The best venue for a concert ever. Amazing sound amid the beautiful red rocks park. Had some soft pretzels last night and they were really good.

The best venue for a concert ever. Amazing sound amid the beautiful red rocks park. Had some soft pretzels last night and they were really good.
Good please to exercise and see really cool concerts!
Really beautiful view here. I would definitely go back again soon.
Absolutely gorgeous venue. There is a reason bands come from around the world to play here. It is unlike any other music experience and I treasure each time I get to see a show here, even if the music isn't that good, Red Rocks makes anything better. Above & Beyond wrote a song about it too, which is super exciting because they make beautiful music.
This place was AMAZING! I attended a show here which made the experience that much better but the scenery was gorgouse all by itself! Must see for tourists!
Red Rocks Amphitheater is awesome, great place to go to see any musicians in Denver...
Great area where a lot of people were hiking and exercising. Would definitely give it 5 stars if I was there for a show.
Plan your trip to and from ahead of time. Uber/Lyft were $120+
LOVE LOVE LOVE this venue!!! I cannot wait to go back for another concert. I've also been to a wedding there. Amazing. It's definitely a place everyone should experience!
Incredible venue, If you're ever in Denver don't skip Red Rocks. See a concert there you won't be disappointed.
Highly recommended. I read this before but now can say, literally anywhere you sit in this venue is going to be a great seat. Sound and views are amazing. Free shuttle takes you up to the front if you can't make the hike for a concert
So worth the long walk! Beautiful setting. We were there for Chris Tomlin.
I think we all know it's one of the best venues in the country. I go several times a year. Make sure to walk down lower or all the way up top. Different perspectives on the venue give you a different experience and view. But be prepared to drop some $$$$$s.
Are you honestly looking at my review for this place?! Has its fame not proceeded it?! This is hands down my favorite concert venue. Walking up to it is makes you feel as if you're taking part in an ancient ceremony. Literally the only drawback of this place is the douches in Morrison who don't respect that the town revolves around red rocks, not the other way around. Okay also, assigned seating is lame but easy enough to get into
Very sad for last night's concert. I understand the "rain or shine", and we can't control the weather, but isn't there something you could do to accommodate the guests when it's "rain". Maybe build tiered parking or a pavilion??? Some of these people come from very far away, and spend lots of money to come and enjoy themselves at your venue.
what a beauty! This place is so beautiful! We came here for a concert at night and it was so cool to see all of the rocks with fluorescent lights! the sound of the concerts was so awesome! I've heard to come here when the sun rises but I have not yet done that. The only bad thing about it was we had to walk like a million stairs it seems like so I think if I parked and from parking what it would have been better. We parked in the north parking lot. I definitely want to come by and see this place again because it was so pretty. Just be careful driving we saw someone that drove off of the path and almost off of the cliff!
All i can say is awsome seeing five finger there.. What an epic concert at an amazing venue..
Best concert venue ever. Nothing else compares to the magnificence of this view.
Truly one of the greatest concert venues in the world. Nothing beats its scenery or overall vibe!
Wow drove from Seattle with my kids to finally see a concert here in October. It was the perfect facility to hear and see Wardruna also for the first time live. Looking forward to my next adventure to the Red Rock.
World class reputation for being one of the foremost music venues in the world. Nestled among the reddish hogback formations is an amphitheatre with great acoustics and stunning visuals. Seating is 3 foot deep or so stair steps. When crowded it is difficult to move to and from the aisles. Thou front and center is ideal, all locations throughout the venue are worthy of it's world class distinction. There are rules that should be reviewed pertaining to what can be brought in. Enjoy the show.
Dog friendly. Take your camera! Really nice trail that has tons of views of the old red colored rocks
Beautiful but exhausting to those still acclimating to the altitude.
Absolutely beautiful venue! Just saw the Nine Inch Nails show and it was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better experience seeing my favorite band!
Praise God for this wonderful night at Red Rocks seeing Chris Tomlin with my beautiful friend April.
Hi there, I've been going to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO for many, many years and I've really enjoyed going there in the past several years. There are several concerts that I've been going to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison that I really, really enjoyed going to. I went to see a Tribe Called Quest a couple of summers ago and I really enjoyed going there.
