherished place. Concerts, movies, events and just exploring/hiking in general are all favorites of the whole family. It is truly one of the wonders of Colorado.
Amazing views, moderate hikes, a clean visitor center and mini museum, and wonderful outdoor amphitheater. Saw mule deer and rabbits on a hike in December. They do close down early for events and showings though, so visit early.
Nice view, but was closed due to pendamic. It should be open since it's in the open air
Amazing. See a show there but also view it during the day so much to see
Amazing. Pictures on the internet do this place no justice. Absolutely breathtaking views, and a great exercise climbing all the trails. I m working on a dual residency here and in Austin this year, so I ll def be back
Red Rocks, if you don't know, now you know.
Head up to hike the trails, or challenge the venues
"There are two interior stairways on either side of the bleachers each with 138 steps from the stage to the top. Red Rocks features 69 rows of seats in the venue, which equates to running approximately three miles on an ascent or descent of the bleachers."
Hard to have a bad day up here, unless the weather turns
We always take visitors here. Great place to get some exercise. You can also get on the stage and test the acoustics. The museum is also well worth the visit and it is all free!!!!!!
Best concert experience ever! This place is truly one of a kind!
Great place to visit for touring or concert. Food is okay.
Awesome time great vibe parking was easy plenty of excitement and venues.
There is no wonder to as why this place is one of the top music venues in the world! Absolutely beautiful, always. Love that it's open to the public during the day and that they have other things going on besides just concerts/shows.
This is an amazing place to love music. It is naturally beautifull stage to perform. It gives a sense of how beautiful our nature can be. Many famous artist performed here.
Beautiful & amazing park! Highly recommend for your first time coming to Colorado!
What a beautiful place. I haven't been here for a show, but went on a day that had hardly any people there. It's a beautifully scenic area that I would love to see again given the opportunity. I recommend going as the sun is getting close to setting for the best photography.
I'm sure there are hundreds of amazing reviews on this venue. It's the best in the country, IMO
Amazing. No better venue in the entire world. Go. Don't hesitate. Just go.
Its wonderful to visit. I think attending a concert here would be phenomenal.
Beautiful space. Definitely make sure you come here for a show.
Weather was perfect today. Plenty of people working out on the steps, and in the arena.
Nice place to chill or workout. Restrooms were clean, museum is a short sideshow
Very very COOL place to experience!!! When I think of all the wonderful talented artists who have performed there, I'm in awe. Great acoustics for a concert. I cant wait for it to reopen so I can attend a live concert there!!!
I came here for Film On The Rocks. It was an amazing experience. You have to get there a little early since it's mostly general admission, but it's totally worth it. I can't wait to see more movies here.
