So this is my third time seeing Railroad Earth play at Red Rocks, and as always this venue blew me away! The lights, the sound, being in the Great Outdoors, it's all incredible! We even got rained on, quite significantly! Everyone just pulled out there rain jackets and once it quit pouring, the show continued! If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and go see your favorite band play. It definitely won't disappoint!

P.S. The only downside to going and seeing a show at Red Rocks is that it will spoil you through and through. I don't want to see live music anywhere but here now!

The rocks where huge and very interesting we did not go into the amphitheater due to the concert going on but great views from the rocks, we took one of the many trails and it was very hot I recommend bringing tennis shoes and water if you are planning on hiking in the heat. Overall great experience

Perfect, accept that the reserved section went all the way to the stage. Hard to imagine sitting down in the front row at a Rise Against show. Oh well they were still great from above the reserved section. Anti flag ripped too.

Red Rocks is one of the nicest concert venues I've ever been to. The sound system was great. The video board was great and the natural beauty of the red rocks was magnificent. I also liked the food selections that go beyond the typical fried food and burgers. The lines for food moved quickly and efficiently. Look forward to seeing another show here.

One of the most amazing experiences of my life. No matter where you stood, you could always see what was going on up front. Nice smoking area with beautiful views. Plenty of steps to sit. Staff was friendly. Merchandise table was hell, but that was expected with popular artist playing. Definitely worth flying from Maryland to visit.

This is right on the outskirts of town, I visited it once when going up in to the mountains. It's really cool to stand up on stage and see how an amphitheater works, recommended if you've never been to one.

A spectacular sight and must see in the Denver area! The trails around the Amphitheatre are great to walk. The Amphitheatre area is simply beautiful. The red rocks are stunning. Be sure to leave enough time to look, explore, enjoy, and take in a concert!

One of the iconic outdoor amphitheatres in the United States. During the day it is usually open to view for free (though lots of people use it as a work out location because of the stairs).

An Amazing place to see a concert!!! Just be careful to check the weather because I went and it was snowing lol. But even then the experience was worth it and they sell ponchos so all in all I'm not complaining .

This is such an amazing place. It's true that the acoustics are very good. I saw the Tedeschi Trucks Band here and there put on such a great show. Even waiting on line to get in, the view is beautiful. I highly recommend going to see a show here.

You will have the most unforgettable concert experience of your life! Even the hike and museum are amazing!

I did have a bad experience at red rocks because they had to cancel a show due to snow but honestly there wasn t anything they could do about it on short notice. It was mostly because the trucks with the production equipment couldn t make it. It was also probably a safety concern and people wouldn t have been dressed right. It went from 68 degrees to straight snow within a few hours and it snowed almost a foot! Sad I didn t get to see the show there oh well I will live.

Beautiful,

Beautiful,

I live in Texas but have family in Denver and come once a year. I always ask to stop at Red Rocks. Not only is it great during the day to work out or walk around, but its also great at night when they have concerts.
Last time we went to see a Beatles cover band.

With beautiful, breath taking of the mountains and the city it's a place I will continue to visit.

The pictures don t do it justice. It s so beautiful in person. I visited during a trip and I want to go back so badly to see a show, it must be amazing. Being able to visit the park during the day was breathtaking in of itself.

Elevated heart rate - CHECK! Loved this park and amphitheater! We were in Colorado to see Dave Matthews but he was playing at Fiddler's Green :( show was fantastic as always. However we made the side trip to see the amphitheater as part of our adventure. So want to see a show here someday... and will fly in to do so. The natural surround rock, museum and just being there was a great experience.

It was nice beautiful! A lil crowded but more people wearing masks on hike than not but in town where the restaurant us not many mask wearers. Trails are scenic and peaceful and wild and colorful! Will definitely go back!

Went to see Rascal Flatts here. Great concert and great venue. My only complaint...I could not take in unopened non-alcoholic beverages, but 10 feet from where I gave up mine, they were selling cans of beer! It made no sense!

went there to see Deadbeats presents Zeds Dead. Was amazing. one of the best venues i have every seen in my life. you can see beautifully structured mountains from the top if the amphitheater.

I was completely surrounded by beautiful mountains and the Amphitheater cut into the mountains truly sounds like it is playing music.. It's a amazing place and I will always go back there when I visit Colorado!

As beautiful as this area is we weren't able to see the amphitheater. We looked it up online and said we could get in until 4, but after a pricey Uber ride over there at 3 we were told they closed at 1 or 2 (depending on who you spoke to) and they wouldn't let us even walk down to look into it. So disappointed.

