Awesome place to walk around and visit. Breathtak...
Awesome place to walk around and visit. Breathtaking scenery, would love to attend a concert here. Fun to hike, be sure to wear good shoes for the walking and take lots of photos.

If you have a chance to see a show here, you NEED TO DO IT! It's by far the coolest music venue I've ever been to. Amazing on all accounts!
Amazing place. It's been exactly 32 years between visits. Saw the Grateful Dead there Aug 11th 1987
Thank God I decided to get a babysitter instead of bringing my kids to the concert. The amount of marijuana smoke was sickening. I couldn't believe how much weed got snuck through security. And there's obviously no security inside kicking pot smokers out. We ended up leaving early because it was just too much. As many others have said, this venue used to be amazing, but with the complete lack of regulation and security, it's not worth boasting about now.
Too much pot smoking and vaping for me, but overall the experience was pretty amazing.
Amazing place. You can exercise and take some pictures
it's a must of Colorado.
This place is so cool. Definitely need to see a show here.
One of the most epic places on the planet. Just go.
Great concert venue! - but So. Many. Stairs. Lol
It's nice that they let you take in food and drinks!
Awesome place to see nature s creation,, naturally occurred amphitheater in between Rocky mountain range,, different experience spot for concerts and recreation ,, you can also experience wild life around
Great place to enjoy music outdoors. During the day it's a great work out spot
John Fogerty rocked The Rocks! What a show and venue.
If you are going to see a concert try to get there early and park in the upper north lot
We just saw Rascal Flatts there tonight. Great tailgating before gates open. Also plenty.to drink and eat once they open. If you don't get to park in the upper north lot you can have quite a hike.. it was an amazing experience and beautiful. I highly recommend to go see a concert here if you have a chance. We also stayed at the origin hotel which is nice. Super clean and good food. Plus less than 3 miles from Red Rock
So worth the visit during a trip to Denver, plus it's free to look around! Just be sure to get there before 2
First time here and all I can say this place is awesome! Both as a park and for concerts
Red rocks is sick venue probably one of the best places you could see a concert I would definitely recommend going to a more mellow show or acoustic show if you want great sound a great view and a beautiful atmosphere
AMAZING sound! I didn't get to see a concert, but we saw them doing a sound check and playing a variety of music. It was awesome. A great place to workout as well. I was surprised by the number of people running the steps and exercising in the area.
Wish the covid19 didnt have the basement shut down and no concerts planned. Cant wait to come back and get a full tour and see a show.
Must see a concert here, bucket list item for sure! SO COOL! Also the burritos here were really good too and reasonably priced. You can bring your own outside food to enjoy as well though.
Greatest vet i have ever experienced. Most affordable in town. they do a lot of business because it is so affordable so expect to wait 10-15 even if you have an appt. Well worth it for this kind of care.
Put this one in your Bucket List. Beautiful, Amazing a must see.
Simply beautiful. This is a very unexpected, cool place to visit. I'm sure the concerts there would be amazing. You can see Denver from the top of the theater. You can just drive around the park, it doesn't take long. There were some people that were going hiking around the rocks as well.
It's a beautiful natural setting with enough practical amenities to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. I've seen both concerts and movies at the venue and both were great. Bringing stadium cushions is a good idea as it's bench seating.
I went and saw Thievery Corporation here and they weren't amazing but I'm not reviewing the show I'm reviewing the venue. The drink prices weren't horrible and the parking options were actually very good. The actual auditorium is beautiful and the soundstage is quite good. The view from here is also great. It's a bit of a hike but it's totally worth it. If you're in the area and you like music, you simply must go.
I watched cody jinks in concert here with my husband
Oh my god best place never saw a place like this before
Regularly encountered hypocritical and unprofessional staff behavior.
Staff in roles meant to advise students on multiple interactions did not know their relevant information nor computer systems. At least two were dishonest about course focus; lied about the existence of classes offered at other schools that would have served my path better.
Dangerously unreliable digital infrastructure; according to multiple staff members, the system "will likely go down the night assignments are due".
Cafeteria offers very limited options, worse so for anyone with dietary restrictions.
Would advise any prospective student to consider all other options before committing to a hampered education.
