This used to be a great place to catch a concert in the great outdoors of Colorado. Sadly to say the plumes of marijuana smoke now overwhelms each concert I've been to this year. Sad and embarrassing what has been done to this place...not going back any time soon. Don't bring the kids unless your ready for them to sit in the smoke.

Red Rocks is truly a spiritual experience. Definitely recommend taking a party bus there. You don't have to worry about driving or parking and can just hop off when you arrive. Loved seeing The Decembrists and Whitney there.

Great show- Jason Isbell - BUT bring your hiking boots. Lol. WE have always been lucky to find a parking spot in the South lot but not this time. We finally realized that we better just park wherever we see a spot as cars were just stopping and parking on the sides of the roads. We ended up near the Will Call building at the end of the park. Yikes. We parked and saw a trail where others were hiking to the venue. Once on the trail all we could think id "remember where we parked" and the trail we took, soon realizing that it would be an ordeal to get back. After the show we simply followed the crowds and found that there was a well lit trail called "Will Call Trail" haha. The walk was better going back. It has put me off a little about going again though. We have been quite a few times in the past, but we hate a hassle.

This is the BEST VENUE EVER! The lineup of shows is EPIC every summer. This place has been played by all of the greats and they even have a Museum where you can check out listings of every show ever played along with memorabilia like signed guitars. The view is amazing from every seat and the sound is like nowhere else. Even if you can't catch a show just go on a random afternoon and check it out, it's that cool! The trails around the park make for some great hiking too.

It's not the number 1 music venue in a America by mistake. This place is AMAZING! Plenty of views. I highly suggest following them on Instagram and if you're favorite artist books a show here buy tickets ASAP

Five stars to this venue!!!! Was here during the day and it's just open to the public. There are cardio classes, yoga classes, and people in general exercising or just hanging out. I wish I could've gone to a concert here.

Who wouldn't like Red Rocks? Read up on the times open and parking and layout. It could be a little hard on some w health issues and altitude problems. Unsurpassed views. Great museum of all bands that ever played there. The whole place is amazing. I wish I could have seen a performance while we visited Denver.

This is the coolest place to visit in Denver! Def the first spot to go to when visiting town! The gift shop doubled as a rock and roll museum and a geology museum! I recommend this place to everyone!

This is probably the most revered outdoor venue in America...and for good reason. The scenery and sound are phenomenal, and the staff is rather polite. It's a far cry from the hassle at most sheds. Just know that if you need to hit the box office, you'll need to park in a lower lot.

Red Rocks is a one of a kind venue. It's a bucket list item to see a show here! You can't go wrong! There isn't a bad seat in the whole ampitheater. Even the cheap seats are great. The acoustics and natural Colorado beauty will have you smitten. Some tips; wear good walking shoes because it is a long way from the parking lot to your seat for a concert. Take a jacket or blanket as it gets chilly at night. You can also take in your own food and sealed drinks.

There are no words to describe how amazing this place is. The view of the landscape behind the stage was stunning and jaw dropping. You need to climb a few stairs to get there, and it's a great precursor to rocking your face off. I was there for Big Gigantic and it was an incredible show at an incredible venue.

Very cool venue nestled on the foot hills of the Rockies. Went here on a Sunday morning and there were tons of workout groups in session utilizing the stairs. Would definitely attend if I lived in the area.

My absolute favorite venue and I got to a lot of shows. Went to Red Rock's 8 times just in September last year! The views are unbelievable with Denver being able to see just to the right behind the stage. The rocks on both sides of you are unbelievable and it's neat when they use lights on them. Pretty good food, a visitors center at the top you can go inside and see some history, use the bathroom, and if you are cold or need to sit, they usually have a screen playing the show in a room with chairs. There are also bathrooms on either side of the stage, with another hidden bathroom to the right of the stage(looking at it) down another set of small stairs. At those bathrooms there is a water fountain you can fill up empty water bottles or camelbaks.

We dropped in on a Sunday and there were many people there exploring and exercising. It was a free visit. There were food options on site that we did not utilize. You would need to be in good health to navigate the walkways and many stairs.

This is the best place to see live music in THE WORLD! Every artist that performs here brings their fire because it is so magical. If you haven't been, wear comfortable shoes, prepare for weather and get ready for an experience.

Probably the coolest music venue I've ever been to. Great sound even on row 46. Quite a bit of a hike to get into the venue, but you'll need the exercise to counteract all the drinks you'll have while you're tailgating. Definitely worth going to see a concert or event here.

Beautiful theater. The visitors center is something you should see. It is like a hall of fame of rock & roll seeing everyone who has played Red Rock. Try walking down to the stage and back up.

Probably one of the best places I have visited.
Took the stairs up and oh my god,it was worth it.Locals come by for hikes & steps & cardio.
Those steps are tough but what a work out and the highlight is the view from top!
Lot of trails around,so that's a plus if you are looking to hike.
Two thumbs up for red rocks!!

Wasn't sure about spending my day hiking there as it's a touristy spot, and an Amphitheater, so I wasn't super excited about it, but when I got there and started exploring the area I was very happy I did! It's definitely worth seeing.

Unbelievable ambience. OneRepublics' sound reverberated from the red rocks with a vengence and clarity making my soul shiver with joy...or was it the IPA? Highly recommend all high energy concerts should be seen at Red Rocks only. Nothing else like it in the word

Beautiful place . Lived a few miles away for 3-4 years but since they have made it a national park or gotten federal funding or whatever they changed in last couple years it just isn't the same. The park rangers are extremely rude. I wish they would consider going back to the way it used to be or at least teach the rangers not to be so rude.

Red rocks is the only amphitheater in the world like this. The mountains create wonderful acoustics. Its just such an unreal experience. Definitely a must see venue if you've never been, like I said you'll never see anything else like it. Music sounds absolutely amazing here and the sights of Denver as the sun sets our unforgettable. Please check out this venue, you won't regret it.

Epic venue, one of the most unique in the US. As with most, overpriced drinks and food ( beer starting at 9 ). Shows end earlier due to noise restrictions.

Also, on warm summer nights you may encounter bunch of cockroaches snooping around for food particles on the ground.

I have never seen a show here but imagine it would be amazing! It was fun being able to walk on the stage. Lots of exercise enthusiasts doing yoga and using stairs for working out. Such an amazing site! Gift shop/music museum was neat too. Elevation was tough on this sea-leveler. I would love to come back for a show sometime.
