Drove up from Houston to see Stick Figure and Pepper. Was the best trip! The view from the stone stadium is just like no other. Perfect natural setting for Earth Day celebration and 420 concert.

Amazing venue and park. Would love to come back for a concert there one time
Enjoyed our daughter's graduation here. Fantastic views!
My wife and I have been to quite a few concerts here. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else, it's nature meets music in the best possible way!
It's the most unique venue in America, and maybe the world for that matter. To have proper space for a seated venue between 2 equally sized rocks is nearly impossible. Going to Red Rocks in an adventure that needs to be experienced in a music lover's lifetime.
With that said, many shows bring about a 7 hour ordeal of getting to the venue, parking, getting to the gate, seeing the show, and getting home/out of the venue. The volume can also be a tad on the low side (if high in GA) as the decibel levels have lowered with the ridiculous complaints from the yuppies that keep moving into Morrison.
But those are relatively minor gripes. An unrivaled calendar, a unique experience, and a beautiful view make it a great place to see a show.
There's no better place to watch a concert than at Red Rocks. I'm pretty sure every band ups their game when they play here.
Incredible concert venue!
You'll never see anything like this anywhere else.
Have seen this place several times, love it. I still would love to catch a concert here.
We went at the end of December but still there were lots of people in the amphitheater. None of the restrooms were open. It's a good workout to get to the top. Be careful of slippery stairs. Beautiful place to see when in Denver.
World class venue worth all the hype, so beautiful.
Great views! Concerts, exercising or just enjoying the evening. Beautiful!
Lived up to the hype! Saw Florence & The Machine in the snow here and it was incredible.
If you visit Denver just for a few days and you like hiking then this place for you, not very long and challenging though but views are spectacular, beautiful greens and massive mountains. I haven't been in the concert hall out there but locals know it as awesome place to go to concert. Wasn't very crowdy but there were some people so you don't feel kinda lost :)
Excellent venue... Would love to see a show there one day
Some great trails to hike here! Its no surprise that geologists and paleontologist study rock formation and dinosaur bones all over this area.
Saw John Butler Trio here and it was a blast. My first time at red rocks, so I didn't know what to expect. Could do without all the drunken concert goers but had a great atmosphere and acoustics are amazing. Can't wait to go again!
One of the greatest venues on earth
If not the greatest.
Love the views, sound is usually great, good hiking during the day.
This is a great place to hike around and enjoy some views! I would love to see a concert here. Since there was not a concert this day we got to walk around the stage. There are also a few trails that aren't too hard and have rocks that can be climbed. We had a good time here and it's free!
Very awesome place to check out even if there isn t a concert playing!
Bucket list item checked! Wonderful venue to visit. You can feel the history pouring from the canyon walls. Beautiful scenery.
Even better than I could have imagined! Can t wait to return for a concert.
Great place to hear a concert. Bring you trekking boots
Amazing views, nice walk. Good exercise and you can enjoy the quiet and calm environment if you choose the right trail.
By far the best venue in the country. Be prepared to walk a lot and climb an insane amount off stairs.
Red Rocks is amazing, rain or shine. Free parking, good food selections and every seat is a good seat. You can visit the park on show days, but have to vacate by 1:30. Beautiful area! You gotta check it out!
What an amazing venue. Unfortunately not a ton of options if your mobility is limited, so I had to hobble up a big ramp, but seating is great, visibility is great, beer prices weren't *that bad*.
Great to visit in the winter. Can't imagine how beautiful it is in the summer!
Very interesting place to visit. Would love to attend a concert there.
I gotta say I'm pretty lucky to live so close to an iconic music venue. The view, atmosphere &artists they bring is unbeatable. Hands down, the best place to watch your favorite artists preform.
Best venue we ve ever been to! The sound is incredible! With so many ppl it s amazing how clear n perfect you can hear the bands. We went to reggae on the rocks and it was one of the best!!
I surprised my husband with concert tickets to his favorite band recently. It was our second time to this awesome venue, and we had such a great time. I can never get over the natural beauty, atmosphere and awesome sound. When combined with your favorite music live, it makes for one magical experience. It s always such an amazing feeling spending time here. I can t wait to visit again soon.
Most beautiful outdoor venue ever. Wear comfy shoes, lots of walking. Bring layers and or an umbrella, weather can change quickly. Best food is at the top. There are bathrooms way down or up. Bring water and your camera. It's nice to bring stadium seats or a blanket to sit on. Get there early to walk around and go to the top, it's totally worth climbing those stairs.
It was absolutely beautiful! Would definitely recommend people see at least once in their life!!
Beautiful area with incredible views. You will get a workout just from exploring the area, nothing wrong with that.
Be aware that if it suddenly rains there's not much cover. Always windy there. Can't go there if a paid concert is in progress, which is usually pretty frequent.
This was our 1st visit and it's amazing. We hope to be able to see a concert there in the near future.
I love this park. There are so many trails to run/walk/bike and the amphitheatre is amazing too. All the times I have been there there have been people working out, which is great. Everyone out there has the same goal, to enjoy the great outdoors.
Christmas Day hiking! Beautiful area to spend a nice afternoon at. Many places to sit and just enjoy the day. Many visitor but not crowded! Worth the visit!
By far one of the most intimate places to see a show ever. Period.
Great venue, just a little spendy. $5 for a water is a little excessive...