Such an amazing venue and park. Whether you going for a show or a hike this place is spectacular!
The beautiful outdoors with sweeping vistas. The trading post trail is a nice loop trail, somewhat strenuous because of the changes in elevation and the altitude. Red Rocks Amphitheater is a world class entertainment venue; some people may recall seeing it in an episode of The Great Race. The many rock monoliths are incredible.
this place is amazing!!! went a few weeks ago and it was closed to events because of the covid stuff but still could walk around. the view of those rocks are just incredible.
Legendary, go and see why, I've been to concerts in many states and this venue is definitely unique! Be aware you must climb what seems like 1,000 steps
Had a great time at the concert. Red Rock is the best. But the bald security man at the top letting people in for dinner was incredibly rude and has no business dealing with the public
Music on stage is just the beginning of what Red Rocks has to offer. Built into sedementary pillars eroded and conglomerated from the ancient Rocky Mountains, the natural sandstone formations are a crown jewel of Colorado. Add in the restaurant, museum, and daytime hiking to get one of the best experiences CO has to offer. If you're headed to a show, come early to enjoy the Rocks in all their glory.
Absolutely beautiful. My friend and I went for a stunning hike through Red Rocks. Definitely a must see if you're visiting Colorado.
Saw Michael Franti here, now I don't want to go to a concert anywhere else. What an outstanding venue.
Haven't been for a concert, but it's a great place to go for a hike. It's always open, but usually pretty empty unless there's a special event or you catch the workout crowds on Saturday mornings. We go for the nice scenic trails and just to poke around the amphitheater and other facilities every once in a while.
The best place to see a concert, period!! The scenery, history, sound, atmosphere, energy..... doesn t get any better! Has been updated to accommodate concessions and parking.
Awesome venue with walking trails and beautiful views
Beautiful. Just took a nice drive around this time.
If you've never seen a concert there than you have wasted your life...period.
If you are in Denver, you must go to Red Rocks! Take some comfortable shoes and walk the steps of the amphitheater. The views are amazing.
Cool venue but they don't do anything to enforce no smoking in the seating areas. We were talking to a staff person while a person was smoking right next to us. This was the second show I attended this year and both were ruined by the smokers.
Easily the most impressive music venue I've ever been to. The stage opens up to an amazing view of downtown Denver. Massive red rock formations on either side of the seating. Perfect lighting, amazing acoustics, and a fantastic vibe. I've also had the pleasure of going to the movies on the rocks they hold occasionally on the summer, but haven't gotten up early enough for the yoga on the weekends. The only irritating thing is the price of food and drink inside, though you can bring water in with you. Also worth noting the staff that has to constantly deal with drunk/high patrons has never been anything but professional and friendly on my visits. Kudos to all of them.
Beautiful venue set in between two large boulders and had a great sound system. We saw AJR perform and it was awesome! I never heard of them before the concert but would definitely go again. They had a great blend of different types of sounds and good lyrics. They also did a wonderful job blending music, art, and technology. Very impressive!
One of the most incredible places I have visited.wonderful
Words can't fully describe the magic of this place for a live music show. Easily my favorite venue to see a show at. The views, the sounds, the atmosphere of the crowd. Don't hesitate and grab tickets to your favorite artists at this venue!
An absolute must see if visiting Denver. During summer months, come at sun down for the best pictures and weather. Access to the amphitheater is easy by car and offers multiple opportunities for pictures. The area surrounding the amphitheatre is equally beautiful and offers short hikes with picturesque back drops. Felt and looked unreal.
Not only the world's best outdoor music c venue, but a good workout going up and down a few times
Red Rocks is always amazing. There isn't a bad seat in the house and the setting seems to consistently draw out inspired performances. The Colorado Symphony series is a solid bet. The production on those evenings is so on point that it's hard to believe that they're live.
Beautiful, was just sight seeing, nice visitor center, cool history.
Such beautiful views!!! Many trails to hike, the trading post is quaint and Informative. There is some nice art and home made soap and tourist stuff there. Haven't tried the restaurant yet...of course, the concerts are out of this world!
Out of this world experience seeing Twiddle with Pigeons Playing Ping and the Kitchen Dwellers. Got there early and still had to miss most of the first act waiting in the security line because they opened the doors for GA at the same time as the show starting.
