If you've never been here it's a must! Came for a concert and the venue is beautiful, the sound is spectacular, views of the sky are OUT OF THIS WORLD. The only negative is the set up for Uber/Lyft drivers, there isn't a single indication of where they're allowed to pickup but can drop you off anywhere. Super weird.

And what's not to love?!!! There is no other concert venue with this kind of ambiance, lighting or setting in God's country. Wow wow wow!! My husband and I are already looking at the 2019 schedule to try and get to another one.
Be prepared to walk a lot--especially lots of steep grade! But beyond worth it! The drinks are crazy expensive ($5 water bottle) yet the way these services are beautifully tucked inside the scenery lessens the sting. :)
There are no "seats" of course - just stone benches carved up the mountainside. We are not big people and there isn't a lot of elbow room no matter how far up front you are either.
Their parking lot is efficient and they even have a dedicated Uber/Lyft pickup area that was seamless for us to catch on the way out.
I will try not to measure every subsequent concert experience by this measuring stick because it was so awesome!! HEAVEN ON EARTH!

This amazing place is more than just an amphitheater. We love the trading post trail here-it is an easy 1.5 mile loop and the scenery is just stunning. Every single corner you turn is breathtaking and picturesque. We used to come here every week last summer!

The place is beautiful, sounds awesome and even has a way sweet music museum in the back I had no idea was there! Considering the size and efforts to get around that place it was surprisingly very easy to get a beer and/or other food and drink. If you park to far away specifically the farther away (I believe lower) parking lot, better be prepared for a killer uphill workout! Same with walking around in the amphitheatre itself. There s tons of stairs! Now I can see why it seems to be a popular destination for working out when there s no concerts.

Worth a stop if you have never been. Some cool hikes in the area but check the schedule to see if an event is going on. It can be very busy if something is beeing set up the day before an event as well.

Red Rocks is a great venue for both live music and for taking a nice hike when there are no events going on. I have seen a plethora of shows here from comedy to live bands play and it has never disappointed. If you are visiting Denver, this venue is a must see, regardless if you are seeing a show here or not.

Gorgeous place to see a show! Can't wait til I'm able to go back. Drinks can be pricey, but if you order doubles it's a little better. The view is completely worth it. My only complaint - we paid for seats instead of GA and were constantly surrounded by rotating strangers because apparently assigned seating means nothing here - total free for all once the show started.

One of the best places to see a concert I've ever been to. Plus it's open to the public before shows and all day when there's no event that day. Great exercise on the steps and awesome trails. The museum there is also pretty interesting. Definitely a place to see if you're visiting the Denver area.

Gorgeous, saw the most picturesque views of the sky I have seen in my whole entire life. I am so blessed to have the experience of going here and would never have thought of going here without the hundreds of recommendations that this was a must see of CO. Hope to go back after COVID-19 and see live music.

Beautiful place to visit! Depending on where you park, there will be a lot of walking required. As you're pulling in, head west to get to the upper level parking. It's a lot closer walk to the venue. The downfall is that it can take longer to get out when you leave. The bathrooms are at the bottom of the stairs, so I recommend you use the facilities before you climb the steps to your seats. They serve drinks and food on the North side of the seating.

The atmosphere was full of energy, and the Avett Brothers were just AMAZING... Was it the Amphitheatre, the bands, or just the great people from all over that put you in that great mood? I have no clue but, I know I ll be returning SOON... There is no bad seats, but if possible try to get in the center between rows 10 to 32, and between seat s 60 to 80.. If you want to sit, you may want to bring a bleacher type seat or at least a blanket, and then bring some snacks... These would be some tips I wish I knew in advance...

My wife and I visited the park and amphitheater over the weekend while on vacation and loved it. The amphitheater was really cool to see and we definitely want to come back and see a live show here. The trails around were fun to walk and the tunnel on North side was fun to go through.

Greatest place for concerts in the world!!! So many big names through Red Rocks and so many more to check me. Set in the red rocks of the front range of the Colorado Rockies, it really doesn't get better than this.

Loved this visit, and only wished we had more time. Fascinating and really glad to see an artist featured in the gallery who captured the historical and modern from every angle and through construction. I understand why people come to workout and mediate and practice yoga here. Great setting for it.

Forget all the accolades. Sure, some are earned, but just as many are exaggerated
Is it Acoustically perfect? Far from. Is it better than sitting in some cookie cutter shed? If you need to ask, there's no hope for you.
Just Go!
It's a Bucket list venue for music lovers.
This venue and it's environs can make an OK show, a great one.
Seriously!

Breathtaking venue surrounded in mountain and rock! The shows here are extremely popular due to the location and the venue itself! Most everyone here is very happy and positive! Red rocks also offers yoga and other rad activities to do when it s not playing a show!!

There is really no way to accurately review a place so perfect as Red Rocks...Anyone who has been there can agree-- it is truly magical. This is not some typical music venue or even a park. Red Rocks is a flat-out majestic creation that should be experienced by all. No matter the season, there is a beauty within the rock formations and every element there, period. I genuinely look forward to the next visit on a day-to-day basis. Red Rocks is the premier park and amphitheater that simply cannot be matched by any other...and that is a fact! Nothing can replicate this magical creation. Visit...but above all, RESPECT the magic that IS Red Rocks. It is for all to enjoy!

The park is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Went there for a show at the Amphitheater. Bathrooms were great, the staff was friendly, and the show was phenomenal. I'd recommend it for a show or just to tour the Red Rock park.

An amazing venue with the stage sitting in the bussom of 2 large rocks overlooking the city of Denver. Amazing view of nature during the day and an amazing sparkling city scape at night.

We loved exploring red rocks while in Denver! It was a relatively quiet day in the area so we got to walk the whole arena, visit the mini museum for some history and take a walk on one of the trails. Such a cool area to explore and we had beautiful (but chilly!) weather. Can t wait to go back again when in the area.

To all the transplants...if you want to ensure that the 18 inches of space you paid for is in a nice little box without any possibility of some sharing any of the sacrad space..go to Pepsi center...but if you want an amazing show that is true to Colorado not only in beauty but in the true spirit of Colorado gracious nature of welcoming you...come to red rocks and be nice as we all share space...the reason YOU moved here.

Incredible experience! Better have your cardio on though, as it's quite the hike at that elevation. A great mountain insulated venue for acoustics and hardly a bad seat in the house. The museum is great, I'd recommend spending some time looking around at all the history involved with Red Rocks. Can't wait to go back.

Concerts or Movies I still have fun up there if you're interested in going up there is a few things you need a cushion to sit on, bottles of water , and some food for kids and your walking shoes , when you get to the Gates everyone is wanded and bags searched so no glass anything. Also they have several parking area's again LOTS OF Walking, try to get to upper parking lots for handicap accessible parking or bottom lot also has lower level accessible parking with both area's wheel chairs are acceptable family/handicap bathrooms on both sides top and bottom of event. Great to go check out and just yell out to hear the amazing echoes, make sure people are cool with it !

Best place to see a show... In the world. Parking for concerts is best found at the lower south lot and where a lot of tailgating takes place. Look at the show schedule before coming for a visit- non concert days are the best day to visit for no admission. Enjoy the views!

Red Rocks was on my bucket list for years and as I headed there for my first show, coming from western NY, I wondered if so much hype and anticipation over the years would outweigh the actual experience... not even close! This venue is AWESOME! If you go, go early and look around you WILL NOT regret getting there early. Can't wait to go back again one day!