I didn't take any photos of the Red Rocks Amphitheater in the past several years, but if you're able to see a live music in the future at Red Rocks Amphitheater, please consider going to see live music at Red Rocks Amphitheater in the future. :)
Great history. Definitely tour the facilities. A lot of great people have played there.
The scenery is magnificent. Be prepared to walk alot up hill. And get there early. Our concert started at 7. We showed up at 6:15. Didnt get in until 8:00. We missed first band. The line was crazy long. But its worth the experience. Will go again. Plus parking is free!
Strong contender for best looking concert venue in the US. Every seat has a great view, and the sound is all it's cracked up to be.
The loop around the gift shop side of the park is a perfect 2.5m hike for small kids who have a little practice hiking. Not too hard, but there is an elevation gain.
Much like any other college... Don't sign up for classes and expect anything to get done quickly. Free popcorn during the day and a great interest in diverse student population. If you want to take the online route, do yourself a favor and don't do it. Over $5000 for a full time schedule: loans and Pell won't be enough to cover it.
I loved this place it's just beautiful and breathtaking. It's not an easy walk when you're up in age my husband 78 & myself 66 the only thing that would or could have improved this visit would have been if FFDP had been performing as they were the last time I was their in my 65th birthday. It's a must see.
Seeing NF at Red Rocks just takes it to a whole 'nother level.
Hands down one of the best venues in the country. Beautiful and fun to hike when they aren't doing shows. Plus my wife and I got married here so this place holds a special place in my families hearts. Thank you red rocks.
I've never seen a natural amphitheatre like this before. I didnt get the opportunity to go to a concert or anything here but I cant even image how dope that must be. As far as concert venues go, this is easily the best one I've ever seen. Just visiting was pretty cool. I couldn't recommend this place more for your next concert outing.
Omg I will be back to see a show for sure. It's great
The Mecca of venues in North America. If you have a chance to see your favourite band here, DO IT!!
I could not imagine a place more beautiful for a concert. The red rocks are beautiful. You look out over the valley of Denver and its suburbs. Stunning. Parking was included in the price of the ticket.
There are plenty of places selling nachos, beer, wine, etc. along the sides of the amphitheatre.
This venue is built into the side of a mountain. You either have to walk up from the parking lots or down and reverse the walk after the performance. Choose wisely.
The first 45 rows or so of the amphitheatre are reserved seating. The rest are general admission.
Sara McLachlan was fantastic. What a great vocalist and entertainer. The Colorado Symphony Orchestra was a great addition to the performance.
it is definitely a must go if you are around denver.
This was an awesome place!! There were no events so it was free to park & walk around. I'm not familiar with the Denver area, but I would say this was something I really enjoyed, and would love to see again.
The Best Place in America to see a concert!!! I want to see PJ here
1 thing that is stupid about Red Rocks is when you buy a bottle of water they remove the cap and won't allow you to have it? Hard to put an open bottle of water in your pocket, or, people could kick it over?
What a dumb idea. You aren't removing single use plastics from the venue by removing the bottle cap? Just creating a pain in the neck for people buying the $5 bottle of water.
Lame!!!
Very pretty, be aware the museum/toilets are not open all of the time. We went at a peak time in winter and they were all shut.
How can you come to the Denver area and NOT visit this place? Iconic venue, great place to hike, and amazing views. Also a great place to get married if you're lucky.... :)
Such a unique and beautiful venue. A must do experience!!!
Just an amazing view Of the city while being able to watch a concert between 2 massive rock fixtures... Simply mind blowing
Interesting venue. Bit of a hike to get to after you park, can bring in your own food and drink (see rules on website), prepare for cooler temperatures by the end of an evening show (even in the summer), and suggest a portable stadium seat or cushion to sit on as seating is wood boards on a concrete stair step. However, if weather cooperates you'll leave with a unique, historic experience!
The most amazing Music-Venue I've been to. The acoustics are amazing, the view on top as well (with Denver in the background), in a beautiful natural park. Still don't know why they had to cancel the Illenium gig for a bit of snow...
Amazing music venue unlike anywhere else in the world.
