This is a bucketlist venue. We were so lucky to be able to watch one of our favorite bands here. Concessions and service were also top notch. You can even visit during the day time if you are in town when there is not a band playing that you want to see

Red Rocks is amazing & every show there is fantastic. I've seen acts from Nine Inch Nails to Tori Amos play there & artists like it as much as the audience. The natural acoustics are incredible. There's a reason why so many live shows have been recorded there.

The only downside to the place is that there are a TON of steps, but once you get there the climb fades when you see that it is totally worth it!

This is the quintessential outdoor music venue. From the amazing natural acoustics of the terrain to the jaw dropping gorgeous views, Red Rocks is truly a near perfect place to do just about anything. Whether it is eating lunch at the cafe or running the steps for a beautiful place to workout, to actually catching a concert, Red Rocks is somehow always inviting. Drawing you in, enveloping you in its space, forcing you to reflect and meditate on the fact that this place, these rocks, took over 200 million years to form, and the years it's served as an intimate concert venue aren't even a blink of an eye in the grand scheme and long view of these gorgeous rocks.

God's beautiful creation was spectacular! Perfect day for hiking! Hiking was easy and allowed you to experience the area at your pace. Can't wait to hear a concert in the Amphitheater.

If you haven't visited Red Rock this needs to go on your must see list when in Denver. Not only sit and take in the view, perhaps imagining a concert if you can't attend one, but check out the museum like venue on the lower level of the welcome center.

red rocks park and amphitheater is a beautiful venue in which to sit and absorb its beauty. Not only does it offer top-notch artists who perform their form of artistic talent, but the scenery around the park is absolutely gorgeous. The park itself, offers praise to the Creator!

Definitely put this on your bucket list. We had the opportunity to do a light hike and also check out the amphitheater and Music Hall. For sure coming back to see a show. When in town make sure to put this at the top of your list of places to visit

This park and concert venue is absolutely stunning. We were only in Denver for a short period of time, but still made this a priority to see and hike around a little. Parking is free and this area is so worth a visit. Breathtaking views and scenery all around.

If you only have 24 hours to spend in Denver, check out Red Rocks. It's easily worth going out to view the sunrise, sunset, or if you have an opportunity to view any concert just go. It doesn't matter if you hate the genre, the venue itself will make you appreciate every second. The food and drink is about what you would pay at any sporting event with slightly higher quality. I could not possibly recommend any place that is more quintessential Denver and allows you to experience the beauty of the area more than Red Rocks.

Great place for hiking and sight seeing. The concerts and events are amazing, the openness and surrounding of nature is an amazing experience! One of my favorite places in Colorado.

Such a beautiful spot. Must see. Will be back again when there is a concert. So many people exercising, practicing yoga and enjoying the views but still plenty of space for everyone.

Absolutely stunning place. Please enjoy this venue as much as possible.

Please be warned about elevation when climbing up the stairs. Also, get there early to tailgate at your car and for great parking spot.

Best outdoor music venue in the world. It's just that simple. "Words don't it justice" said every one ever after their first time. Be prepared for some stair climbing (feels like 20-30 flights of stairs (depending on your tickets) from the lower parking lot). Just go and experience it

Pretty self-explanatory -- Red Rocks is simply amazing. I went to see a concert here and while the lines to get in were a little long at the South gate, it was 100% worth it. Great hiking trails, too.

What a special place!

What a special place!
Excellent views of Denver on the horizon.
Rich history.
Cool performers and concerts.
Also, seems like a fitness hotspot for workout junkies.

It might take your breath away with all of the walking and the steep inclines, but it will also leave speechless with that amazing natural acoustics for any concert you see there. Beautiful view before you get to the reason you went to red rocks in the first place. Oh and the pizza is always overpriced, like warm on average and it tastes better the hungrier you are.

Went with the family to check out Denver after a couple of days skiing in the nearby Dillon CO. I ll always remember U2 playing Sunday Bloody Sunday and know I got the chance to see the amphitheater for myself. Definitely worth a visit!.

Thats the best way to put it. Its an amazing sight. Daytime and nighttime. Specially when you watch the moon come up as the sun sets. Amazing. If you park on the lower parking lot it's a little hike to the door but its worth it trust me.

First time visiting this iconic natural amphitheater. Some of Colorado most beautiful scenery just outside of Morrison. The show was Beck and he was amazing with a great eight piece band on the Colors tour. The views, the mountains air and the music make Red Rocks a must see venue.

Beautiful venue. Free to visit if there is no concert or event. If you want to look down venue, park in the north lot. They also sell food up there. If you want to look up the from the stage area, park in the south areas and be ready for a hard walk up.

if the music doesn't move you, you haven't been to Red Rocks. Disney may have claim to the most magical place on earth, but in reality it can't be as Red Rocks is more magical. who really knows where the most magical place is though?

This place was very cool. I am only giving 4 stars because when we ate at the restaurant, I felt as though my salad was a bit small for $14. (It was delicious, just a bit short on value in my opinion)

This place is so freakin' cool. Seeing a show here had been on my bucket list since I was a teenager and saw photos online, about 14 years or so. I finally go to cross it off seeing Nas and Mos Def... It was amazing. The sound is great, the weather was perfect and the view is overall amazing. Just realize there are so. many. steps. to climb. I have no idea why I didn't consider this because... How else would you get to the top? Regardless! It is worth the cardio for the experience. I'd love to go back.

One of the best concert venues in the world.

If going from ocean level to Red Rocks..... lol hit the treadmill- walking from parking to seats can be brutal

It's a great view, with great sound. Amazing nature-enhanced setting! Slate seats built right into the stone. Brought our own water bottles to help reduce waste and keep the park clean, but the only place to fill them was at a water fountain under the theatre. Other concerts have water stations. Also brought our own stadium seats as there are plain wood slates for seating. Come for the experience of music outdoors

What could be better than to see you favorite act.
Simple, to see your favorite act at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. We went with some out of town guests and they were wowed. These 2 gents travel the world to see their favorite performers/bands.

After seeing Frank Turner and Lucero they were wowed and who could argue. Every Seat @ Red Rocks offer unique combinations of degrees of the act and nature. The acoustics are superb.

Friendly audiences, vendors and security come together to deliver an experience you will truly treasure. Don't wait go to Red Rocks you'll be glad you did.

Red Rocks is phenomenal. Summer shows are beautiful. Fall shows are gorgeous. Just dress according cause the temperature can drop quick when the sun goes down. The drive in is surreal. The top of the venue is even better. Everyone should see at least one show here in your life!!

A neighbor and I rode our bikes up this challenging ride to the top of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Well worth the effort because of the iconic musical history of this landmark venue where I have had the pleasure of seeing some remarkable performers like James Taylor, Crosby Stills and Nash, Carly Simon and others over the years.

Went there to sight-see the amphitheater, would definitely be a unique experience to see a concert at. New parking areas were being finished during my visit, I expect them to be open to the public soon, if not already.

The massive rock formations are incredible! If you want to see inside the amphitheatre go on a day when there is not a concert. If there is a concert, go early in the morning! There are also good trails to hike in the area!
