Incredible venue with marvelous natural accoustics...
Incredible venue with marvelous natural accoustics. A little tricky for disabled folks but staff very helpful and friendly!

Went to a concert here. The view of downtown Denver as the city lights up while the sun sets coupled with watching the performance is unlike any other venue that I can think of in the states. The ampitheater's natural surroundings rival any stadium laser show or pyro display.
Pick an act that you love and do your best to see them at Red Rocks. This will be the definitive vision that pops in your mind next time you hear them on the radio.
The best! Definitely a bucket list venue. We we're lucky enough to see the lightning in the distance. Incredible!
Bring toilet paper because the restrooms run out. Bring food because the food here is disgusting and overpriced. Girls often have to use the guys' restroom because the line is too long and slow for theirs.
The sound is excellent and the staff are way nicer here than most venues.
It's messed up that they get mad if you don't wear a shirt if you go to the visitors center restroom. They say it's because food is served there but there's no law that supports that and the whole venue serves food everywhere anyway.
Amazing acoustics and views. This place is great for seeing performances or just hanging out or exercising during the day. Definitely see it if you're in Denver
Top notch sound for the Umphreys McGee concerts we went to. I needed to spend more time in the visitors center.
Red Rocks is a beautiful place to see a concert. The drive in and out after the concert was over was super easy and smooth. They had a great selection of food, beer and water, but be ready to pay some bucks for everything. The biggest downfall of Red Rocks is that with recreational marijuana being legal you will have to deal with lots of people smoking it. Red Rocks has a no smoking pot policy anywhere within the ampitheatre, but did not enforce it at all so that was a major negative.
It was fine until the end of the trip when we found three unused blunts in our rental car
Beautiful views all around, and comes with great exercise traversing the steps. I'd love to see a concert here.
I love it there always a view never to forget about
Legendary place to take in a concert. Great sound and views of stage and down to Denver skyline.
Walk the stairs or hike a trail for a great workout.
Visit the Trading Post and tour the rock museum to learn about the history of the bands that played Red Rocks!
Graduated highschool here, met my soon to be wife here at a concert. This place is simply magical with immaculate views and vibes.
It's a sight to behold! There's not enought words to describe the beauty up there.
I've been in Colorado for 20 years and never been to a concert at Red Rocks. Breathtaking surroundings (a brilliant yellow sunset on Sunday), great parking on the west side, and plenty of good food options made it a great day out. Thanks Lincoln for comping us tickets to Pink Martini--it was fun to see you at work!
Seriously? No review really need. Best thing to know is if there is no event going on you can visit for free. If you haven't been, go.
Gorgeously surreal! Shocking amount of stairs, lol! We were spoiled by being dropped off at the top entrance to the ampitheatre. But still happy to have experienced it. Sounds & scenery were amazing. Be prepared that the Lyft pick-up lot is down a billion stairs & all the way across a sloping gravel parking lot that people are actively exiting (be careful!). Wait til you get to or near the lot to order your Lyft b/c they are in a queue. They drive up & call your name out. If you're not there yet or don't hear it, the driver has to keep moving & get back in line to come around again. But we got out of there pretty quick. Our Lyft was approx. $25 each way from downtown Denver.
Loved this place. It was a gorgeous day at the red rocks
Colorado Symphony + One Republic was a great first concert. The acoustics are outstanding and the show was awesome!
Great place to visit when in the Denver area, not only for a concert but also to take in the sights during the day including all of the people exercising in the amphitheatre.
Sick concerts - it's a real, natural amphitheater! We saw Tyler the Creator and it was an incredible first experience at Red Rocks. Will definitely go again for other shows.
The setting is breathtaking and the acoustics are great! This is one of the best concert venues I've ever been to.
I have visited Red Rocks Park several times and each visit is a new amazing experience!
Amazing! Make sure to bring your hiking shoes, plenty of water and hit the trails you won't regret it!
Saw Greensky Bluegrass there in Sept.
2 night of super fun, we had an amazing time. As an East coaster I can say Colorado has some great views-- and that Red Rocks rules up near the top of the list!