One of the best views of so much of Colorado. Many smaller towns can be seen but if you look hard enough you can see Denver in the distance. The entrance when you drive through has this beautiful natural arch that just takes the breathe away.
Amazing location for live music!! Catch a show even if you don't know the artist!! Absolutely stunning! The art center at the visitor center has some amazing pictures, post cards and magnets. Great art work! Do check that out!
Best concert venue I've ever been to. Infinitely recommended. If you're from the east coast, be careful about climbing up and down the stairs. The elevation makes it much more difficult.
This place is great for afternoon hike. Well suited for families with small kids. You can do the trading Post loop in around a hour
Awesome stop on my most recent trip to the Denver area. Stopped off to check out the venue and the visitor's center. Incredible to think that Red Rocks Amphitheatre was hand-made via the good ol' WPA projects. Loved the Hall of Fame in the visitor's center.
Red Rocks is way more than a music venue. It is beautiful to be immersed in nature. Hiking trails are abundant. Th restaurant is reasonable prices nd th patio area views th backside of th park w th hills in full view
We came here last week while on vacation from Texas. I've wanted to see a concert at this venue for quite some time. It met all my expectations, and then some! The venue is beautiful. I honestly didn't know what to expect on the way there. The trip wasn't that far of a drive from Denver. We got there early enough to get parking close to the stairs that lead to the entrance. We saw others coming in later that had a long uphill walk from their parking area. Lot's of locals tailgating before the concert. First time I've seen that too. The only negative was all the pot smoke in the air. You couldn't take a breath without smelling it. Not exactly the best smell. It didn't deter from our enjoyment, just more of an annoyance. The seats are stone/concrete, so next time I would bring a cushion to sit on. The weather was perfect. I was amazed at the sound quality too. We sat about half was up and it was just right. Well worth a visit!
I work at Red Rocks Amphitheater and it is awesome for any concert.
There is no better place to see live music than Red Rocks. Spectacular views, beautiful setting and prefect acoustics.
The location is extraordinary!! I attended the final show for Shpongle on Saturday May 4th and it was absolutely phenomenal!! All of the staff and security were very professional and friendly. A perfect setting for the final magical performance of Shpongle!
Beautiful. Reminds me of Sedona. Lots of trails. Amphitheater has excellent acoustics
Amazing natural venue to see great acts. Everyone from Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, to the Offspring rock at Red Rocks. Thanks for all the Fantastic memories.
Even if there is not a concert going on in the amphitheatre it's definitely worth the short detour off of I-70 for the scenery. It's a great spot for photos and everything is easily accessible. The size of the rocks is mind boggling. This was one of my wife's favorite places.
The scenery was absolutely amazing!! So much to see and do!! Can t wait to return!!
This was a really cool place to visit during my holiday week vacay in Denver. Although the museum and amphitheater were closed there were alot of people visiting, taking pictures and exercising on the steps of the amphitheater. The views of the humongous red rock formations against the sky was breath taking. I didnt see the trail opposite the amphitheater until we were driving out of the parking lot. There were people walking along the trail going up the hill. I would have loved to explore the trail and see the different view it provided.
Outstanding venue for concerts! I have seen tribute 64 and AJR recently. Both were great shows.
Awsome place to see a show. Lots of steps though so be warned.
Beautiful place! Quite a hike up to the top but well worth it! The sound is fabulous too!
All you can eat pizza which is delicious and my friend from San Francisco was surprised that e Mountain Pizzeria was that amazing. We even ordered a special pizza and they were more than accommodating. If you're going to see a concert at Red Rocks is definitely a place to have a meal.
Iconic Denver. Famous place to see a concert. Awesome place to hangout on a sunny afternoon. Badass place to workout.
Amazing place!! I can't wait to come back. Just stunning!!
Breath taking. So glad it was stiff open even though on google it said it was closed. A must see
Amazing place stop off before travell8ng into the Rockies
One of the best concert locations you could ever visit. Making it a point to go here often.
Most beautiful music venue I've ever seen. If you ever get s chance go to a concert at the red rocks it's totally worth it!!!
Second time here for just a hike. Views are always breathtaking. Would love to come back someday for a concert!