Great park to hike. Love the views and running up the stairs!
Went on a hike at Red Rocks and my breath was taken away. I can only imagine the concerts here. Most Coloradans recommend this place and I see why.
Wasn't prepared for the uphill/many-stairs climb from parking, and the wind caused issues with the sound for the first couple hours of Tenacious D, but an awesome venue nevertheless.
The best place in the world to watch a concert! The city lights in the background are amazing.
Beautiful scenery and an unmatched sound! Hope to be back many times.
Most beautiful venue. Wear your hiking shoes. You are going to have a blast!
What can you say that hasn't already been said elsewhere. Breathtaking views. Amazing engineering. Must see if you're in the vicinity.
This used to be one of my favorite places to see shows. There was never a bad seat in the house. With noise ordinances in place, the sound is definitely worse if you're above row 25. The ticket prices are still reasonable, but the fees are outrageous. I also have no idea who is in charge of the parking situation this year, but it is terrible. The only way to not have to deal with people who have no idea what's going on (literally, if you ask a question, they will tell you they don't know), is to get there early enough that they haven't even started to set up. This means no later than 4:00pm, so make sure you take some drinks and some food and tailgate before the show. I still recommend seeing at least one show here to check it off your bucket list, but unless it's a show I can't live without seeing, I will not be going to Red Rocks as often.
It is a nice park to walk and sit near the water. I really enjoyed.
Even it was raining.
Love this place I would go again.
Very picturesque, a must see while you're in the area. Even better if you can organise to see an event here!
What an awesome venue for a show. You have to experience it to believe it.
The acoustics and views are amazing! Red rocks did Not disappoint.
It was Beautiful, the Natural Rock Formations are Awesome. No wonder it is so popular to visit.
I spent 4 hours at Red Rocks just taking it all in. What a beautiful, perfect day in an incredible place. Be sure you take the time to eat lunch outside in the cafe. Good food, drinks, and views.
What an incredible venue, the sound is perfect wherever you sit, the views are beyond amazing. We love it here !
Great place to stop and see even saw wild horses outside.
Still one of the best venues in the USA for shows. I have seen several here from Queens of the Stoneage to Beck. When shows are not going on you are free to walk around (do it the day of a show and you may get treated to a free soundcheck). View is like no other in the Denver area. Bummer the nearby Village of Morrison did the noise ordinance. No late night shows anymore, and encores are often cut short.
Why would a venue sell tickets but not have enough seats. It is beautiful but be prepared for limited parking, a long steep walk, and no seat unless you arrive way before the show starts. Very disappointing!
I grew up in Colorado so I've been to this venue many times over the years but it's been around 25 years since I moved away. I'd been telling my wife what a great place it is to see an artist and she had been wanting to go ever since. When ticket for Jason Mraz, one of her favorite artists, showed up online, I figured this would be the perfect show to introduce her. I was a little worried that maybe my memories were skewed by youth and I was hoping she'd fall in love with Red Tickets Amphitheatre the way I had. The drive in is beautiful and there were people directing traffic for us to park. We took a backpack with a wrap and a blanket. They allow empty or sealed water bottles too. We did the hike to the lower gate and she was impressed with the space. (My wedding vows were to make her life awesome so I have a lot to live up to!) We found our seats and spread out a blanket to sit on. The views here are spectacular with the rocks and the city of Denver of in the distance. We live at sea level now so the hike and the stairs seem to take a little longer than they did when I lived here 30 years ago, but then again it was like getting a workout and a show together. When the performers started, she was with impressed how good the accoustics are. The sound is crisp and clear unlike arenas where everything seems to be echoing and muddy in general. The whole vibe of the crowd was relaxed and they're to enjoy the show. Wee stayed until it was over, walked back to the car, and we're back out in a little while. It was nice to see pretty much everyone alternated in the parking lot and the exit was pretty uneventful. If you love live music and want to see it in a unique space that you'll never forget, you owe it to yourself to check out Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
NOTHING better than a live performance at Red Rocks!!
I have had only good times at red rocks and enjoyed every moment of the concert I went to. It is a beautiful well-run place. The museum is awesome and a great trip down memory lane if you went there in the 70's and 80's like I did.