Super duper friendly staff--not like some other places ya find where festive concertgoers convene.
Excellent place to bring visiting family ( if it's in the winter/early spring just be careful of ice )~ Red Rocks is a pretty famous venue for all kinds of neat events so it's good to keep an eye/ear out for what's coming up! My favorite event is Film on the Rocks~ Also a popular spot for folks to exercise, especially on the seats/steps.
Literally the coolest venue I have ever seen... and we didn't even see a concert there. We just went and walked the grounds and hiked a trail. It was truly breathtaking. We fully intend on making it back to Denver for a concert in this Legendary Hall.
Been here multiple times and I love it. Still haven't seen a concert here, though! Still worth a trip if you're in town!
Best place in the world to see a concert. The view alone is worth the trip up there
You know this is Mother Earth's gift to humanity. Probably the happiest place on earth, beats listening to all the crying kids at Disney land that's for sure.
Red rocks is an amazing venue! We loved the amphitheatre, the scenery, and the show! It has a great view overlooking denver also! If you haven't been to red rocks yet, I 100% recommend it!
Best large Venue I have ever been too. Deep history of iconic performances gives you shivers when you start up the steps.
They take your water bottle caps when you purchase so consider bringing an extra cap from home to be able to store water and refill if you aren't bringing a camel back.
Getting home at the end of a show can be less than fun in the traffic down the hill, so think about using a party bus or Bus2show.
If you haven't been to a concert at Red Rocks, buy tickets for something!! Just go! The experience is bucket list-worthy. Heads up: you WILL likely get a contact high from someone inevitably smoking pot nearby. You have been warned...
Red Rocks is always worth it. Plus they still make their tickets affordable if you buy from box office.
Absolutely MUST be on your bucket list to see a concert here and explore the park. Amazing views, even from inside the theatre, awesome acoustics, and a breathtaking hike. (quite literally, at almost 2 km (6,400 feet) above sea level)
Always LOVE going to Red Rocks! Got to tour all the tunnels & dressing rooms under the stage at the last concert I went to there. The best place ever to see a concert & Film on the Rocks is amazing but I haven't been there for that in a while. Gift shop & museum there is fun to look around in! Seeing the wildlife is awesome. Saw a rattlesnake, a deer & a raccoon last time too!
The Red Rocks Amphitheatre is one of a kind. We went to see MercyMe who were there for the first time. They were as excited as we were to be at Red Rocks. The concert was wonderful. The theatre filled with all ages to join singing, dancing and worship. The weather remained perfect and the view of the Metro area behind the stage great. We even saw a rainbow. I hope to return soon.
Beautiful place with views overlooking Denver. We visited in January so it was quite cold with some snow in areas.
Still one iconic place to see any live performance.
very beautiful., the air is clean, I advise everyone to go., there will be beautiful photos for your wedding., people working there will be very nice and kind everyone will tell and tell
This is the most incredible venue in the world. There is nothing like it. It's pure magic so whatever snow you want to see,you will be blown away. Parking is easy and free, there are multiple lots, entrances and exits. Also, no matter where you stand you'll have a great seat. If you aren't coming for a show you can come during the day to work out on the rocks, or hike. Never a dull moment here
I have visited Red Rocks In Denver, Vegas, and Los Angeles. This one is easily my favorite.
Very beautiful. I saw a concert there, but wasn't expecting to hike up 20 flights of stairs! Not including the trail. Worth the walk but the bottled water is $5 when you reach the top.
Absolutely amazing views and history! We wandered around the ampitheater and the trading Post and hiked the trading Post trail.
Beeauuuutiful !!! Variety of hiking trails. Only one thing lack of is bathrooms... Not enough of them.
While there aren t any concerts for a while, this amphitheater is just amazing on it s own. Great to come & see the red rocks
The most peaceful venue I've ever been to. The sound is projected great for being outside. The staff is pretty much careless in terms of the greenery. Definitely will be back next time I'm in Colorado
Nice place to grap quick bite but don't have handicap access to get into the store. Kids may not be provided with some kind of kids painting paper to keep them entertained.