Love going to concerts here, once in a lifetime experience.. Just magical anywhere in red rocks..just even to go walk around.. But it's a must to see a concert here.. A bucket list thing for sure... :) love it..

Of course a very iconic amphitheatre with some big names having performed here. Very unique setting looks amazing and sounds even better! Saw NF here a few weeks back and was such an awesome experience. Only complaint is how far you have to walk to get from parking to the actual amphitheatre. Tons of stairs and not very disability friendly (although I may have missed that part). Either way, super cool place, definitely give it a visit if you can.

Who doesn t love this place? Never seen a bad show here, even from performers I generally don t care for. I feel like it truly brings out the best in musicians. Everybody should see a show here at least once in their life.

With great natural acoustics, it was a bummer that they had the speakers too high. Ears were ringing when we entered the seating area. Will bring plugs next time. But security and ticket check was fast and friendly. Water was accessible. Drinks and food were good.

Visiting the Red Rocks Amphitheater backstage was an amazing experience. From the moment you enter you see these beautiful red rocks towering from the grounds. There is a split in the road when you drive in to go either to the national park or the amphitheater. Once we got there I had to walk up every step as well as take a photo from backstage. I highly recommend anyone visiting and I hope my back for a concert soon.

This place is wonderful! From the view to yoga to running the steps .....oh yeah and concerts....This is a highlight in Denver. The tourist season is ramping up so there is traffic but don't let that stop you from seeing this natural wonder as there is parking available with a little walking involved. So come and enjoy Red Rocks!

Amazing history

Amazing history
I am a fan of music and the museum was still educational to me. The scenery was outstanding and the speaker quality was excellent from the setups I heard. It was nice seeing all the people exercising on the amphitheater stairs and on the beautiful trails nearby. I can not wait to travel from my home state of North Carolina to see a show. Definitely a repeat.

This is a magical place with many dimensions - natural beauty of the impressive rock formations, unique architectural achievement that shows well in sunlight or when lit up at night, a one-of-a-kind musical venue for scale and impact with fitting acoustics and open sky experience akin to Roman amphitheaters. For the romantics, magic of sunsets, Denver vistas and starry nights, and for the party peeps a place with all the perks (except due to Covid-19 restrictions we could only imagine that dimension!). Yes, it's labeled an "entertainment venue" but you can choose what you find most entertaining - any time of day or season. If you plan to sit, bring a cushion or a stadium seat, and consider a blanket as temperatures drop after dark. No coolers allowed, and only factory-sealed water bottles - of course you can buy refreshments on site and enjoy a cold beer during the Colorado Symphony performance under the stars. Family friendly, facilities are like new, parking no problem, but account for potential traffic to get there, and in/out.

I ve always heard what a great place this was. Well, last Wednesday I got to see Third Day play there and I m telling you, aside from the bleacher seats this place is awesome. The acoustics alone are worth making a trip out there!

I don't know if I can say anything unique about Red Rocks that hasn't already been said. Actually, that's exactly what makes Red Rocks special. It's unique. It's a venue unlike anywhere else. If you have an opportunity to see a show at Red Rocks, take it. If your favorite band is playing at Red Rocks, find a way to see the show. Do whatever it takes to get here. You won't regret it.

The most beautiful place to see a show! The venue is beautiful, the staff is awesome, the surrounding park is beautiful. Can't say enough about this place, words and pictures just don't do it justice. And the sound is great too.

Such an awesome spot to visit. The natural rocks are beautiful, and the ampitheater has been included in such a spectacularly natural way. It all blends together perfectly. Loved the whole vibe of this place.

This is the greatest concert venue I have ever been to in my entire life. The scenery surrounding the Red Rocks is breathtakingly gorgeous and the sound here is incredible. The trek from the car to the Amphitheater is an experience in itself for someone who is not from high altitudes. I am still in awe of the experience writing this review. I saw Brit Floyd on June 7, 2018 and they were amazing! They played for over 3 hours and the light show was incredible. The venue is general admission so the earlier you get there, the better seat you can choose. Be aware, if you get there late, you may miss out on good seating and have to climb the stairs all the way to the top, which is a crazy workout. If you aren't from Colorado you must get tickets for a concert, it's a once in a lifetime experience and something I will never forget!

Easily the best concert venue I've ever been to. The layout is simple and allows you to get to and from your seat fairly easily. The sound quality in the Amphitheatre is epic! You feel the music.

Great place for a hike as well as attend concert. Some folks just enjoy running up and down amthitheater steps, but we were in there for a hike. My kids would enjoy type 2-3 rock scramble but unfortunately this place closes most of the Rocky structures for climbs unless with full climbing gear.
