This used to be one of my favorite places to see shows. There was never a bad seat in the house. With noise ordinances in place, the sound is definitely worse if you're above row 25. The ticket prices are still reasonable, but the fees are outrageous. I also have no idea who is in charge of the parking situation this year, but it is terrible. The only way to not have to deal with people who have no idea what's going on (literally, if you ask a question, they will tell you they don't know), is to get there early enough that they haven't even started to set up. This means no later than 4:00pm, so make sure you take some drinks and some food and tailgate before the show. I still recommend seeing at least one show here to check it off your bucket list, but unless it's a show I can't live without seeing, I will not be going to Red Rocks as often.