Crazy cool views, lots of stairs, but it is worth it. There is a restaurant at the top. Be sure to scope out the parking lots versus where you would like to end up because if you choose the very farthest lot from the amphitheater there will be a whole lot of stairs to climb. There are closer lots with less walking. It just depends on what you would like to do and how much walking you want to do. It is beautiful though
Great venues, large lines for some shows get there early and tailgate!
What can I say?! Bit of a lifelong ambition to visit here, ever since watching U2 Live Under a Blood Red Sky back in the 80s.
Visited on a misty grey August morning and was still absolutely blown away by the beauty, the stunning setting and the musical history... what a perfect place to build an event venue!
Didn t get the chance to attend a gig (would have been interesting... never seen a line array pointing UP at the audience before!) but it was absolutely worth it for the visit alone.
Beautiful site, nice trails and who wish, great musical place.
A very beautiful place! I attended Worship on the Rocks 9-16. It was amazing! Worshiping God with 8,000 people in His creation was an experience I will not forget!
Red Rocks is one of my favorite concert venues for Sound and the Beautiful Surroundings! I also Enjoy workouts here by climbing the seating up and down.
Stunning! An easy drive over there and a great tribute to musicians at the visitor center and trading post.
Amazing venue maybe the best in America. Make sure you bring something comfortable to sit on and some hiking shoes...
This place is absurdly dope. When you go to the bathroom there is a list of all previous bands that have played at red rocks and it's amazing the kind of bands that have played. The view is amazing and with legalized weed you're gauranteed to have a party unless you just don't know how to enjoy yourself. I was completely sober the whole time just soaking up the views and I loved it. Umphreys McGee played when I went and I couldn't have asked for a better venue.
We didn't have a chance to catch a concert this past visit, but awesome place to view the sunrise.
Great views, sound and times. Went for Ghostbusters on film on the rocks. Loved every minute of being there. This place should be a bucket list item for everyone!
Great venue! Steve Miller and Peter Frampton were awesome will remember for a long time to come, and a special thanks to the Staff at the upper north gate for their help and understanding, and for the nice lady that ran me down to return my camera that I set down and forgot to pick up,YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!
This place will take you away by surprise when you see it. Its a gigantic natural theater, in an amazing location. Half of your time will be spent in wondering that how did this place get to be so perfectly situated for a theater, and why no other place has a yhing like this.
Beautiful views, excellent food, a bucket list must see!
Great overlook of the area. The amphitheatre has great acoustics.
By far the best venue I've ever been able to see a show! A MUST DO!
Amazing concert venue, so much fun and crazy pretty. Acoustics were okay, but the real fun in just being out in that space listening to your favorite artist. Crowd size wasn't overwhelming, and the concessions were tasty (if a bit expensive). Just be sure to leave 10-15 minutes before your show ends - it will save you hours of waiting to get out.
Had a blast. Great show, great group of Dirty White Boys. Fantastic
Awesome park to visit , best place to see the sun rise and enjoy mountain. Highly recommend
I only have 1 word to describe this place. Amazing! Beautiful scenery from all areas. Highly recommended.
Stunning views! FOOD drinks! Can't wait for the amphitheater to reopen
This is the most beautiful park I have been to get. Named for the distinctively red rocks which make up much of its landscape, it is a sight to see.
I visited a Brit Floyd Concert with my 12 year old daughter last weekend and while the music was good, the constant pot smoke around us kept us from enjoying the show. I understand a concert such as this will draw this kind of crowd and I would have been o.k. with the occasional joint being passed around but there was a large number of people around us smoking constantly and the woman next to me was actually crying because it was too much for her. I believe the security staff could do a much better job enforcing the venue's own rules and help creating an enjoyable experience for the patrons. I doubt I will be back anytime soon.
I love the view from the top. Great place for walk around or even better. A great place to do cardio
It's an amazing experience! The rocks are beautiful!!
The best music venue ever! Beautiful red rock views of Denver, and amazing acoustics!