Excellent line of sight from any seat. Natural beauty of the rocks all around. Accoustics are very good. This is a location for a concert that is hard to top.
Just visiting it and walking around allows you to see the views and the wildlife all around the venue.
Come just to walk and enjoy.
Such a great venue! Every seat is a winner, make sure you see it from the top and bottom. Restrooms off the top are much nicer than at the bottom of the hill.
Heaven on Earth. You haven't been to a show until you've been to a red rocks show.
It is as great as everybody says. Nothing else to add!...
Amazing view and venue. Next time I visit Denver, I will come here for a show.
Such a unique place to see a concert! It really captures the beauty of Colorado with the stunning rocks and incredible views.
Love this venue. Good outdoor acoustics. Every seat is good. Prepare to walk. A lot.
Music under the stars, surrounded by mountains... A transcendent experience.
I can't say much for other shows, but Bela Fleck and Friends with the Colorado Symphony sounded amazing and looked great with a light rain! Can't wait for my next show there! Be willing to hike though
First concert and it was 50 degrees and raining sideways and still the best concert experience I've ever had. Great views are obvious, the sound coming through the rocks was amazing! Can't wait to go again.
A wondrous concert venue without a doubt. But check this place out during the day, on a little hike. There is a small trail system that weaves around the giant boulders that heave out of the earths surface. Trek up the stairs to the top of the theater and get a nice leg workout in the process. There is a museum buried in catacombs of the amphitheater sharing the history of the park and venue that is pretty interesting. Don't forget to snap a scenic photo or an iconic selfie.
No words can describe how amazing of a place this is to see a concert. Especially when it is one of your favorite artists on the world.
First time visiting Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Concert attended was great. Just a couple little added extra. The staff does their best but I believe that they should be enforcing the no smoking within the Amphitheatre a little bit harder. Friend of mine smoke cigarettes and she was escorted to the stairs because that is a designated smoking area. I just agree with few people be more courteous to the others around you. My other friend I was with was highly allergic to smoke especially marijuana smoke. And throws her into a coughing fit where she wasn't able to enjoy the concert like she wanted. just saying if you're going to have rules please try to enforce them or don't have rules at all. And also for the other future concert goers that are going to go just take a step back and think about before you light up of the others around you. If you need to just walk over to the designated smoking area which is literally a few feet left or right.
Stunning view at the top of the rock formation. Museum built in. Very cool.
Incredible venue with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Be ready for a short hike from the parking lots up to the amphitheatre.
Very cool place. Be aware they close a bunch of areas at 2 pm if there is a concert that night.
I mean its fu@#in Red Rocks, your gonna enjoy it. The staff is always chill af friendly and seemingly happy to be there no matter what booth or security you deal with.
Absolutely amazing experience. Went to see Tyler, the Creator and it was great. Would definitely show up early though lines are long.
The best place for music that I have had the pleasure to attend
Beautiful day for walking the stairs and the seats!
beautiful attraction and its nice they let people check it out when there are no events
If you go to Colorado ypu have to go here even if no concert on ... truly an amazing place to visit ... great hall of fame as eell
Great place to see a show but get ready for some exercise!!!
Beautiful place. When we visited this place they were constructing the stage. But loved this place. But the entrance was too confusing as the maps was showing some other location which was little far from the entrance. It would be great if the directions are marked properly
An amazing venue with out the big show. Truly is a place to visit! Plenty of trails and hiking nearby. Stop into the near-by Morrison, for food, you won't be disappointed!
Easy to find not a bad seat in the house great sound. A place everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
So amazing! A lot of people told me not to go unless I was going to see a concert, but it's free and the drive up there was pretty cool!
This is hands down my favorite outdoor music venue I have visited in North America. As an old Deadhead who followed them around and then becoming a live music junkie, I have been to many places to indulge.
The venue itself was built in 1941, and little has changed, other than some updating, over the years. The gorgeous red rock walls form a natural amphitheater on the side of the mountain.
Seating is long wooden bench style that span the length of the venue, so if you're looking for comfort, this is not your place, or consider bringing stadium seats. But the aisles do leave plenty of room between seating.
Take the stairs to the top, and enjoy breathtaking views of Denver. At night, when lights are on from the performers, shinning on the rock walls, they seem to come alive and change shapes.
Take a trip there during the day. It's free and open most of the time. Many people come to exercise climbing the numerous staircases and running along the aisles.
Hike around and take in the museum located under the venue, enter from the back/ top of amphitheatre. Grab a bite at the grill which has indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting) There's history of the venue, it's making, and pictures, videos, concert posters and plaques of artists that performed over the years. Offerings also include private parties, etc. in the rooms located under it, off of the museum.
Take in some live music or a movie offering at this beautiful location. You won't be disappointed!
It is really nice there recomend for people who have family over to bond
Just AMAZING!!! Great time awesome staff. Highly recommend.
Amazing sound. You been to other amphitheaters you know how the vocals can wash out. Not here
A beautiful park and amphitheater! Unfortunately, they were doing some construction so I wasn't able to walk down but the view was incredible. There were plenty of hiking trails all around the park that were challenging. Don't forget your hiking boots in the winter or you will have a hard time!
This place is so awesome very sacred land great concert acoustics would not recommend shudle bus seen a lot of people stuck out after show do to shudle not comeing back for them I would recommend car pool or taxi
Beautiful scenery and good place to walk. Highly recommended.
